Confused 💐Hope you are able to do some kind things for yourself. You've definitely had a tough time of it.

Sorry tigger for bfn. Northern lights baby dust must be extra powerful, surely!

Well, I'm pretty sure I must have ovd middle of last week. There may have been a few swimmers still hanging on from the weekend before, but seems unlikely. I need to not symptom spot!!

HeyJupiter · 22/01/2017 09:59

Feeling exactly the same Tigger, only first month but so disappointing. I'm so sorry about the bfn. It just doesn't seem to make sense does it when you put all the work into timing it correctly. But it will happen I'm sure and the magic of the northern lights will make a good conception story to embarrass them with when they're older :) onwards and upwards hey?

Seven0fNine · 22/01/2017 09:49

confused I love that colour, looks lovely. I think you're probably right as they did look positive and moving on is the best thing you can do.

wiggly That bloody ovia!!! She's an arsehole but actually the app I like most for logging/tracking stuff.

mrsc that happened to me. Left the opk for 30 mins and it had a squinty line after being white. They've not got any darker tho yet so still think ov will be next week if there is one.

Had a very naughty saturday. Wine, beer and chocolate was had. Starting again on Monday but on beans for the next few weeks now as skint after xmas and the new car. I find it's much more expensive to eat healthy although I did get a huge bag of carrot sticks for 9p in the reduced section in Asda!!! Lol!!

Heyitsholly · 22/01/2017 09:29

Your hair looks fab confused! Just keep going it will be a faint memory when you have a bubba in your arms!

Tigger83 · 22/01/2017 09:21

I retested and a bfn Sad guess I'm out for this month. Feeling quite sad about it, more so than I thought I would be.

I know it's only first month but it's hard not to worry when you know you did everything 'right' I know it's a long journey and that only 40% of people get lucky in the first month etc and stressing about it makes it worse etc etc i know

My oh is amazing and so laid back about everything and so supportive. I'm really lucky.

Anyways off to Sweden and to the northern lights in Feb so fingers crossed northern lights will spread so baby dust.

Sorry very self indulgent post!

Wishing everyone loads of luck if you're testing and sharing a Winewith those of us whose babies aren't quite ready to join the party yet!

Mummyme87 · 22/01/2017 09:21

Morning ladies,

confused be kind to yourself

7dpo... so if I thought my cervix was high yesterday, it's incredibly high to the point I can only just tip it! Had sharp twinges in groin area all yesterday and evening. Wish I could relax and stop symptom spotting

HeyJupiter · 22/01/2017 08:49

Tigger are you retesting today? Fingers crossed. I tested yesterday and today. Both clear BFNs. AF should be in full flow by this eve!

HeyJupiter · 22/01/2017 08:23

And Mandraki!

HeyJupiter · 22/01/2017 08:22

Welcome mummy08 :)

HeyJupiter · 22/01/2017 08:21

Thanks for the kind words.

Wiggley I love your positivity list, I will let you know of any additions! Sorry you had such a crappy day, I totally understand. It will be your turn soon I'm sure Flowers

MrsC hooray! That's great, ignore Ovia, she's very odd. You might have a slightly longer cycle this month to compensate?

confused thinking of you. Hope you are getting there. Your hair looks beautiful. Be kind to yourself.

So back to cycle day 1 for me. Going to try and be more chilled this month and practice some mindfulness and things. Don't want to keep wishing the weeks away Halo

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 22/01/2017 03:52

Aww confused sorry to hear that. It does sound like you've been through the ringer a bit. Be kind to yourself. I really would caution against super early testing as I think it contributes to these sort of things as you'd never know the difference otherwise (apart from suspiciously heavy AF I guess). Perfectly normal to want to delete all the pictures and try to put it behind you. I think I'd be the same. It's ok to take time to be upset though. Totally understandable.

Just start again fresh this month if you're planning to TTC right away (I thought you were hoping to wait a few months but I may have remembered this wrong). I'm not going to bother with all the tests until missed AF (for the first six months anyway) as I think it just stresses everyone out.

