Ok so I am bravely attempting to set up a new thread for anyone tTC.
Plug in your stats ...
Share the highs of your journey
Limit the lows - yes it's a challenging time but being negative gets you down.
I'm thinking positivity breeds positivity and positive thinking gets positive results -
It may take some of us a little longer than others ... but does that matter? I think not.

New rules - instead of saying af due ... we say bfp due ...

So here goes ... my stats

Hippy that's beautiful!! I'm looking forward to getting a baby ring...we do get one after giving birth right??!!

Bella I'm gonna miss exercise and mostly riding my horse, not sure how I'll get through without my horsey time!! Xx

i have been pleasantly surprised by DH this evening, he's actually connected the dots
now that we are TTC and worked out that if we conceive (fw right now) then i won't be able to have some of my fave things for a good wee while, therefore, i came home from work to this... champs and sushi GrinShock

made me wonder, if lucky enough to conceive, what else will i miss? what about you ladies? x

Awww thanks Moo - sorry I was half watching Corrie so missed your post....
I've had a little cry ... annoyingly oh doesn't understand why ... we've only been together a year and he understandably wants to take things slow and do things in the right order ... he bought my engagement ring last month but hasn't officially popped the question yet.... I hate tTC behind his back but I'm 38 and he's gonna be 42 in a few months so I want to crack on ... I know he'll be pleased when I'm upduffed (after initial shock of course) ... pic of ring attached xxx

Loving your twisted logic Rose ... I've got some frer's but I didn't waste them.... i used a clear blue ... I think they were expensive too but I've had them a while so hey ho ... only used one ... I'll hold out now ... sure I'm out though ...

I read today in that book I posted that vitamin d is good for tTC xxx

I'm taking vit d Rose, it's in with my folic acid tablets, my doctor said it was important too but I can't remember why!! Xx

Ah no hippy :( no no no! Excellent pma though. I'm so so sorry! I hate hearing bfn's but this one really hurts! I hope you have nice plans for the weekend to keep your mind occupied - be kind to yourself xo

Forgot to say I'm 33 so about middilish I guess.

sarah I love nanny naps infront of the fire. I reckon the summer thing might be down to just being in an all round better mood.
Is anyone taking vitamin D supplements btw? I got low vit D come up in my bloods a few months back and I've read it can be a factor in infertility so taking a supplement can help you get pregnant. A lot of people who live in the UK end up deficient as we mostly get it from the sunEnvy

Sorry you got a bfn hippy:-/ I'm the type that doesn't accept a bfn till my AF comes which is why I don't mind testing early, it does get more disheartening the closer you get to AF but some don't get a bfp for ages, so you never know. If Af does come then March is going to be an exciting month!
Talking of testing early I'm tempted to use one of my FRERs tomorrow but it may still be too early, Ovia says to test on the 14th but I think my full af is due the 15th or 16th although I do get spotting before hand so it's always confusing trying to pinpoint my first day. Will do an IC but these FRER things aren't cheap, never actually used one before but must have gone through at least 50 IC Blush I guess itd be more disheartening with a FRER negative the IC negatives don't phase me as I'm more confident they'll give me a false negative (there's some twisted logic for you)

Happy Friday everyone!! I'm so tired I'm off for a nanna nap in front of the fire, oh when did life get so exciting?! On these dark snowy nights let's all dream about the summer, light nights, bfp's and graduating together this year. I don't know about you ladies but I can't get enough of dtd when the weather is hot!!! Is this a phenomenon or am I just weird??!! 😳 Xx

Thanks again for your kind sentiments ladies and your very PMA that I'm not out till af arrives ... but believe me I'm out ... it was a very definite bfn ... not even a squinter ... although it clearly wasn't fmu ... but still I won't be wasting anymore tests and just want the witch to leave my friends on here - get to me and then do one for the next 9 months !!!

Charley if you need any advice about teaching let me know. I did a PGCE so I can help you there if you need it. DH has gone to pick takeaway. My diet is awful at the moment, Ive had a pot of pineapple today and a cup tea. It needs to change!

Ugh sorry about work dolly! Hope it passes quickly for you! I'm trying not to drink so I'm currently having a becks blue. However with all the valentines meal deals and champagne around I'm not sure it will last haha!

Salem I was totally debating a takeaway too Blush I'm doing a BA degree in childhood practices. I always say I hate studying but as soon as I'm done something I end up doing something else haha! Should graduate in June so debating a masters or the years post grad for teaching or something. Not really sure where I want to go to be honest!

Aw hippy! I'm sorry. But as has been said plenty times before, it's not truly over until the horrible witch rears her head!!
But excellent PMA - we're all going to be in the same very fertile boat for March and considering Feb has been a bit of a dud, we're due more than our fair share of BFPs next month!

Aw hippy! I was really hoping for your BFP! But I don't think you're out yet! Still few days possibly before AF would come and not fmu! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed!

My migraine has shifted and my uni results come through all passed! So I've made a nice dinner, lit a load of candles and am going to be nice to dh when he comes in to apologise for yesterday's melt down!

Back in to the positivity and being happy that we all get another month of trying together! Here's to fw and lots of practicing!

I'm fairly confident I'm out this month, the tests are pretty good at confirming bad news in my humble experience...
not going to lie, I am gutted but in the vain of this thread and practicing what I preach ...
I am grateful for ...
My oh, family and friends (including you guys) , the fact we're all healthy,
The chance to get to know you guys even better & graduate with you all
My life - my home, my job and the fact I can afford to eat healthy, go to the gym and afford a few more packs of opks and pg tests ... oh and fucking tampax 😂😂😂

Sooo it's THE WEEKEND wooohooooo!!!! AF needs to do one now, fed up of it and just want to get on with my FW. Have just bought some IC OPKs which made me pathetically excited!

A 12 week old baby came to work today and I couldn't handle it, I metaphorically melted inside!

Well I just caved in a did a cb standard pg test .... BFN ....
So I guess the witch will be making her way to stay with me either tomorrow or Sunday ...

PMA .... roll on March ... spring time ... lighter nights longer days and a chance to graduate with you lovelies xxx

I think I am in the 2ww now. Especially as we managed to dtd last night but DH said he needed a rest today. He isn't as young as he used to be! (34, not 18!).

I am sure I will shortly be joining the symptom spotting tour!!
