EMHW good job oh the sex front! Can't wait to do it with no requirements again haha!! I'm definitely all for no symptom spotting but every time I get to the week before I get determined I'm pregnant! My period also went from 3 to 5 months too this month, although I wasn't bothered as was less time to wait for fw and was more ready to dtd as hadn't for nearly a week!

Mother sorry to see you on this bus, had my fingers firmly crossed for you in Jan bus!

I got a very negative OPK this morning. Hoping it comes tomorrow so that this week hasn't been for nothing!

MissMagpie · 25/01/2017 08:00

Just confirming my seat in the Feb bus after AF arrived ultra promptly this morning, complete with awful cramps running down into my legs.

My stats:
Age 34
Ttc #2
Cycle 8
AF due last week of Feb (varying length of cycle).

EMHW123 · 25/01/2017 07:59

Jeeze good work charley! I'm impressed! Im in the week Pre ovulation so decided to dress up last night and have sex for fun 😂 think my OH was suspicious of my motives 😂

Misty you are hilarious! Cold sores are the new first sign of pg!

I'm determined this is the cycle of no symptom spotting. I'm not doing it. My sanity depends on it. Annoyingly this month I've had a 5 day very light period. I'm normally 3 days tops! Now on count down to peeing on cb ov sticks..... the ttc saga continues..... good luck to everyone in the 2 ww x

Motherhippy16 · 25/01/2017 07:34

Good morning all. I'm crawling over from the Jan bus...I would say hop but after got me like a ton of bricks last night on cd 31 which is my longest ever. Took a hpt yesterday am which was of course a bfn even though I had nausea, painful and veiny boobs, horrendous bloating, runny nose and massive craving for lemonade.

Age 31
Ttc #1
Cycle 4
Cd 2
Average cycle length 28-31 days.
This is my 4th month off noriday which I was on for 5 months and 11 years on cerezzete before that. I am suffering so much on non pill regulated cycles buy it will be worth it! Dh said to me last night we are going to go for it this month Smile as last month I ov late and didn't dtd enough around that point (I think) glad to know he's really on board and supportive (he puts up with so much!) Lots of love to all and fx the Feb bus is a lucky one! X

Charley2016 · 25/01/2017 07:19

Haha thanks for all the facts! Here was me thinking it was only me who felt like I'd died after Wink haha! Well managed another dtd last night about midnight! Bloody shattered haha! But I think we did everything right for once, conceive plus, right positive, legs up, me "dying" after haha! Envying those lucky ones who just accidentally fall pregnant with no planning or peeing on sticks!

We're both working really late again tonight but I'm away tomorrow lunch time do determined to get in another try tonight and tomorrow morning!

passmethewine123 · 25/01/2017 06:33

Hi,

Just jumped off the January bus...can I get a ticket for Feb please?! Grin

Age 27
Cycle 2
CD 1
TTC 1

First day of second cycle for me, last month was a bit of a flop as wasn't sure when ovulation happened, didn't DTD on the right days and used KY lube which I didn't realise isn't good for sperm! This month I'm more prepared, I have started temping, got my OPKS at the ready and also bought some PreSeed.
FX for everybody on the bus Smile

MistyBxx · 24/01/2017 23:07

Literally I was so sure I was pg last month that yesterday i swore I wasn't going to symptom spot again this month. 24 hours later I'm freaking out over a coldsore 😂 in my defence I've literally never had one before! Been with hubby 10 years and my mum obv all my life lol how can it suddenly appear! Annoying little blob 😡
Maaaan this is gonna be a long 2ww lol xx

88claire · 24/01/2017 21:53

I started to think I had morning sickness the day after we first started trying. Turned out it was the prenatal vitamins! 😂

Dollydaydream2829 · 24/01/2017 21:51

Haha the 2ww, where every symptom under the sun that you experience for even a minute makes you think you may be pg. I'm the world's worst for it! I felt nauseous today and started googling 'nausea 4dpo' .... it's most likely cos I did an exercise class after skipping breakfast! Haha!

MistyBxx · 24/01/2017 21:42

Thanks MrsGB, hubs used the last of them last time he had one so I'm smothered in blistex now. Hope it buggers off 😡

MistyBxx · 24/01/2017 21:41

Omg supper!!! That's amazing info!! I love that! You were right all the time Charley!xx

MistyBxx · 24/01/2017 21:40

Thanks Dolly. I have had a lingering cold from after Christmas and New Years and I am the worst when it comes to looking after myself (don't drink enough water, no fruit and veg... I know my unhealthy lifestyle is not great for ttc 😳) but I'm honestly gobsmacked, I had a chest infection and flu last year and was much more ill than I have been recently and I just can't get over that this could be one 🙈
If it was a pg symptom I would of course suck it up and get on with life but at the most 5dpo, I can't see that really 😒
Bloody hell! Now I've got to eat my chow mein with minty cream on my mush 😂
Congrats on the wedding too chick!

Supper16 · 24/01/2017 21:40

Charley In Shakespeare's time 'to die' was a coy way of saying 'to orgasm'. E.g. Juliet says something like she 'died 100 times' during her night with Romeo. And the French call orgasm 'le petit mort' - 'the little death' en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_petite_mort
So really, you were just being super duper clever Grin

MrsGB2015 · 24/01/2017 21:35

I've had cold sores for years, but only got one when I was pregnant (2nd trimester) so it wasn't an early pregnancy symptom for me. Have you tried the compeed cold sore patches, I really found that they helped.

