Ok so I am bravely attempting to set up a new thread for anyone tTC.
Plug in your stats ...
Share the highs of your journey
Limit the lows - yes it's a challenging time but being negative gets you down.
I'm thinking positivity breeds positivity and positive thinking gets positive results -
It may take some of us a little longer than others ... but does that matter? I think not.

New rules - instead of saying af due ... we say bfp due ...

I am also feeling much more relaxed and positive this month ladies. It must be something to do with this thread!

I saw two pregnant friends yesterday and I didn't feel jealous or have any negative feelings. Just very excited for them and excited for me one of these months!

I had another flashing smiley today and the line is getting stronger so hoping that I will be getting a static tmrw or Weds.

Loving all the positive vibes! I just did a happy dance after noticing that CM was in tip top condition for baby making! Grin tmi - sorry! Part of my positive planning is just to keep fit & healthy & to relish those moments that will totally change when a baby arrives... lie ins at the weekends, spontaneous shopping & date nights etc. Also spending time thinking about how to tell DH when I get a positive. I'm thinking of a babygrow with "my daddy supports Ipswich Town FC" I'm not sure i can hide much from him though as he knows me so well - may take the plunge and buy one because once I get the positive result, there's no way I'll be able to hide it from him!!! Hope you're all having happy Mondays! X

Yeah I completely understand too ... a few of my mates know I'm tTC and one mate in particular- every time I see her 'have you got anything to tell me' ... even if I were upduffed surely these people should respect the priority of list of who gets told first ... 1 - oh & mn friends :)) 2 - family and they should respect the 12 week period ... makes me wish I hadn't told her!

I think the visualisations are a great idea, I do them quite a lot & they do work! One example, when I was house hunting I was getting pretty fed up and I decided I'll just draw my dream home. It was a terrible drawing but You could get the gist and I ended up living in it. So I'd encourage everyone to give it a go
I've not thought about the whole announcement thing yet, I know our parents we will probably get told not long after we know and my oh gets upset if I pee on a stick without telling him. So not sure I could plan anything for him but the idea of doing it with a baby grow is so sweet!

Hippy i think the baby grow is totally cute! Anything that small is! And even more special for your other half.

Archie's I totally get it. It's nice to have people to talk to but when they are all going on about it at the wrong time of the month it's just annoying! Hope AF stays away for you x

Hi ladies. Me, DH and DS have had a bit of a bug so have only just caught up. I cracked on Thursday and took a test but got a BFN (it was 5 days until AF due). And I've been having stomach cramps the last 2 days which I always get just before AF so I'm pretty sure she'll arrive like clockwork on Tuesday Sad

Charley we got married in June, and I made the mistake of telling people that we were going to start ttc just after the wedding. So I've had 8 months of "oh are you still not pregnant yet?" Hmm It doesn't help that DS was a happy accident, so I just expected it to happen straight away again. I keep reminding myself of the statistics that it's completely normal to take up to a year to conceive, so that makes me feel a little bit better.

I'm desperate to buy teeny, tiny baby clothes. But I'll hold back. I feel I've jinxed myself enough by buying a vintage silver cross pram back in October!
Those muslins are gorge though!

Salem - just type in google what will my baby look like and it comes up with lots of free apps ... each app produces a different pic though ... bit like fertility apps ... all of them are different 😂
Slap on the wrists mr Salem for lack of PMA :))

I think yours sounds a LOT more positive Salem - fits in with implantation bleeding as in a couple of days and a few days before AF due! Mines always starts about 3 -4 days before AF and carries on until AF finally shows? I've been off my pill for 6 months now and the first 4 cycles were perfect, when we weren't focused on conceiving yet the last two I've had spotting beforehand. I'm maybe just looking into things WAAAAY too much! Blush

Dolly I have had/ am having crazy spotting! Last month it was for 3 days and then AF came 5 days later. This month it has happened on CD26/29 8DPO. Not sure what to think really!!

Wow 2 days Hippy that is great! I love the baby grow, what a great way to tell your OH! I bet he will be really overcome with that Smile. What is this baby face predictor app? I need it!

Phase & Charley maybe you are so chilled because subconsciously your body is telling you not to worry because you are pg?!

Ive just told DH about this strange spotting and his words were "don't get your hopes up!". So much for PMA Mr Salem!!! I am keeping my fx anyway Grin.

Hi ladies,
Lots of catching up to do, even from last night! Loving all the gift and announcement ideas for when we get our BFPs.
FINALLY succumbed to AF today. I'd had a feeling the spotting had been going on a bit too long for IB so I'm keen to get this wee witch out the way and onto the next cycle! Bit concerned about the fact I've had regular cycles up until the last two where I've spotted for 3-4 days before AF has come. Has anyone else experienced/experiencing this?

Aw that's so lovely to hear hippy! Maybe it's the rush of pregnancy hormones making you feel all romantic Wink I do think this is by far the nicest group and I'm so happy that everyone is so lovely!

I ordered a baby grow Grin I wanted a slightly cuter one but it didn't come until Monday, where as this one is Friday and in the spirit of PMA.... I will totally need it for then!

I really feel like I need a visualisation board now.....

Thank you Charley :) yes buy one.... why not :)) and I'm the same ... one month closer attitude is the best approach.

I've got a visualisation board and put images of all the things I want in life on it... I even used an app where you put a picture of you and oh in it to see what your baby will look like ... am I crazy?

Sorry for my silence today - oh and I have been spending quality time together this wk end and have dtd two days on the trot which is amazing for us! I don't mind that it wasn't fw ... I love dtd :))
He's gone to work now so I've spent about half an hour catching up on it all :))

Visualisations are really powerful - and really enjoyable and relaxing :)) I love them.

I am so pleased everyone is feeling chilled out this month and refraining from poas ... so far ... this is marvellous .... It's strange but feeling the exact same ... nowhere near as stressed as I normally i am at this stage in the month and I wholly attribute it to you guys ... I'm really really pleased that you all like this thread and I love the fact that no one gets left out... I feel like I've known you all for years and it's only been a live thread for a few weeks ... I can't wait to see our bfp's come rolling in ... but I don't want anyone to leave so we may have to edit the title of the thread :)))

Aw hippy that's adorable! I'm definitely off to order something now with the positive attitude that I will need it this weekend.

AJ or very quickly becomes all consuming but learning to stay positive definitely helps! I'm adopting the 'the month closer to my bfp' rather than 'another month of not being pregnant'.....
