Haha with you on that 🙋🏽

Redpony1 · 03/02/2017 14:56

OMG yes! The amount of tissue and a PAD picture the other day too! Seriously! When i had unusual CM i Googled, i didn't burn peoples eyes with a photo Angry

Oysterbabe · 03/02/2017 14:48

Yeah there's no need for that 🙈 A description is enough.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/02/2017 14:45

Omg seven I am with you on that one! Someone posted a brown clot the other day I was like WTAF Confused

Seven0fNine · 03/02/2017 14:03

Awww red and parsnips you sound like an amazingly strong women. I'm sure you'll not have trouble ttc red. You know you can talk to us about anything here xxx (except the only thing I'm against is people posting pics of their cm in their knickers or their af on a tissue asking if it's implantation...There's been far too much of that on MN over the past few days, bleeergghhhh)

Thanks so much Jupiter xx that's such a kind thing to do and a relief to hear. He only started them a couple of months ago after years of anxiety and depression and they do seem to be helping a bit. He's been referred for some counselling too but is on a very long waiting list. We've been ttc since end of July but it's took such a long while for my cycles to sort themselves out that I hadn't really thought much about DH fertility.
I suppose we'll just have to wait and see!

Sorry about shitty work Grumpy

Fingers crossed for a speedy return to your cycles oyster

Redpony1 · 03/02/2017 13:43

Thank you everyone Smile

Parsnips Flowers Mine is on my records i think, as i was GP led and had lots of follow ups at the GP. My dad was so upset but i am his little girl so he came round, my mum however was super proud of me for making a good adult decision. I told my mum and she told my dad, i didn't want him to know.

Hope work improves Grumpy, we spend to long at work not to like it!!

mummy i will catch that on catch up TV, thank you

Mummyme87 · 03/02/2017 13:33

If anyone's at home and didn't see the live show, on itv+1 at 2pm on loose women they are talking about the stress of TTC sex

Mummy I would not want to be a SAHM either, I'd go spare! It would be nice to have the option though... I think I will reduce my hours after baby though, hope DH and I can both go 4 days

Mummyme87 · 03/02/2017 12:33

I don't want to quit work as wouldn't want to be a SAHM, however wish I could reduce my hours. Just not financially feasible at the moment after buying a new house last year, looking to buy a new car, a baby soon hopefully, a year of mat leave and a wedding to plan! I will reduce my hours slightly after another baby but not massively.

I bought CB OPK 😤 Didn't want to this month, but it was on offer!!

Oysterbabe · 03/02/2017 12:29

Sorry to hear about the shitty days at work Flowers I know how that feels and it really sucks.

Exciting about the peak OPK Jupiter. Sounds like you'll have plenty of sperm waiting already but the more the better :)

I'm not looking forward to all the sex that comes with ttc. I'm so tired that once a week is enough for me atm! I took my last mini pill yesterday. No idea when ovulation might happen, it took about 30 days to get a period last time so it could happen in a couple of weeks.

HeyJupiter · 03/02/2017 12:19

Grumpy same this end! So sorry you're having a rubbish work day. I'd quit immediately too if financially an option..

HeyJupiter · 03/02/2017 12:18

Seven just asked our team psychiatrist about SSRI use and male infertility (in a general sense). Apparently there is some limited research to say that it can impact on sperm motility but that it is minimal and completely reversible if your DH did stop taking them. However the impact on his mental health may also impact on fertility so worth bearing that in mind if he did stop them. I work with loads of men on antidepressants who have lots of healthy children.

confused so glad DH on board! Don't worry about your peak, you probably just missed it (or will come today/tomorrow) just keep DTD-ing

Red I'm so sorry you've been through so much. The whole TTC journey must be so emotive. Am sure there is no lasting damage physically and was clearly the right decision for you at the time Flowers

Just got peak OPK at work! Am CD11 so will ovulate most likely CD12 - I knew it would be early this month. Have had 5 days of EWCM and DTD yesterday and two days before that. Definitely will be on it tonight and tomorrow :)

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/02/2017 11:40

Can't say as it's too outing but I'm being blamed for senior mgmt mistakes and it's all a bit depressing. Corporate politics at its best! But they have me in golden handcuffs with a DD in private school who loves her school

buzzmoon · 03/02/2017 11:36

Oh no grumpy! What's wrong??

