Can I just check red and Grumpy are you both counting the first day off contraception as CD1 but neither of you have had AF or a withdrawal bleed since coming off contraception?

My implant was removed 13 days ago. Still no bleed whatsoever. I saw you can buy supplements to help AF arrive - not sure if that's worth a go.

HeyJupiter · 24/01/2017 12:15

Theres I think that's actually really sensible. TTC brings out the control freak in me and I just want to know what's going on every day when my poor old body has been happily ovulating for years without my intervention!

Red and Grumpy really feel for you both. AF will come eventually and then at least you'll know where you stand. The endless waiting is a killer Flowers All the bloating and twinges must mean something is happening!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 24/01/2017 11:18

Massively bloated, bored and fed up. CD29, another BFN this morning. Going to concentrate on other things now. When my OPKs arrive at least I'll know if I'm ovulating or not. No sign of AF. Have pelvic sharp twinges but they are not like AF cramps.

Mummy did you test again?

Redpony1 · 24/01/2017 11:10

CD49 for me, still having a little cramping but not sure if i'm just massively run down as i still have this stinking cold. Errghhhhhh.

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 24/01/2017 10:53

Jupiter that's what me an DH have planned to do initially once we start TTC. I don't want to have to deal with ovulation dates and charts and opks. Hoping nature will take its course if we just DTD eod and then if not we will look more closely at things.

How's everyone getting on today?

HeyJupiter · 24/01/2017 10:40

Thanks MrsC, I knew it was coming and had two BFNs over weekend. My cycles tend to be around 25-28 days in length so the day of ovulation can change enough to make a difference. OPKs definitely help pinpoint it but even then you can't be sure when exactly the egg is actually coming! We'll get there eventually.

Wondering whether just DTD every other day throughout the whole cycle is a better approach and less stressful?!

MrsC2017 · 24/01/2017 10:29

jupiter aww sorry AF came, make sure your pick a nice treat for yourself now, and it's such a learning experience so hopefully with new knowledge you'll have success this cycle!
tigger best of luck!!

HeyJupiter · 24/01/2017 10:10

Oh yes, mummyme any news?

Good luck Tigger

AF has finally arrived properly. Think I might have ovulated later in my cycle than I initially thought which may go some way in explaining why didn't get my BFP. We're going to DTD every day through fertile 5 days this month so we don't miss it this time.

MrsC2017 · 24/01/2017 09:36

mummy did you test again?

Redpony1 · 24/01/2017 09:24

Good luck Tigger Grin

Busy yeh normal supermarket will have them

OMG i love your nails confused ! Wish i could have lovely nails like that but they'd break and look awful with doing the horses twice a day Sad

buzzmoon · 24/01/2017 09:09

Good luck Tigger! 😘

Tigger83 · 24/01/2017 07:45

Thanks for all the good wishes Grin will check in later to catch up properly with you all x

DancingUnicorn · 23/01/2017 23:53

Hi all. Will catch up properly tomorrow (hopefully) but just wanted to wish you good luck for the exam tomorrow tigger!

HeyJupiter · 23/01/2017 22:04

Yup confused have been using the dual ones. They do suggest you start really early in your cycle don't they. I ovulate between CD12-14 so could in theory get my static peak face on CD11-13 so will start testing on CD8. Think they need to get baseline readings before oestrogen starts rising.. or they're trying to make even more money out of us! You could prob start on CD9 or 10?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 23/01/2017 20:51

Yeah I've been following that thread with the OP who thought she was menopausal.. such a great outcome!!!

confusedat23 · 23/01/2017 20:34

And i just like this kit because if you couldnt tell from all my pre-baby buying i love a bargin lol... the onestep ones are £9 for 50 but they just turned up shoved in a ziplock bag... so i didnt expect much even for the £2 extra and was pleasantly surprised!

OP posts:
confusedat23 · 23/01/2017 20:32

Do you use the dual ones Jupiter?... they are telling me to start from CD8 because of my last cycle being 28 days but i didn't ov until CD15 last month
