Ok so I am bravely attempting to set up a new thread for anyone tTC.
Plug in your stats ...
Share the highs of your journey
Limit the lows - yes it's a challenging time but being negative gets you down.
I'm thinking positivity breeds positivity and positive thinking gets positive results -
It may take some of us a little longer than others ... but does that matter? I think not.

New rules - instead of saying af due ... we say bfp due ...

I think acupuncture is amazing but I love alternative therapies, crystals, tarot cards, all that hippy stuff ... thus the name :)) I don't look like a hippy though ... I shower regularly, I don't smoke pot and sadly I don't grow my own veggies 😂
Baking - maybe acupuncture would help regulate your cycles post breastfeeding... although it can be pricey as I'm guessing your not in the south west? If you are - pm me and I'll give you the details of my acupuncture guy :))
I'm trying really hard not to symptom spot, felt a bit sick today but keep telling myself it's probably in my head ... I fell hard too the other month Charley so I know exactly what your saying!

Hi Salem - awwww how lovely ... a cuddle with a little baby... I like your positivity around it too. You're so right ... it's not all about temping and opks ... this a life changing experience and a little humans we will be bringing into the world ... some of whom will probably be members on here in 20+ years time ... wonder what the opks of the future will look like... hopefully they'll be bloody cheaper :)))

Interested about the acupuncture ladies. I've been to see one specialising in fertility and am going to start with her once a week when I get my next period. I think just going will help my relax but I have heard many positives about it. Not as good value as your one though Hippy! My dh is away from D10-15 this month so not counting on anything this time....just continuing to be as healthy as I can. How do you all sleep- I think it's such an important factor for our mental wellbeing to get enough sleep and I think lots of us don't. I have been going to bed earlier and not looking at my phone as I think it winds me up and gets my mind jumping around the place.

Although I confess I do love reading positive stories of 'older women' conceiving ! What kind of age is everyone- I'm 38 but at times feel like I'm 48!!! Plenty of fertile years left in me!

Hello everyone!

Today, a colleague brought her 6mo baby into work and let me hold her! It was so lovely and it felt as if my uterus was going to explode! I think it just puts the TTC experience into perspective - it's not just about temping and OPKs - it's about the little baby.

Anyway, I hope everyone is ok and not too worried in the 2ww.
Charley I'm due around the same time as you but I'm not sure I'm going to start testing until AF turns up. I just don't feel pg (unlike last month when I was symptom spotting like a crazy lady). Maybe thats a good sign?

Hippy I need your acupuncturist - mine charged so much in comparison!

Glad acupuncture is helping you Hippychic!

No sign of af, really think I'm not getting one this month. From past experience if it doesn't come along after around 30 days it can take several months - until my late 20s I never had regular periods, often went months and months without one. It's strange though, had all the signs I get around and after ovulation, but after a week they just disappeared. Thinking still breastfeeding isn't helping, trying to gently wean, but easier said than done with a toddler!

Ooh might have to look in to acupuncture. Although since coming off the pill my periods are much better. Was 5 days this month but they've generally been only 3 and not too bad!

I'm keeping positive, but also not trying to get my hopes up as my fall was rather bad when AF came last month!

I'm not due until Friday so I'll try hold off until Wednesday at least. When do you think you will test? Any symptoms to spot?

Charley - They may be pregnancy related symptoms... they certainly sound like it ... I think implantation happens between 6dpo and 10dpo but I could be wrong. Fx you get your bfp in the next week or so :))) are you testing early? If so which day Hun?

Yeah I have acupuncture every week - it's only £15 for x2 sessions so rude not to really :)) it's definitely helped with PMs - cramps are no longer unbearably painful... I used to get twinges and then unbearable cramp pain for a minute or two on and off of cd1 -and would have to take paracetamol... now i don't need to which is great :))

I'm wondering where sweet has got to as she's the next on the list to test ....

Thanks lovely. I'm feeling really strange now. I didn't feel that boozy last night and I'm certainly not hungover. However im still quite crampy in the lower left of my stomach. I haven't eaten all day as I just don't fancy anything. I've just cleaned all the house and got ready to go out and started actually gagging! Like I know I'm not going to be sick but I feel like it. I've also had the worst wind all day!I hate that I can't stop symptom spotting and I hadn't at all so far this week. I'm sure at only 7dpo there's no way it could be pregnancy connected Confused

Good luck with the acupuncture. Have you had it before? Been reading a lot about it lately!

Hi Charley - welcome back Hun :)) glad you had a nice blow out and relaxing time at the spa.
I'm good thanks - just hanging out at 5dpo which feels like 50dpo and trying my level best not to symptom spot :)
Got acupuncture in a bit

7dpo today for me, nausea, woke up with headache during the night and stomach cramps. However it's much more likely to be the cocktails yesterday Blush spa was lovely but made me realise how out of shape I am. So that was my last blowout and now for the clean eating, no alcohol and making the best body for any BFP we're blessed with!!

Sorry for your bfn this morning too baking ... again ... good PMA. Sympathise with the dream thing ... I had a dream I was pregnant back in December and was convinced it was a sign. It's bad enough that our bodies play tricks on us with sysmtoms (loving the itchy toe one Moo :)) but when your mind gets on board too ... it's like, come on universe ... give me that bfp.

Any testers in the next few days ?

Despite a dream last night where I got a BFP, it was BFN when I tested this morning. CD47 here, so will just be glad when af arrives and I can start again with the next cycle :)

I'm thinking we as humans are always thinking the worst, the majority of things we worry about never happen so therefore why wouldn't we conceive ! It will happen!

Yeah I can understand that Moo. I ended up testing AGAIN today even though I knew the answer haha! Forever hopeful.
I've continued to spot today and it's been paired with the most HORRENDOUS cramps I've ever experienced. So AF is defo on her wicked way. Since coming off BCP, my symptoms have also been different every cycle just about!

Dolly - I think strangely it makes me less crazy because I accept that result and am ready and raring to go for my next cycle ... I still have some that I'm testing too early and the elusive second line might still appear ... and until something else (unwanted) appears that's what I'm going with!
