Ok so I am bravely attempting to set up a new thread for anyone tTC.
Plug in your stats ...
Share the highs of your journey
Limit the lows - yes it's a challenging time but being negative gets you down.
I'm thinking positivity breeds positivity and positive thinking gets positive results -
It may take some of us a little longer than others ... but does that matter? I think not.

New rules - instead of saying af due ... we say bfp due ...

So here goes ... my stats
Age 38
Cycle 3
Bfp due 14/02

Oh I am so jealous MrsB! I feel like I am running on empty and I've still got 5 more days of it. No idea how I'd manage being pg either doing my job Grin!
Considering your long cycle, could you test today?!

mrsbarnettsbaby · 12/02/2017 09:58

Half term this week for me - wahoo!
Still in limbo. Spotted again last night after dtd. Put a pad in overnight to save my clean bedding. Didly squat this morning.
Testing a week today if no af.
Boobs still killing - only wear a bra when I have to!

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 12/02/2017 09:34

Charley yes yes, I need a November baby ideally due to work. I won't bore you by explaining why again haha! December would be ok, I wouldn't mind that but it's when DH and I got married so I doubt he would be impressed having to buy christmas, wedding & birthday gifts hehe! Anything to avoid being on mat leave during July-August.

Anna I Looooove Italy. We went there on our Honeymoon. I would love to go again petrified of flying whoops. I am on Cycle 4 too and thinking wtf why isn't this happening. I am sorry to hear about your mc Flowers.

Well done Rose for not POAS! Lots of people have been staring at my stomach the past few days. No, I'm not upduffed I'm just bloated LOL Grin.

Hope everyone is well this Sunday morning! 1 more week of work for me and then HALF TERM .

I think your right about the mind and timings, I wasn't really on board with ttc after we got married. Which is why it's not so bad for me now as I do believe I seriously lowered my odds of it happening previously, I mean I didn't even think of going to the doctor about it till recently. The doctor was actually quite encouraging saying I was still young and she's not overly concerned about the length of time yet but I could get a referral if I wanted, but I thought it'd be at least a few more months waiting and there's talk of my council stopping funding for IVF so I thought I best get in the system.

I hope your all proud of me for not POAS this morning! If anyone remembers I mentioned my mum kept staring at my belly last week. I'm off to see her again today so who needs a pregnancy test anyway when I can consult the mum oracle.

Anna I'm jealous about your getaway, love Italy! Hope you have a lovely relaxing time. I think chill out time def increases your bfp chances

Anna2006 · 12/02/2017 08:51

Haha yes we do! We are going away on Sunday to Florence for 3 days 😍 It will be nice for a break an think maybe just what we need!

We fell first time with the mc. So now in 4th cycle I'm like why hasn't it happened yet?! But of course that doesn't mean anything. It's been hard & emotionally we are still trying to deal with it and guess that is affecting things. Trying to be relaxed as possible this month!

Charley2016 · 12/02/2017 08:38

Good morning ladies! Happy Sunday. I've just slept for 10 hours Blush bloody period makes me exhausted but thankfully it's tailing off now.

Hippy I'm so sorry about AF! I think she was just giving us all another month to get to know each other before our BFP Smile

Archie's sorry about your car! Sounds really stressful. Thank goodness you're both ok though ❤️

Rose sorry to hear you've been trying so long. Although like you say, so easy to miss fertile week. I'm sure now that you're tracking, your BFP won't be far away!

Welcome to the group Anna, so sorry to hear about your MC, I hope this is your month!

I'm the same as all you guys, would of ideally avoided a Dec/Jan baby! I have 3 grandparents birthdays in Dec and then me, DH and my brother in January. Me and DH are two days apart and always joked about how funny it would be if we had a baby the day in between! Really hoping that doesn't actually happen haha! So we just all need our BFPs to come this cycle for our Oct/Nov babies haha!

Hippychic79 · 12/02/2017 08:35

I second that Anna ... the hanging about each month is annoying ... I dont want to wish my life away but I just wish this bfp would hurry up! And I freaking wish dp would hurry up and get on board with tTC!
Where are you going on your mini break Hun? That's very romantic ... dp and I are going on a spa break at the end of next month.

Anna2006 · 12/02/2017 08:12

I ideally didn't want a December baby but dam if I am stopping. This hanging around each month is boring enough as it is let alone missing one out. So we shall just plough on!!

Yes we are on the same day hippy! We are away on a mini break next weekend so hope that makes the time go fast to FW!

ArchiesMamaBird · 12/02/2017 08:05

Rose and Hippy thank you both Flowers

Baking I'm in the same boat, DS was born 29th Dec, and at this rate DC2 could also be another Christmas baby. But like you say, it's not like we can just stop trying!

