Ok so I am bravely attempting to set up a new thread for anyone tTC.
Plug in your stats ...
Share the highs of your journey
Limit the lows - yes it's a challenging time but being negative gets you down.
I'm thinking positivity breeds positivity and positive thinking gets positive results -
It may take some of us a little longer than others ... but does that matter? I think not.

New rules - instead of saying af due ... we say bfp due ...

So here goes ... my stats
Age 38
Cycle 3
Bfp due 14/02

Eek that sounds promising dolly! I will have my fingers firmly crossed for you. Keep us up to date with things. Is the nausea all day? Hopefully the spotting was implantation and you'll get your BFP in a few days!

Haha Sarah will you have your mum there too just in case then? I don't think I'll have anyone else so I hope mine is ok.

I have super sensitive nipples and a bad back today still but I get these in the week before AF every month Sad

sarahboro1 · 04/02/2017 12:51

That's sounding positive dolly! Fx it's implantation for you!! Xx

My hubby is scared of blood, needles and anything gory so I think I'll lose him!! 😂 Xx

Dollydaydream2829 · 04/02/2017 12:44

I've never watched OBEM believe it or not! I've seen a good few births due to the area I work in (obstetrics & gynae) and that's enough experience for me!! Haha!
Spotting has completely tailed off to nothing now? CD 29 now and usually I'm a 28 day cycle girl. Although last month was a 30 day cycle. Maybe I did actually ovulate later than I thought and it was the Monday instead of the friday? I'm going to try and not think about it too much over the weekend and just wait and see. I purposely have no tests in the house because I would probably POAS multiple times a day if I did LOL! So will wait and see if AF shows up by Monday and if not, I'll test again on Tues. No cramps, but still nauseous.

Charley2016 · 04/02/2017 12:40

Haha I'm not sure really! Mines really laid back most of the time although he can be really fiery at times! Mostly when I'm a grumpy bitch Wink I think he will be quite calm on the outside but panicky and trying to do everything for me! When his sister was pregnant he was totally perplexed as to why she was getting in a bus or doing her own shopping at 4-5 months and thought her dp should be doing it all haha!

sarahboro1 · 04/02/2017 12:31

I've thought about this too and I'm gonna take all the drugs on offer!!! 😂 No point being brave lol!! Although I really don't want to be a screamer, so that's my only thing I'm determined to stay quiet!! We'll see I guess!! I already know it'll be my hubby that'll be the mess so my mums gonna have to be on standby if he passes out!!!

How do all you ladies think your oh's will cope??!! 😁 Xx

Charley2016 · 04/02/2017 10:46

Haha I haven't watched it since TTC, used to be obsessed! I'm still watching and crying happy tears. I'm determined to be an earth mother who takes it all with no pain relief and no screaming Confused husband thinks I'll be an absolute mess haha!

sarahboro1 · 04/02/2017 10:42

I'm obsessed with that program Charley!! My hubby thinks I'm crazy but I think it's good to be prepared for what's to come!! ☺️ Xx

Charley2016 · 04/02/2017 09:37

Why have I spent the last 3 hours watching one born every minute 😫

sarahboro1 · 04/02/2017 09:02

Good luck missmagpie!! I do think opks are a good idea as quite often I think we'd miss ovulation when it tends to move around a bit!! Being the amazing creatures us women are we're not all text book so I think it's a good idea to monitor and not just assume we're standard like apps suggest!! Xx

MissMagpie · 04/02/2017 08:53

Sorry that AF has arrived for some of you. PMA all the way and enjoy your freedom to drink wine in the meantime!

I just got a high fertility flashing face on my CB opk. I am CD 11 today. Last mo th had a high on CD15. According to Ovia my fertile week doesn't even start til Weds, so that's a bit out!

Dtd today and maybe tmrw too as Monday is never a good day with work etc. My peak should be earlier - next 2 or 3 days I expect. Seem to be having another short cycle.

Charley2016 · 04/02/2017 07:46

Baking 25months!!! Wow, well done you!

I woke early sobbing after a bit very nice pregnancy dream. I won't spoil the positivity with details but you can imagine Sad however it did result in another morning of not poas at least. I know I'm only 8DPO but last month I started about 6or7 because I was so convinced Confused

bakingmad83 · 04/02/2017 07:31

Thanks ladies, know we've done well still feeding at 25 months and I still enjoy breastfeeding, but think it's time to start winding things up. At least yesterday avoided a feed at naptime by having a sleep in car and then offering a snack and beaker of oat milk as soon as we got in. Going to try that one today too :)

Keeping everything crossed for everyone still due a bfp this cycle and for Moo and Dolly this coming cycle!

