Sorry to hear about DH Seven i hope they arn't effecting his swimmers!.. i am also very jealous that you can work from home i miss doing that so much!

Thanks Buzz and Mummy

There could be Dancing i am CD16 today so if no peak by CD21 i am going to stop testing because then i will have tested for the 2 middle weeks of my cycle. It also means i would only really have a OWW lol... i think it is more likely i just have not caught it rather than it being so drastically late though... think even if i got a +tomorrow it could be CD19 which i ov which is a few days late!

Confused I'm sorry about lack of surge. Is there any chance you missed it? Hopefully it will come soon then dtd will be pretty well timed! Glad your dh is jumping on board! :) Have you spoken to dr/nurse re ttc? Hopefully all the what ifs we are feeling are just that, and we can forget about them once we've al got pg!

Mummyme87 · 03/02/2017 08:41

Glad Your DH is on board confused... your peak will come, don't worry.

I did an OPK out of interest last night and was pretty much white, maybe slight colour. I think I get a line throughout my cycle though. Will start OPKing tomorrow on CD8 and expecting a positive next Thursday

buzzmoon · 03/02/2017 08:38

Wahay confused! Glad you dtd!!

Seven0fNine · 03/02/2017 08:38

Good morning ladies,

CD31 here and half way through the tww. Feel very impatient this month. It's strange to think we're fast running out of time to have a 2017 baby!

Glad your DH is more on board now confused. Your positive opk will happen soon I'm sure. Just enjoy the shaggeroos until then.

I'm a bit worried cos DH is on antidepressants and I stupidly read the information and it said can effect fertility. But the doctor never said anything when she put him on them and she knew I had come off my pill so I am hoping they won't!

Off to work with a bit of a sore throat but it's only for an hour then I can come back and work from home for the rest of the day. I love working from home 😁😁

confusedat23 · 03/02/2017 08:27

I know I really struggle with the what ifs Buzz I am also aware that personally I will struggle throughout all the different stages of conception and pregnancy! The things I lack are really important:

Vitamin B12 - Helps with implantation
Folic Acid - Important for early development
Iron - Just very very important!!!!

I know the odds are stacked against me but I know I will (and we all will) put our most into this and we all WILL end up with a baby even if we have to have a little bit of help along the way.

So me and DH DTD last night!... He seems to have had a complete change of heart and was asking me what days we need to do this and when we will find out if it has worked etc.

The only person letting the side down atm is me with no peak/positive OPK!!!! I never thought I would say I want the TWW so much! (Still thinking this is an after effect of the possible chemical last month)

Maybe wait until the weekend to next test so AF has chance to show tomorrow. Glad you're feeling okay though :) You never know... FX

DancingUnicorn · 02/02/2017 22:11

Also, surprisingly not too upset by bfn. Kind of ready for the next cycle to start!

DancingUnicorn · 02/02/2017 22:10

Jupiter only have two tests left! (Bought five last week!) so not sure about tomorrow. There wasn't even a tiny hint of a line this morning!

buzzmoon · 02/02/2017 21:52

Oh glad it's not me! And I really hope it's plain sailing for all of us! Will have a look at wellman tablets!
Those stats are reassuring as well- thanks everyone- feel a bit less mad now!

HeyJupiter · 02/02/2017 21:50

Sorry about your bfn this morning dancing but you're definitely not out yet! Are you going to try again tomorrow? Exciting!

DancingUnicorn · 02/02/2017 21:48

Totally with you buzz. Feel like I've been waiting my whole life to be in this position if trying, and now literally no guarantees it will work, or how long it will take. My oh is really chilled, which balances my stress out nicely, but I sometimes wish we could talk about 'what if'. He says just to come to that if it happens, which is sensible I guess.

I'm still in no af but bfn limbo. Feel super nauseous, which means nothing as also af symptom! Think I hate this more than tww!