On a happier note, your hair looks fab! Definitely try and give yourself some nice treats to help take the pressure off. Hope you're ok lovely xxx

Hey ladies sorry i have been absent. I've had to think about a lot of things... i've had an awful AF this month it has been relentless and heavy and full of big clots! (Sorry if tmi)... im thinking although i have not spoken to anyone that i may have had a chemical. I have seen a fair few -ve preggo tests in my time and to have 4 tests in total have faint lines (including FRER) and the odd symptoms is just well odd...

So naturally i have just deleted all pictures and got rid of all the tests and i am going to pretend like it never happened and start afresh ( i know not everyone will agree with this)

On a brighter note i died my hair grey today with highlights (see pic) i wanted a big change and so far apart from MIL who said it was green it has gone down well!

To all those using Ovia... just beware she got my cycle completely wrong for first 3 months post pill and is still out by a few days now!

MrsC2017 · 21/01/2017 21:31

wiggly yep usually clockwork.... Very occasionally there is one that throws a spanner in the works so maybe this is one of these! However this will mean only a 9 day luteal phase if I do my usual 26 day cycle which isn't ideal from what I have read! Anyway I'll cross that bridge when I come to it!
Welcome mummy08!

MrsC2017 · 21/01/2017 21:26

unicorn good luck with ovia!! Hopefully she will be kind to you! But don't be afraid to tell her to f**k off occasionally! Grin

Mummy081212 · 21/01/2017 21:26

Hello All!

Age: 32
TTC: Number 2 (DS 4 years 1 month)
Cycle Number: 2 (very ill at end of cycle 1 with sickness bug - feel this may have had an impact)
Cycle Day: 18 of 32 day cycle

Wiggleyfingers · 21/01/2017 21:26

Woo hoo MrsC! Maybe your cycle is longer this month. Are they usually regular?! Happy BD-ing!

DancingUnicorn · 21/01/2017 21:16

Oo, yay mrsc! Hope you can muster some enthusiasm ;)

So I know I will hate Ovia. But just downloaded it anyway!! Urge! Obsessed!

MrsC2017 · 21/01/2017 21:03

Well I took an opk today, glanced at it, negative, swore it would be my last one this cycle! But left it on the window in the bathroom, forgot to bin it! Just came back from dinner and saw it on the window and went to throw it out, and it had two lines...... So I decided to do another one and I don't believe it but it's actually positive, either I ovulated late this cycle or ovia and I do not know me at all! I don't think I'm at a full positive yet but first line I did earlier is lighter than the one I did now so I'm taking that! Everyday is a school day with this ttc business! And I wish I didn't start all the bding a week ago because the early enthusiasm had definately worn off!

Mummyme87 · 21/01/2017 19:43

I hate ovia but still look at it anyway 😑
Lots of twinges in left groin

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 21/01/2017 19:33

Ovia can be so passive aggressive - I got a really arsey email saying "you're not actually trying to conceive are you" which i thought was a bit harsh (although true)! I assume it's because I hadn't put any details in - but still! No AF yet so nothing to report or track!

Great ideas for treats. I'll add hair mask to the list.

MrsC2017 · 21/01/2017 19:19

Oh wiggly sorry you have been down! Pms is so awful and ovia is a real jerk sometimes.... A lot actually! Also I would bawl if I saw a newborn, my ovaries hurt when I see them! You are not alone! Love your treat ideas!! Buying a posh candle is one of my faves and curling up in a blanket with a good trashy novel!

Wiggleyfingers · 21/01/2017 19:16

No one else knows that we are ttc soon so just having you lovely people to talk to who understand makes a world of difference! I really think I would have sulked about his all evening but just venting it out has made me feel so much better. I'm having a scrummy roast dinner and bottle of wine (guilt free) with my DP now Smile

DancingUnicorn · 21/01/2017 19:10

Completely understandable! Just because it's not intentional from them doesn't mean it's not hard for you. I totally underestimated how emotional the process would be! Hope you feel a bit better soon!

Wiggleyfingers · 21/01/2017 19:06

Thanks, the worst part is I know I am completely unjustified in feeling left out because it would never be intention but today it really felt spiteful. They are great friends and they'd be very sad to find out I felt that way. It's completely my own emotions and frustrations that it's not our time yet!

Ahhh Pinterest is awful for that! I have a secret board called Bump full of nursery decor ideas! So lovely though!