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/02/2017 11:33

I'm going through work hell right now.. if me and DH salaries were the other way round I would quit today! And I am very career driven so that is saying something Angry

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/02/2017 11:31

Red no worries, glad you feel you can share Smile

I am CD4 now, exciting! AF is almost done!

buzzmoon · 03/02/2017 11:22

Well done on weight loss too!

buzzmoon · 03/02/2017 11:19

Oh red so sorry to hear what you've been through. I'm sure everything will be absolutely fine, maybe pop to your gp if you are really worrying.

confused in the same, I have to be left alone to go to sleep hehe

Went for my smear today, and the nurse was so lovely. She said maybe the next time I see you will be in baby clinic! I was like 😏 How exciting! She also said don't wait for 1 year if things don't happen, we could go in earlier so that's reassuring

Redpony1 · 03/02/2017 11:15

I didn't want to come back & read replies just in case you all flamed me Blush
But thank you so much, i've wanted to say a few times 'i had X symptom when i was pregnant the first time' and things like that but haven't been able to. I still hold no guilt from my then decision, but feel happier i can mention things in our chats now, so thank you again Smile

So what CD are you on now Grumpy?

Annoying about weightgain Tigger, but next week is a new week Smile

I lost 1lb at weigh in this morning, i hoped for more, but a loss is a loss. I remember holding 1lb of fat in a SW class and it was massive! So i cna't be too annoyed.

confusedat23 · 03/02/2017 10:31

Oh Red Can I just pick you up and give you a vertual cuddle!

I bet this TTC thing is bringing up all those emotional thoughts you had put to bed years ago! I am very much pro-choice and what you did was 100% the right thing! I wouldnt think that any of those things would effect you now!! Just know that whatever happens we are here for you whenever you need us Smile

Tigger I am using the lube from boots at the moment, I really like it to be honest. Since taking the pill I have suffered with Dryness down there and wanted to try something to stop Thrush/UTIs etc. This seems to have worked really well for me!

I think he did do the man thing Red although when he came to bed that night he woke me up trying to be all snuggly and I couldn't get back to sleep so I got up and left him in bed... I think this may have upset him enough to stop acting like the spoilt teenager he was earlier in the evening.

Sorry Danicing I missed you earlier, Yes I saw my GP and unforutantly there is very little they can do as I already max out the amount I can take of all 3 of the vitamins (B12 is an injection) so there is nothing they can do pre-conception then they will just monitor me closely afterwards to see how I am coping.

Mummyme87 · 03/02/2017 10:30

Sorry to hear that red as others have said it's natural to worry but so many women have had terminations and go on to have successful pregnancies.

Tigger83 · 03/02/2017 10:12

Red I'm so sorry to hear what you went through. Go and talk to your gp about your concerns, the likelihood is all is fine but they should be able to support you.

I suffered with endo when I was younger, last check showed that the pill did its job and actually retrograded it so it was just a small patch on my bowel, I also have a tilted womb so worry about conception although gyne said there should be no issues.

Zumba was good, hard core but good. Came home and had 2 glasses on wine and because I was dehydrated I've woken up with a stinker of a headache! Lots of water for me today.

2lbs on not surprising but a bit pants however hurtling towards peak ovulation so focusing on that ATM. Need to buy some pre seed or equivalent, can't find it in boots although have seen a different brand, I'm not sure I need it as a lube but a bit worried I don't seem to be producing a lot of ewcm?upping my water content considerably this week to see if that helps too.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/02/2017 09:59

Oh red I really feel for you Flowers the chances are it's all fine, but of course natural to worry. I think more people than you expect have had terminations around that age (I almost did too, actually went to the appointment then chickened out, classic teenage head in the sand).

AF is very brown and light now. So 2 days of heavy bleeding and 2 days of light so far.

I love working from home too but just got told I'll have to rein it in a bit in case other lazier people start doing it a lot Hmm

Redpony1 · 03/02/2017 09:48

Wooop for DH playing ball now confused!! Perhaps he did the man thing and go away & think about things Smile

I'm pretty much where you are seven although this week has gone fast!

How was Zumba Tigger?

I went on a 5k run last night and done circuit training this morning, my legs are empty now, nothing left in them at all!!

Buzz i feel the same.
I have a large confession to make which makes me worry more than normal i think.....

From the ages of 16-20 i was in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship. When i was 18 i got pregnant on the depo injection. Back then i was adamant i would never ever ever have children, hated the very thought of it, even more so that i knew i couldn't be tied to that bf for life. I had a termination (operation not pill) and never once felt guilt for it. BF agreed, he actually took me along to it. I didn't tell my parents although in hindsight they would have supported me (they know now). Back then i was riding 8-10 horses a day for clients. I actually rode the evening of the abortion to keep to normality & stop my mum wondering what was wrong, it was a crazy thing to do. During that operation they put in a copper coil. 6 months later i had a MMC! It seemed i was super fertile but i felt relieft that i wouldn't have to go through another termination. Anyway, eventually my dad caught my bf holding me up the wall by my throat, dad instincts kicked in and he beat up my bf, picked him up, threw him out of the front door in to the road. I never saw him again.

I often wonder if that will change things, i believe the operation is fairly invasive.... & will it be fate that it won't happen now i want it to??