Hippychic79 · 04/02/2017 06:56

Flowers Moo - echo what dolly said ... excellent PMA / mindset. I believe everything happens for a reason and that it will happen when it's meant to... but it is so very hard seeing bfns and getting af. On the plus side - we are all still here keeping each other going and we are all one step closer to that bfp xxx

Moo31 · 03/02/2017 22:52

Thank you ladies! Yes dolly this month is our month!! Grin

Dollydaydream2829 · 03/02/2017 22:39

Excellent mindset Moo! I'm just keen for AF to start properly so we can be cycle buddies again! This one will be our one! Grin

sarahboro1 · 03/02/2017 22:34

That's the spirit moo!! Just another step closer and another opportunity. ☺️ Xx

Charley2016 · 03/02/2017 22:26

Oh sorry for AF moo. Super positive way to look at it though. Glad you have a nice wine filled visit to look forward too! Wine

Moo31 · 03/02/2017 22:15

Dolly - poor you :( I hope you feel better soon! Sorry about bfn :(
Unfortunately she reared her ugly head tonight. Staying positive for next cycle ... and the other positives are that I must be one month closer to being pg (right!?) and also I'm going to visit my cousin in a few weeks and she will have the fridge stocked with wine (must admit I was a bit worried about having to make a v early pg announcement - if I refuse a glass of wine she would know straight away!)

Charley and hippy and salem - don't deprive us of those 2 lines this month! Fx for you (and anyone else I've forgotten who hasn't bfn yet!)

Baking - that sounds so frustrating - hopefully things regulate for you soon! But dolly is right - your body is doing an amazing task!

Salem - I love the new baby smell! Sat beside my friend and her 3mo at lunch last weekend dying for a cuddle but she wasn't for giving him up! I keep saying to oh when I have my own I WILL pass him/her over for cuddles (and enjoy having free hands and a hot cuppa!)!

Blondie - I used to get about 6 hrs but since ttc I'm trying to be in bed for 11.30, read a book and lights off for midnight. My oh comes to bed between 2am and 3am most nights - granted he works 5 mins from home so gets up later than me but I don't know how he does it! Oh and I'm 30, nearly 31.

Sarah - I'm with you on that one - let's get through this next week / two and get on with ttc!!!

Dollydaydream2829 · 03/02/2017 21:32

Yeah they definitely feel like symptoms but like you said barking, I've had a couple BFNs now so it's just a particularly bad PMS cycle. I just stopped taking Gedarel at the end of August so my body is maybe still normalising. The frustrating thing is that up until December, my cycles were VERY regular, no spotting before AF and barely any PMS symptoms and then the last two have been full on.
Your body is doing an amazing thing already baking with the feeding, it's probably saying to you 'excuse me, one amazing task at a time please' Grin
Charley, I think we're all guilty of that! Losing focus and forgetting that it's a race and that it'll happen if we wait patiently! I'm a big believer of when it's meant to happen, it'll happen.... (Although trying to tell myself that 12 DPO with a BFN is tough! Haha)

Charley2016 · 03/02/2017 20:51

Salem I'm exactly the same. Last month I was convinced but this month I'm not! Although I was happy I didn't have any of the usual back pain and then this afternoon I started to get a horrific stabby ache in my lower left side! Don't normally get backache until 3-4 days before AF and she's not due for a week.

Did you test today dolly? Sorry you're feeling so bad Flowers

I think I'm looking forward to pregnancy and focusing on it so much that it's not until a get a cuddle from a little baby that I remember that's what my focus should be Confused

bakingmad83 · 03/02/2017 20:43

Thanks Dolly, if you hadn't got a BFN I'd have said your symptoms sounded very promising, as was me in the early weeks of pregnancy last time round. Hope you feel better soon and af shows up properly very soon.

Thanks Hippychic, in the NW. I'm just hoping that once DS stops feeding, if we're still ttc, then cycles will regulate themselves as in the 2 years prior to conceiving him I was 30 days regular as clockwork. I've said to myself that if I'm not meant to conceive till he's finished feeding, that's what nature intended and will conceive when he and me are ready :)

Dollydaydream2829 · 03/02/2017 18:19

Hi ladies,
Still no sign of proper AF today, still just brown spotting. I've still been having the most HORRENDOUS cramps to the point I've been doubled over at times in work today. It's too high up to just be period cramps, maybe a bit of constipation? (Sorry TMI) which is something I'm rarely bothered by. Feeling a bit sorry for myself but mainly cos I'm just feeling so lousy!
Glad you had a lovely spa day, defo will relax you!
I hope AF does come for you baking, sorry for the BFN!
Welcome blondie!
How are you Moo? Any sign of BFP yet?? Hope AF hasn't got to you!

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 03/02/2017 18:02

Blondie I had acupuncture for stress/ issue with my inner ear. It was really expensive but it taught me to relax. I enjoyed the sessions because I was really chilled out. I'm not sure it healed me but it did help. The lady I saw was a fertility specialist but I didn't get to see what she did in that field.
Sleep wise, I need at least 7+ hours sleep to even function but I think thats because Im a teacher so I can't have any time in the working day to not be alert/ constantly engaged! My DH can sleep for 4 hours and feel refreshed (what a weirdo).

Hippy I am sat here chuckling about robotic OPKs that cost 99p..... In our dreams!!!!!

sarahboro1 · 03/02/2017 17:58

Thanks for the 🍷 And 💐 Ladies, I've never been so pleased to see her!! Just got to get through this week and then crack on ttc!!!

Happy Friday everyone. Xx