HbH04 · 02/02/2017 21:37

Buzz Literally just yesterday, i ordered DH Wellman Conception vits! I don't really have worries about him cos he's super fit and healthy (a good influence on me, who would eat pizza every night if i could!) but thought it couldn't hurt!

Definitely paranoid about having issues, but possibly made worse by reading MN!

HeyJupiter · 02/02/2017 20:54

Oh gosh yes, me too. Worry about fertility all the time. Especially when, like last month, we did everything down to the day that we could and it still didn't work. But even then it's just not that easy. I think we would consider having private testing if no joy by 6-9 months. Not waiting a year to find out either way. Obviously if all is well then we will just be patient but don't want to waste all that time if there is something that could be addressed quite easily.

Wiggleyfingers · 02/02/2017 20:23

Buzz I stress about that too. My DP said before that he wishes he knew for sure he was fertile or knew how long it would take us. This is one of the reasons why we're going to ttc a couple of months before the wedding so I'm hoping that maybe I'll be busy and preoccupied so won't have much time to obsess and become over anxious.

Oysterbabe · 02/02/2017 20:16

Everyone worries about that Buzz, I definitely did and had all kinds of crazy worries buzzing round my head about how my tubes were probably fucked. Chances are you'll be absolutely fine. Flowers

orangefolly · 02/02/2017 18:23

Oh buzz I worry about that a lot too. But I suppose we will transfer our worries to worrying about the baby when we succeed in conceiving! Blush

For the men, I think stopping smoking and cutting down on alcohol and caffeine is a big one, and having enough zinc (in diet or supplements). I also saw an article that said avoid hot baths and hot tubs - shame - sounds quite romantic! Grin

Stress is supposed to be bad for conceiving too, but I can see how that could end up in a vicious cycle when worrying about conceiving!

Tigger83 · 02/02/2017 18:22

Buzz I know exactly what you mean I just keep in mind 92% or people are pregnant in a year, 60% in 3 months 80% in 6 months! It's so frustrating when you know you've done everything 'right' but no luck!

buzzmoon · 02/02/2017 18:06

Been worrying about TTC a lot today for some reason, just have this horrible feeling that we're not going to be able to. There's all the vitamins and tracking and opks and everything for us, but what about our men. What can they do to get ready and make sure their little fellas are in tip top shape? Wish there were SPKs as well as opks!! Don't you have to be trying for a year before you can go to docs? I want to know now that everything is okay! Sorry, just been thinking about it a lot and getting myself worked up 😔

Tigger83 · 02/02/2017 17:32

Getting ready for Zumba at 7:30 I had a crazy panic earlier thinking should I be doing exercise lol the things ttc puts in your head!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 02/02/2017 14:44

Thanks confused yes I'm gonna check out the chart. Thanks for recommending that pack - it's so great for £11!

confusedat23 · 02/02/2017 13:27

Red you are so lucky! I have never seen him... Maybe try for resale? I think that is what I am going to do!

My 1pm OPK was the same as earlier so I am looking more likely for a tomorrow morning surge... I am very happy with that as I think counting the possible CP from last month pushed me a day forward on CD1 anyway and then we will have hit that all important dtd 2 days before OV day!

OP posts:
confusedat23 · 02/02/2017 13:24

Gurumpy If you cound first day of AF as CD1 I would start using them from CD10... That is what most charts recommend for 28 day cycle I think... although in your set of OPK's (I think it was the same as mine) it had a chart in there which said which day to start Smile

OP posts:
TheGrumpySquirrel · 02/02/2017 12:56

Thanks for all the explanations ladies! I had a very faint line a couple of days before AF so I assume I'll have that all cycle until it gets darker. Can't wait to start using them again. So I'll wait a week after AF finishes and see what's going on.

Redpony1 · 02/02/2017 12:14

Confused I can't moan, i have seen him live twice already (after each album release) but not seeing him live after the 'divide' release will be annoying!

& yes, i got paperwhite OPK's, then a gradual build up over a few days until surge, back down to paperwhite again. Not sure if that's typical for me or not, it was my first month ever tracking my cycle.