Hippychic79 · 12/02/2017 07:25

Morning Baking - I think we're the early risers in this group ... wish you lived next door ... we could have morning coffee together and you could bring the cookies (I'm guessing by your username your a baking genius and I'm not so hot in the kitchen).
I know where your coming from reference planned birth dates ... ideally I wanted an August baby but that ship has long sailed ... I think December and January are the months i wanted to avoid too but now I'm thinking 'fuck it' what will be will be ... I just want to be upduffed and I'll take whichever month I'm given :)))

Anna -I also meant to say sorry about mc.

Hey Rose - having tried hard to time the tackle for the last few months I can now see how easy it would be not to hit that sweet spot when your blissfully unaware of timings. I think we've been brainwashed from a young age to believe that getting pregnant happens easily if your not using contraception and clearly it isn't always the case. I also think (especially those of us that a little older) have spent years thinking 'please don't let me be pregnant' and our minds have accepted this to be true and have instructed our bodies accordingly ... our minds are the most powerful and strongest muscle that we have. Anyway - like the supplement effects taking time - I think it takes time for our minds to reprogram themselves from 'please don't let me be pregnant' to 'I accept the gift of life within myself'. I genuinely hope and pray you don't need to go down the assisted route Rose. One thing I would like to say is - doctors aren't always right ... I have two shining examples to tell you about ...
Firstly a good friend's wife was diagnosed with a terminal illness over ten years ago and given 6-12 months to live ... she is still alive today! Second story -more relevant ... I met a girl in the gym a few weeks back who I used to hang with when I was a kid ... she was told that she'd never have kids and is currently 20wks pregnant.
Whilst I don't dispute that doctors work miracles every day ... I also know that there not always right.

I use the calculators too :)) I try them all I think there's one on mn :))

Archie's - so sorry to hear you had a stressy day and dented your car .... if your sainsburys car park is anything like mine I can completely see how this would happen! If only they paid more care and attention when planning the car park as they do their store layouts! I hope you have a lovely Sunday and on the plus side - I'm pleased you or anyone didn't get hurt and it was just a dent in the car xxx

Morning ladies and welcome Anna :)

I am a bit more interested in due date this time as DS was born on NYE and not sure I'd want another so close to Christmas, as could get a bit hectic and think this year DS will be more aware of his birthday. But I don't want to skip a couple of months of ttc in case it does take a lot longer this time, so don't want to miss a chance. What will be will be though, so if I end up with 2 born near Christmas, so be it :)

Roseandbee · 11/02/2017 23:34

Sorry you've been so stressed archies, and sorry about the dent! I guess this time it was tiredness and stress. Hope you have a more relaxed Sunday & Fx for march!

ArchiesMamaBird · 11/02/2017 23:09

Hi Ladies. Been super stressed today, was up early with DS and been feeling a bit spaced out all day, then went to Sainsbury's and dented the side of my car in the car park Confused which ironically happened to me when I was about 3 weeks pregnant with DS (if I hadn't just had AF I would swear that I was upduffed!!)

Anyhoo, here are my stats:

TTC #2
Age 25
Cycle 10
CD5
BFP due 11th March

Roseandbee · 11/02/2017 23:04

EMHW im 26th on the NHS one although I think you can't actually use the NHS one too far in advance so I would've used some other random one initially

EMHW123 · 11/02/2017 22:39

Rose I'm the 29th October :) which website do you use? I used the NHS one

Roseandbee · 11/02/2017 22:09

Thanks for the prayers hippy:) I reckon we often missed the fertile window, we were together for 11 years before we got married so we weren't exactly at it like rabbits after.

Just think of you slept through the whole of the 2ww you dtd, sleep, wake up, fmu, bfp! That's how it should work without having to sleep to weeks.

Welcome Anna:)

Btw has anyone starting their new cycle calculated their new due date? That's what I always do as soon as AF arrives, it helps restore my pma. I think my march cycle would lead to me possibly sharing my birthday, I'm a late November baby. I'd really rather have them separate though! Current cycle puts me about October 26 due date

EMHW123 · 11/02/2017 21:35

I second that plan! 🙌

Hippychic79 · 11/02/2017 21:33

EMH - Glad I'm not the only one watching crap boy film .... think I'll retire to bed with hot water bottle in a minute and wake up on cd14... have amazing sex... go back to sleep and wake up when in two weeks pregnant.... how's that for a spanking plan? :))) xxx

OP posts:
sarahboro1 · 11/02/2017 21:33

Yes I haven't been through a 2ww whilst on this thread yet so let's see what happens!! Xx

Hippychic79 · 11/02/2017 21:31

Welcome Anna - the more the merrier. We're in sync ... I'm cd1 too today ... it's a bitch isn't it!!!?
Loving your PMA there Sarahb .... bet we all stay super chilled until the 2ww Wink xxxxx

Indeed Sarah! I love this thread for that reason! Such a fab vibe sparked by hippy! 👏🙌

sarahboro1 · 11/02/2017 21:24

Who would have known getting upduffed would be so difficult EMHW?! But on our pma vein it is already written when we will all get our bfp's so let's chill and enjoy the ride (no pun intended!! 😳).

Welcome Anna!!! Xx