Dollydaydream2829 · 24/01/2017 21:32

Ah, well here's hoping for our BFPs soon Misty! I'm also recently married! We were originally going to wait for a year before we ttc but decided to bring it forward.
That's random about the cold sore. As it's a virus that lies dormant in your system, you've maybe had it for years without symptoms and COULD maybe be down to your immune system being weaker which happens in pregnancy or could be down to stress/illness? Hopefully it's down to the former! You could put up with a cold sore for a BFP I'm sure Grin FX!

MistyBxx · 24/01/2017 21:25

Hi Dolly! Your story is similar to mine, off the pill in Aug but got wedding out the way and only started trying in oct/Nov! And I'm either 5dpo, 3dpo or 2dpo! It's the long 2ww!

Slightly unrelated now girls but... COLDSORES...
My mum has always had them, my dad has not. My hubby has always had them, I have not.
Til today... literally 10 mins ago, my top lip started tingling and this pale ish lump has appeared! It feels like a spot under the thin skin on my lip, doesn't hurt, just feels weird! Hubs got home from work just now and I told him, he was like ohhhh you've got one! I've covered it in blistex (we have loads of the stuff coz he gets them so often) but I have got to the grand old age of 32 never having one in my life, I'm in denial! It can't be a cold sore surely?! He hasn't even had one for ages!
How is this possible!?
And you know what I'm gonna ask next lol... is it a very early pg symptom?!?😂😂😂
I have to ask coz literally, I've never had anything like this in my life and I'm losing my shit right now about this thing on my lip 🙈😂

Charley2016 · 24/01/2017 19:05

MrsGB that's good to hear! He's determined he's going to have problems (unhealthy throughout teens, very high body temp etc). He got the testicle taken down when he was around 5 he thinks so hopefully everything's ok.

MrsGB2015 · 24/01/2017 18:57

Charley my DH has an undecended testical and we didn't have any problems when we conceived our first. Hopefully it won't cause any issue now we are trying for our second.

Dollydaydream2829 · 24/01/2017 18:49

Hi guys,
I'm joining the January bus really late and have been a bit of a silent member for the last little while! I've been keeping up to date with all your news - great news to those with the bfps. I like how supportive and genuinely happy everyone seems to be for each other! Here's my story....
28
TTC #1
Came off my BCP in August however had a little panic and played it safe until November where we actively started to try. Had my first ? at new year when my af didn't arrive on time. I'd been tracking my cycles since coming off the pill and I'm a religious 28day-er. As I'd never been late before, even before I went on BCP, and because I'd been feeling a bit nauseous and a lot more tired, I took a test - BFN. Confirmed to me though that I was definitely all for the baby train as I was gutted. And just shows you what your body is capable of doing to you when you really want something. Also, it was Xmas so I was probs more stressed and a lot more tired due to shift work/parties etc.
So this month marked the first month of using OPKs. I had a positive on CD13 but another one on CD16 although that was a lot more faint. I made sure to BD both these days and have pretty much been following the every other day rule. I'm on either 4 DPO or 1 DPO? Either way, judging by my usual cycles, I should be due AF 3rd Feb. So it's just the waiting game I guess now! Smile

88claire · 24/01/2017 18:19

Roseandbee

I'm glad I'm not the only one who only seems to get dark or darker OPK'S. However I got a new batch and theyre much lighter so it might have been a dodgy batch! Mine was positive for about 2 weeks last cycle 😂

Charley2016 · 24/01/2017 18:16

Rose I'm glad I gave you a giggle, sorry you nearly drowned though haha!

I've been trying evening primrose too but only for the last week. Due to ovulate around Friday I think and havent noticed any yet.

I've been flicking through different forums today and came across one about un descended testicles. I suddenly remembered dh saying something about this and turns out he had one and didn't get operated on until he was 5. So of course I'm now reading about it and freaking out that that might cause more problems!

Roseandbee · 24/01/2017 18:02

Paige I can see lines but your pictures are the best quality, def take another one soon

I'm just in the bath catching up on this thread & nearly drowned laugh at the dies typo & replies lol

Ttcnovice that's interesting about the opks I'm just using the cheap ones, only done two cycles with them so far. I do get a peak abolition the right time but then I'm finding mine are always quite dark or positive for a long time.

Re the convo about EWCM I'm not sure if I get much, I've started to take evening primrose oil, only done a month so far but I kinda then noticed ewcm got the first time so maybe it does help. Btw if anyone's thinking of trying it I've read your only supposed to take it between AF and ovulation

BertieBotts · 24/01/2017 17:46

CM can't tell you much about AF/BFP in my experience. There's no pattern. If you notice something different from what's normal for you, that's probably a good sign.

I have ridiculous amounts of EWCM this month. DH even asked if I was ovulating or something.

88claire · 24/01/2017 17:14

MissMagpie

Mine was thick and white post BFP. I had loads of EWCM before it. I'm not sure what it's like before AF as i've never paid much attention until now.

I hope that helps!

MissMagpie · 24/01/2017 17:11

Does anyone know what your CM should look like just before AF or just before a BFP? I am never sure whether I should get my hopes up or not when I see something.
