Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

So so sorry to hear this mouse. Thinking of you at this hard time FlowersFlowersFlowers

harrietm87 · 02/02/2017 16:42

Oh mouse I'm so so sorry. This is just so very sad. Thinking of you and hoping you get the time and space you need to grieve. We'll be here waiting when you're ready.

If you don't mind me asking, what was your thyroid issue? Was it you that was overactive? I have an under active thyroid and worry about it a lot. No need to answer any time soon.

MissyJones80s · 02/02/2017 16:34

mouse there are no words, so sorry to hear your news we're here for you when you are up for coming back. Much love in the mean time x

Flashinthepan · 02/02/2017 16:21

FXSkip it's nice to hear from you and sorry you're feeling down today. Wishing you all the luck and hope for a healthy happy pregnancy/baby.

Flashinthepan · 02/02/2017 16:19

Mouse I'm so sorry. Take all the time you need. The only thing I have found is that grieving for my first pregnancy does not stop because I'm trying for a new one, but when the time is right for you, it's ok to be excited about one thing while still feeling sad about the other. Brew Flowers

Mrsbluebell17 · 02/02/2017 16:18

So so sorry Mouse 😔** thinking of you Flowers

sk1pper · 02/02/2017 16:04

Mouse - I'm so sorry, words cannot help you in this time but I just want you to know we'll still be here when you've got through this. Stay strong, I'm sending you all my love xx

MouseLove · 02/02/2017 15:54

Hey lovelies. I'm ok. Thank you for your well wishes. I'll be back, but not until I can get my health under control.

It looks like the thyroid issue stopped my baby growing at around 6+3. I'm 9+3 today so obviously things were not right. My HCG is now dropping lower which matches what the scan showed this morning. Baby is still in the sac but there is no heartbeat anymore. We saw one originally a few weeks ago.

I'm heartbroken, but I'm coping ok, I grieved yesterday if I'm honest and today was just a confirmation. The HCG readings at A&E on tuesday were too low. I knew. Saturday I'm having another scan to medically confirm where we will discuss management options. I think I need to go for the operation as I think naturally will be too much.

So, save me a spot please, I'll be back, I don't know when, but I'm not giving up. Thank you for all your support. X

FXSkip · 02/02/2017 15:44

Afternoon you lovely lot, just stopping by to say hello. I'm 9+6 today, the 18 days to my scan are ticking past at the slowest rate ever.

Mouse's sad news really rattled me today, I spent much of the morning feeling very tearful. It's a horrible mindfuck, trying for over a year to conceive (not that long, I know) and then spending 3 months freaking out on and off, knowing you have a 25% chance of mc. It's soul destroying. So chaps I just wanted to wish you all peace and mental clarity in this minefield. I'm mostly on the thread grads list now as I don't want to come here and whinge but know that you are all very much in my thoughts and I hope to see each and every one of you on the grads before (if) I pop. Xx

Londonjam · 02/02/2017 15:28

oh no :(

So sorry to hear that Sad
Thinking of you mouse xx

sk1pper · 02/02/2017 14:52

How many weeks was Mouse? I hope she's okay Sad

macsworth · 02/02/2017 14:48

Oh mouse, if you're still reading this thread then know that we're all thinking of you and are here for you if you need us.

Pyjamas81 · 02/02/2017 14:20

Oh no poor mouse 😞

Flashinthepan · 02/02/2017 14:09

Yeah I just popped on after Alexia's message Jam. Poor Mouse.

Hurrah for egg pug :)

Thanks for your cheers girls, it means a lot. I will try not to let you all down!

What's wrong with mouse ? I don't look at the grads thread. I am guessing mc but really really hoping not :(

AlexiaB · 02/02/2017 13:48

Pug do you think O day could have been yesterday and ties in with the more defined rise today? If not the crosshairs look fine to me, you just had some higher temps than normal before O which makes it look a bit more unclear. If you trust your 1&2dpo temps, and they're in your usual post-O temp range, then I'd say the crosshairs are correct Smile Also good news on the sore nips!

Well FF has confirmed ovulation! Still waiting on my ovusense sensor to confirm it, probably another day or two of high temps and it will.
What do you think alexia?
Also nipple feel sore today which is a sure sign there is an increasing amount of progesterone as I always get sore nipple in the tww.

Better get on with eating that pineapple!

alexia sorry about bfn but maybe it's just a bit early yet. Your temps look really good.

flash and tonks so sorry about af Flowers

Londonjam · 02/02/2017 12:33

Sorry tonks hope you are okay. I know exactly what you mean about POAS and AF. I swear if I looked at a FRER right now my period would start.

Miranda that's positive, get to it!

harriet cramps and spotting at 7 DPO would definitely make me think implantation. Fx for you.

passmethewine123 · 02/02/2017 12:22

Flash you're probably right there, considering we didn't DTD at the right time the chances that I'd caught were slim to none but we can't help letting ourselves believe can we Wink hope you're right about hormones and that when the times comes it will all work as it should!

Flashinthepan · 02/02/2017 12:19

I'd call that positive Miranda.

Sorry to hear about AF Tonks.

Harriet I though IB was usually pink/brown but unlikely to be red so don't give up hope.

pass sorry your AF is crappy too. It could be that, or maybe just that your hormones did a really good job of getting everything ready in case of pregnancy, which is a good sign, as when it does happen, your body will be ready.

Skip hugs. You can do it. I managed to entirely convince myself I was pregnant so no mad is too mad for here.

harrietm87 · 02/02/2017 12:07

Ps miranda that looks positive to me

harrietm87 · 02/02/2017 12:06

pyjamas it used to be 11/12 days but I started taking Vit B complex which has pushed it up to 12/13. It's never been anywhere near 7 in the last 2 years of tracking it.

Having done more googling it seems it is possible it's IB after all, but no way of definitively knowing for few days unless AF comes out in force before then.

Pyjamas81 · 02/02/2017 12:03

Aaaargh Harriet! How long is your luteal phase usually?

And how very odd skipper - could be due to the HSG. It was probably quite a shock to the system!

Everyone is talking about how much champagne is going to be consumed tonight - waaaaaaah. I've promised DH I wouldn't, and after last week am keeping to my word!
