Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Try and get out of work Harriet - sorry you have to go through this again. It doesn't mean you're broken though, unfortunately your body is just doing its job, as horrible as that is. Let us know how you get on xx

Mouse - good to hear from you, glad you're feeling a bit stronger. Will be good to have your sage advice and voice of reason around again, won't be long until you've graduated for good xxxx

Harriet I'm so sorry this has happened to you again Flowers I've been there and it is heart breaking. I agree with Flash that at 4+ weeks it's an early mc. You're so brave to be staying at work, I'm amazed at your strength. Please put yourself first and leave early if the pain and emotional side of things is too much to bear. I really am so sorry Sad

Oh Harriet so sorry Flowers Get yourself out of work and give yourself some time. If your gp is rubbish I agree with others about asking to see someone else- you need someone that you can talk freely with, it's your right.

EJ I had really bad cramps a few days before AF this time, never had them before so was sure I was pregnant (mad I know!). Lots of people have the same things as normal and get a bfp, lots of people have random symptoms and don't get a bfp so don't give up hope yet!

Harriet I'm really sorry it's happening to you again. As others have said, please do whatever you need to look after yourself.

The only thing I would say, is I'm not sure 5+4 is a chemical pregnancy (not sure of your cycle length etc so could be wrong). If it should be classed as an early miscarriage, it may be worth flagging up to your dr. I'm sure next time you get a bfp everything will be fine, but in case it happens again, you want it to be known that it's not a one off so that if there's anything they can look into, they will.

So sorry to read this Harriet. Don't suffer at work feeling like this, your health and well-being are the most important and if you need time off, take it. I know it's easier said than done but you need to look after yourself Flowers

flash it's bad AF style cramps. I've been having gentle ones since before I got bfp which are normal, but woke up today with strong ones. Started bleeding about 10am.

Oops it was supposed to say 11dpo not cd 11. Im due af wednesday so i think im out as i have my usual pre af severe pains.

Harriet so sorry to hear this. As everyone else has said, it definitely does not mean you are broken and won't go on to have lovely healthy babies!

Can I just ask, what kind of pain are you having?

Oh harriet, I'm so, so sorry. Do whatever you need to get through today and look after yourself. Chemicals are, sadly, so common that having two absolutely does not mean your broken at all. Is there a different GP you could see to try and get some reassurances? Thinking of you lovely Flowers

Thanks all. I think mouse is right and no point going to the epu- its unmistakeable anyway. I know chemicals are common but it's just that this is my second in a row (albeit with a year gap). I seem to have no problem conceiving but then just can't hold on to them. My GP is worse than useless. I wish I could go home but have loads on and think I am going to have to battle through. Thanks for being such a support.

I'm so sorry Harriet. Unfortunately chemical pregnancies are soooo common, and often go unnoticed. I didn't realise until my miscarriage just how much so. Most women will have chemical pregnancies and not know.

EPU won't see you as it's too early but you may be able to get some answers from your GP. I'm so sorry. I have found gaining knowledge about how and why a pregnancy doesn't continue real emotional power to feel better about my situation.

Of course right now you just need to take some time. It's normal to feel like you're broken, but you're not hunny. Your body is trying real hard. Don't give up on it. Get yourself home with a hot water bottle and make an appointment with your GP. Xxx 💐

Oh no Harriet - I'm so sorry. I don't know what the advice is for chemicals but definitely see if you can get out of work to an EPU if possible. 💐💐 for you

Two chemicals absolutely does not mean you are broken lovely. Get some help from someone IRL and keep us posted when you can. Hope you're okay ☹️

hep I've heard a few people say that their pets being funny around them turned out to be a BPF so keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm waiting to test until after my longest cycle which would be 22nd. Have a feeling I Ov earlier than that but trying not to think about it too much (failing quite badly!!)

flash unfortunately don't think you can get morning sickness this early. Can't be did poisoning, OH is fine, and we have eaten the same.

Well this is a horrible deja vu. Almost a year to the day of my chemical pregnancy I've started bleeding again. I'm 5+4 counting from lmp but 4+4 accounting for long cycle/late ovulation. Absolutely heartbroken. Sitting in the toilets at work crying and don't know what to do. The cramps are really bad so no doubt about it. Please tell me that 2 chemicals doesn't necessarily mean I'm broken.

Hey ladies. Just dropping in. Just watched a fascinating panorama documentary about fertility clinics and add ons. It's a massive eye opener. I found it on my sky planner under panorama - Inside Britain's fertility business.

No news here, got another week off work then back to normal. Feel better physically. Hope everyone is ok. X

Sometimes I think they just take a while to see the light pyjamas & will carry on even though they know they are wrong just out of stubbornness - mine does anyway!!

That's basically what I said to DH flash - and that if this is what it's going to be like, I can't deal with it and would rather not do it at all. He is massively sorry though and doing everything he can to make it up to me. Fx for you! Sounds like you're getting some well timed dtd in!
