Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Also kath - well done at your appointment today. Glad it went okay xxx

Pugmummy87 · 09/02/2017 14:05

Logged on post night shift sleep to see how kwick got on with her scan and I'm devastated to hear the news. I'm so so sorry, this is so unfair that you are having to go through this again. We are here for you.

Sorry about AF pyjamas

Katharino glad the scan went OK and wasn't too bad for you.

Congratulations to all the recent bfps (harriet I'm sure you are one of them, but sleep deprived brain is not helping!)

mouse Flowers it will be hard, but it's good that your specialist wants to get your levels optimal before conceiving again. It's another part of the prep on this journey. Fx they come down to normal levels very soon.

I think egg may have dropped a couple of days ago. I had 2 days of ewcm (I actually got excited, because I never get it! Blush) and then some ovulation pain followed by 3 temp rises. Cd 29 today, so suspect that AF will now be due around the 20th (my wedding anniversary is on the 19th, so that might be crap timing).

Kathrino · 09/02/2017 13:34

I'm sorry mouse, that must be so hard however much it makes sense from a medical perspective. I hope they find the right meds and treatment for you so that your levels come back to normal as soon as possible Flowers

HepKestrel · 09/02/2017 13:25

Flowers mouse

6 months (although it may not feel like it) is not long. You will be focusing on getting yourself as healthy as possible, and that is just another part of the ttc marathon.

MouseLove · 09/02/2017 13:18

Kwick I'm gutted for you. So sorry I really had positive thoughts for you, I can't believe this is happening, life is cruel. I'm here for you as you have been for me. X 💐

Alexia happy birthday hunny. Remember you are in perfect time. Today is one day closer to your BFP. X

Congratulations to all who have had good news and hugs to those who haven't or who are struggling. As I've said to Alexia this applies to all, today is one day closer to your BFP and your sweet babies. Don't give up hope.

I saw my specialist on Monday. It's difficult news to swallow but he has asked I do not TTC until my thyroid levels are normal. Completely understandable but still hard to hear. I see him again in 2 months which is ok, but he has warned it could take up to 12 months. He thinks 6 months is an ideal time to wait for the meds to be monitored. All I can think about is being pregnant again. I'm not focusing on all the moments that will be hard in the coming months. One step at a time. Tomorrow is another day. X

Kaydee2017 · 09/02/2017 13:13

Kwick so so sorry Flowers there are no words, it's just so unfair Sad

kavanaughkj · 09/02/2017 12:59

:( What horrible news - I am so so sorry kwick. I was so looking forward to having you join the grads thread.

I don't poke my head in here very often these days as I feel semi-guilty having achieved grad status, but having seen the latest news here I couldn't stay quiet.

There's so much love for you here. I hope it helps you in whatever way it can. Flowers

Londonjam · 09/02/2017 12:56

Oh no kwick

I just can't believe this :( :( :(

I am so so sorry lovely lady. We are all here for you.

Mrsbluebell17 · 09/02/2017 12:50

Kwick I'm so so so sorry. Such a hard time, I am thinking of you. Try and keep focussed and positive

So so sorry pjs. I know it's so hard to get your head round it all. I'm a control freak too so I totally get you!

Congrats colour. Great news.

Thanks for all the notes, I'm ok, no AF still so don't know what I saw when I wiped this morning but I'm still hopeful I'm just not getting any faint lines yet. Thanks for the note on that Harriet.

What a mixed bag of news to come back to. This ttc is soooo emotionally draining.

Miranda234 · 09/02/2017 12:46

Oh kwick I am so so sorry Flowers as the others have said, we are all here for you. Thinking of you Flowers

FXSkip · 09/02/2017 12:27

kwick how dare this happen to you, I can't help but have a cry for you. I am so sorry, not that it means anything. Just so gutted. I hope you have friends and family IRL who can rally round and support you, I wish I could give you a huge hug.

Flashinthepan · 09/02/2017 12:12

Oh god Kwick. I am so so so sorry. We're all here for you. Whatever you need.

sk1pper · 09/02/2017 12:03

Kwick - I literally had to walk out the office because I thought I was going to cry at your news. There are no words really, I am so so sorry. Please don't give up though, I know you are capable of this - you're so dedicated and inspiring. I wish I could be there to support you personally through this but you are in my thoughts today xxx

Peaches8Posies · 09/02/2017 12:00

kwick I can't believe you have to go through this again. I truly hope you get some hugs in RL soon. But sending you loads of virtual ones right now. Always here when you need to off load xxx

kathrino well done on getting though your tests. Never plesant getting poked and prodded x

happy birthday alexia 🎂🍸🎁 i hope you can enjoy joy your day xx

This has been quite the uphill struggle for many of us girls, but we will all get there in the end. We will have babies we will love and treasure soo much SmileFlowers xx

AlexiaB · 09/02/2017 11:59

Music I know it's crazy! My O day could have been CD14 instead of CD12 so it was either 14 or 16 days, which is a huge difference! Think I'm responding better to Femara now and maybe the combo together suits me? Just need a sticky egg! Hope you and bub are doing well.

pyjamas and winging I want to try a more of relaxed approach this cycle too. Less temping and maybe no OPKs. Let's see of it works!

Congrats Colour. Looking forward to your update!

Kathrino glad the scan went well. Hope you treated yourself to something nice afterwards.

Thank you for the birthday wishes you lovely lot Smile

Kwick (((hugs))) ❤️❤️❤️

God Kwick I'm so sorry for your loss. You are such a special lady and a huge support to all of us and it isn't fair at all for you to go through this again. There are no words but know that we're here.

HepKestrel · 09/02/2017 11:45

oh kwick I am so sorry. You have fought so hard and long for this. It is not fair.

Kwick

I'm so sorry... Hope you are holding up ok Flowers

Kathrino · 09/02/2017 11:11

Oh kwick, there are no words. I'm so so sorry. Sending you so much love and strength to get through whatever is coming next. Thinking of you Flowers

kwick · 09/02/2017 11:08

Sounds like a plan pyjamas may help to have a more relaxed approach.

kathrino there was only blondie and a lady with a kids scooter so did not think it could be you. Jenna spent ages looking for a lost patient and Susan - who is the phlebotomist- was also looking and actually as she saw I was a mess got my scan prioritised.

Not good news I am afraid - I have miscarried again. Probably again due to a chromosomal issue. Devastated. Not sure what to do next. Am sitting in an Eat - cannot go home yet as cleaner will be there soon. Unlike others I am not sure I will abandon the thread - I find it so comforting. I may just read the parking ones for a while.

colourmylife · 09/02/2017 10:53

I took some photos on my iPad which is at home. I'll send them on when I get home from work. I hope it's not just my imagination!!

Kaydee2017 · 09/02/2017 10:51

Don't think I will test until I am significantly late bluebell, missed FW, although no idea if / when I ovulated either, just to add to the fun!!

Hope you are feeling well enough to start DTD jam - LSFX!!

Congrats colour! Hope all is well & uneventful for you - fx.

LSFX also skipper! Well done on holding out Star

Glad you are ok after the scan Kathrino Smile

Fx for you too Claire!
