Ok so I am bravely attempting to set up a new thread for anyone tTC.
Plug in your stats ...
Share the highs of your journey
Limit the lows - yes it's a challenging time but being negative gets you down.
I'm thinking positivity breeds positivity and positive thinking gets positive results -
It may take some of us a little longer than others ... but does that matter? I think not.

New rules - instead of saying af due ... we say bfp due ...

So here goes ... my stats
Age 38
Cycle 3
Bfp due 14/02

Welcome to everyone else who has joined the PMA thread!

Sorry to hear you got a BFN Dolly, hopefully it's implantation bleed rather than af on her way.

Hard not to symptom spot isn't it! I've had waves of nausea the last two mornings, though occas get this before af shows up so could well be that. I did have heartburn yesterday though and I never get that - know someone whose 1st pregnancy symptom was that, but trying not to read into it too much or the fact that DS has become super clingy which some people reckon they do, as if they can sense you are pregnant. We'll see when I test tomo :)

Interesting link for all symptom spotters in 2ww :))

Morning magpie - good to have you back :))
I know exactly what you mean ... this tTC journey is a bit of a rollercoaster ride ... af being the down, then like you say once you get over the disappointment the next few days after af you can enjoy dtd whenever you bloody like ... if it happens cool if not hey ho ... then comes the poas opks ... the gradual incline of wondering how many sticks you have to pee on before you see the magical line or smiley face which you can't help wishing was a pg test result... happy days but then the stress of getting oh in the mood (and ourselves) ... conceive plus, pre seed gel, and post dtd pelvis at a raised angle with no peeing just to ensure that as many sperm stay inside as possible .... fw ends you relax for a day or two ... then the dreaded 2ww and symptom spotting mania begins ..... ahhhhh the joys of being a woman tTC :))))

Good luck with your opks ... your dtd strategy is spot on according to the everything I've read too.

Xxxx

Morning all! I have had a few days away from the board, just waiting for my FW which will start in the next few days I think. OPKs at the ready...

I have to say that once I am over the disappointment, I quite like the few days after my period has started and then finished so I can think about something else other than getting pregnant!

Normal life resumes until FW...

From today we are DTD every other day and especially in the 2 days prior to ovulation, as per the NHS advice on TTC. Let's hope this month is the month! Baby dust to all.

Hippychic79 · 02/02/2017 08:56

Sarahb- I think I'm collecting symptoms too ... yesterday I noticed I had blood shot eyes ... so I googled is blood shot eyes an early pregnancy sign .... I mean really ... what's that about? 😂 Xxx

Haha oh Moo, if I had done that, I'd have been testing every day too! Does it not make you crazy? I've made a promise not to test again until the weekend if AF doesn't get me beforehand....

Moo31 · 01/02/2017 22:29

Dolly I've done a test every morning since Monday! All bfns but af not due until Sat (I think - cycles have been irregular) so i am early in testing. We bought a batch online (20 for £10) - not sure how reliable they are but it's hard to resist when they aren't scarce! Fx these are our last cycles (and if not we'll get on the bike and try again!)

Dollydaydream2829 · 01/02/2017 22:19

Fingers crossed ladies, and for the sake of the PMA attitude of this thread, I'm gonna say it's implantation bleeding until AF rears her ugly head for real. Still continuing to spot and nothing more since late yesterday although last cycle I spotted a couple days until the real deal appeared.
Yay! Cycle buddies!! (Although hopefully first and last cycle when we get our BFPs!) When are you gonna test Moo?

sarahboro1 · 01/02/2017 21:44

i get a new symptom every cycle!! I think I'm collecting them! 😂

Hi Salem!! Fx for you in your 2ww!! Xx

mrsbarnettsbaby · 01/02/2017 21:34

Sarah - since having coil out on 25 July they have varied from 15-67 days. I'm going to test again on cd68. Loads of symptoms but I do every cycle. Bfn on ic yesterday.

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 01/02/2017 21:34

Hello everyone and welcome new members of the PMA club!
Ive been quiet because of so much work stress - bring on half term!!!
I'm still in 2ww and trying hard not to symptom spot, although there is nothing there!
Hope everyone is well xxx

sarahboro1 · 01/02/2017 21:21

Thank you moo!!

Thanks mrsb, cd50?? Is that abnormal for you too or is that quite 'normal'? I'm chomping at the bit so to speak!! 😂 I want a crack at my next cycle as every one brings a fresh opportunity to conceive!! Xx

Moo31 · 01/02/2017 21:16

Dolly I think our dates are roughly the same - I am due af Saturday (if this cycle is 32 days) and I think I ov on Friday 20th. Fingers crossed you are getting implantation bleeding but if not keep your spirits up and keep positive!

mrsbarnettsbaby · 01/02/2017 21:14

Hi Sarah. I'm also in the no idea when bfp due Club. I'm on cd50. Welcome aboard. FX for us all.

Moo31 · 01/02/2017 21:13

Hi MrsB and Sarah welcome to the PMA club! :)

Charley2016 · 01/02/2017 21:02

Archie's I didn't mind the conceive plus, same as you I would happily use it again. Although the second time (TMI!) I found what looked like a cube of jelly after dtd which was weird 😳

sarahboro1 · 01/02/2017 20:26

Can I join in ladies?? I was on the January bus on my own getting a little lonely!!

Age 35
Ttc #1
Cycle10
BFP due not sure really!! I'm a very regular 28 day girl but I'm now on cd40 with no sign of her!! Had 2 bfn's this week so feel rather on hold atm. I think illness pushed my ovulation back this cycle which is why I'm late as I had 2 bouts of positive opks later on in my cycle.

Really believe in pma so looking forward to chatting on here!! Xx

ArchiesMamaBird · 01/02/2017 20:03

Dolly could it be implantation bleeding? In which case it could be too early to get a positive result on a pregnancy test? Fingers crossed it's good news for you Smile

Dollydaydream2829 · 01/02/2017 16:48

So, today.... I caved and tested. B.F.N.
I'm either 12 DPO and due AF on Fri or I'm 9 DPO and due AF on Mon. I had my strong positive on the Friday on the OPK but I had a slightly fainter line than control and also ovulation spotting and cramping on the Mon so I'm really unsure.
Either way, I know I shouldn't have tested but there is an endless supply in work and I couldn't resist.
I'm spotting every so slightly at the minute so it's undoubtedly AF on her way for Fri!
Here's to my BFP March cycle!!

Hippychic79 · 01/02/2017 15:08

keep us posted Mrs.b
Try not to stress about time

Thanks, I will have a look, I guess with having 3 DC already I thought it would be easier than this. I temp and use ovia. Tried opks back in sept but didn't get a positive. If I'm not pg this cycle I think I'll try cbfm and go back to the docs as I am running out of time. DP has no kids, although has never actively tried before. He did have to have an op for undescended testes when he was a baby.

Hippychic79 · 01/02/2017 11:06

MrsB - I echo Archies advice, it's a great book. Sadly I can't temp as my OH would wonder why and I can't tell him as he doesn't want to start TTC properly till later in the year, its bad enough POAS OPK's in the mornings behind his back :))
