confused I've been off the pill for years. Bit odd really but maybe oestrogen just not detectable yet. I have had to start a new pack of CB so the 'reader' doesn't know me as well as it did when I used the other one two months in a row if you see what I mean.

If you DTD tomorrow and next day you're still in with a really good chance!

I'm hoping both my and OH illnesses have left by next week otherwise we won't be up for DTD either.

Still loads of EWCM here. I thought it was oestrogen that caused it... but if so why isn't the CB kit picking up any oestrogen and still reading as low? So confusing. Maybe I'll go from high to peak much quicker this month. I'm not going to miss my LH surge so going to test twice a day from the first day of flashy faces (if they come!)

I keep having a stabbing pain in my left breast, only breast tenderness is listed on symptoms to look out for, not full on feel like someones stabbing you, so i have no idea what that is! Had it last night too

parsnips how lovely of you and I'm sure that man is desperate to see his daughter and wife, I really don't know anyone who wouldn't be. There isn't enough humanity in the workplace so ignore your boss, what you are doing is really kind and the world needs more kindness!

Spoke to a few others and we are going to do a whip round and tell the senior partners about the situation to see if they want to contribute. At the same time we will make the point that it would be nice to address the issue in a policy or something for the low paid staff. Hopefully it's not taken badly. My boss thinks I shouldn't be so direct but it's eating away at me. He actually said that the workers have different expectations of spending time with their kids and I shouldn't view it from my perspective - I am so annoyed at this attitude! He says all this while there's a beautiful photo of him and his little girl on his desk!!! 😡😡

Hey ladies. Awk buzz I know what you mean about having to wait but the months will fly in. You'll have so much going on between now and July - it will be here before you know it.

I got really upset today in work. One of our office assistants wife had a baby yesterday - a cute squidgey little baby girl. I was speaking to him this morning to congratulate him and asked when he will be going to visit (baby was born in the Philippines) and he said he is hoping to see her "this year". Basically he can't afford to fly over (he earns a very low salary) and has to wait until he accrues another flight from work. I am so upset for him that he won't get to hold his baby girl. I actually cried while talking about it to a colleague.

A few of us want to do a whip round for him but not sure if it will rock the boat with the partners. It's horrible over here sometimes.

BFN for me this morning, 10dpo and IC but technically late from my usual cycle, anyway I'm not too surprised as I don't feel a bit pregnant and I'm not too disappointed either, I'm more dreading the whole AF to ov wait! But I have a fun month ahead to distract me!
buzz it's very hard to wait once you decide isn't it? I was in hell from July when we decided to start in Jan but I had my wedding earlier in the year and I loved it and am glad now knowing how all consuming this is that I wasn't worrying about ttc during it so it'll all be worth it!
unicorn I do understand your dilemma, but I think this is a strange way of looking at things but it does give perspective, the day you retire from work you'll probably never think about work again but you will think about your family every day, do what's right for you, put yourself first and work will cope!
