Thank you oyster, it's just something you assume will happen and I spent my whole 20s trying to avoid it! One of my besties is pg right now after a 1night stand 🙈 and one of my other besties is on the waiting list for ivf 😔 both the same age as me! It's just scary when you don't know how it will go but gonna stay positive, only been ttc properly since Nov! So got to chill and enjoy but easier said than done lol.
Bollocks, go for it chick, fill yourself up with waiting swimmers lol x

Oysterbabe · 01/02/2017 09:52

I would Bollocks A positive test can be anything up to 3 days pre-ovulation so best to get some sperm there waiting.

Oysterbabe · 01/02/2017 09:50

I think everyone worries about that Misty , I certainly did before conceiving DD. You're still a young woman and chances are you'll be fine Flowers

Ohb0llocks · 01/02/2017 09:48

Dtd last night after very positive ov test. Am I best having a ride tonight too? Done an ov test this morning and it's still strong but fainter than yesterday...

Thoughts?

Bubblegum89 · 01/02/2017 09:08

Well I've woken up this morning and I feel fine :/ no nausea, no headsches, no cramping, nothing. My boobs are the tiniest bit tender but that's it. By now I'd normally have very sore boobs. My cm is still thin and milky and hasn't gone to my usual thick type yet. Other than that, it's as if I'm not a mere week away from af. I definitely think I'm out this month now. If I was pregnant, I'd be getting more symptoms, not less :(

mrsbarnettsbaby · 01/02/2017 08:30

Ah, symptom spotting. I'm now cd50, no sign of AF and I have painful boobs, sensitive nipples, bloating, gas, nausea, occasional blurred vision, dizziness, headache. Hungry constantly, weeing constantly. Occasional diarrhoea. Beyond tired, although full of cold (shared by my lovely kids!) FX everyone.

MistyBxx · 01/02/2017 08:22

It's so annoying blue isn't it. If I wasn't ttc I bet I wouldn't think anything at all 😂 I've decided that if I'm bfn on Saturday then I'm going to do one more month of strategic bd'ing with opk and cycle tracking etc and if it doesn't work Feb, I'm gonna look ahead and make a general note of my fw then just delete everything and have one cycle of just dtd whenever I want lol.
I came off the pill end of Aug and first 2 months I didn't have a clue about tracking or testing or anything and we just had loads of fun dtd all over the place (we were not actively ttc at the time coz I'd just come off the pill and just thought if it happens it happens) but I'm getting a bit obsessed now which I'm sure isn't helping 😳
So one more month trying to do it the "logical" way and then I'm going in blind lol. But if by March/April nothing has happened, I may book a docs appt. I'm 32 and hubs 36, he has one child from previous but that was 14 years ago, and I've never had any form of pregnancy before so it's scary to think what if it doesn't happen 😑xx

BluePheasant · 01/02/2017 08:03

Yep another one symptom spotting!
So far I've had bloating 8-10dpo, was really bad on 10dpo and my tummy looked just like bubblegumsGrin had eaten a big roast that day so expect that made it worse!
11dpo, fatigue
12dpo, irritable, but that could equally be due to a mega misunderstanding that MIL has caused that I'm having to sort out Hmm
Bit of boob pain just in the left side following ovulation but that's stopped now.
Basically, nothing that i don't usually get before period!

Bubblegum89 · 01/02/2017 00:20

I have a lot of the same symptoms as you! My boobs are fairly tender and I'm getting shooting pains in the left one now and again but like you, they don't seem any bigger and no probounced veins are darker nipples or anything. I have sore gums as well, on my left side I've got some swelling that randomly appeared the other day :/ you never know, the stitch feeling could be implantation :) if it makes you feel any better, the vibe I get from many ttc forums and groups is that implantation bleeding is extremely rare and not many women experience it although that doesn't seem the case when you see threads about it all the time! Fingers crossed for you for Saturday Grin x

MistyBxx · 01/02/2017 00:15

Can't win them all bubble, I'd love the cheesy chicken wrap I had for tea to go to my boobies rather than belly but it just doesn't 😂
My "symptoms" (which I've definitely been spotting lol) are:
Sore boobs... started last Thursday and been a steady level of pain ever since (no discolouration or crazy nips though, and had the same pain last month before af)
Peeing more and even in the middle of the night which is a new one for me, but incidentally I have hardly peed at all this evening lol.
Weird stitch-like pain in very lower tummy, with weird fluttering most of the day today but stopped tonight.
Sore gums today (but only on one side, looks a bit like inflammation)
Bloating as normal
Not noticed any cm
NO headaches, not overly fatigued (I'm always tired lol) not emotional, no heightened smell or food aversions, no nausea, and most obviously no implantation bleeding. That's the one thing I'd be like ooooh could I actually be??
Plus I did a test Sunday which was bfn lol so that's in the back of my mind 😂 I know I could have just tested too early but it's unlikely isn't it lol.
Who else is mega symptom spotting right now??x

Glitterbubble · 31/01/2017 23:55

Wow this thread has moved fast today!!

Congratulations to all the ladies with BFPsFlowersFlowers

I'm roughly a Valentine's test too gruffalo!! Fertility friend says test 17th ..Ovia says AF dues 13th/ 14 th

Bubblegum89 · 31/01/2017 23:52

I know, I keep going online to look at other women's bfp's! Seeing that second line gives me a weird satisfaction even though I'm pretty sure I'm nowhere near close to seeing mine! Have you been having many symptoms? I've been having so many but I just don't feel pregnant and I've been pregnant twice and had that feeling of just knowing before I got my bfp's.

And I'm totally for just being happy! I honestly hated being so slim, I've managed to get up to a healthy weight, as in my bmi isn't bordering on ridiculous now lol just seems that all the extra weight has gone to my belly rather than my boobs like I'd prefer! My boobs shrunk as well as my stomach after coming off birth control. Swings and roundabouts!! x

MistyBxx · 31/01/2017 23:43

Defo bubblegum, my sister is very very slim and has always had problem putting weight on, but she's very tall. It's definitely just as hard the other way around! I'm sure you get loads of people saying they wish they had your problem lol but I've seen from my sis, it's no fun! As long as you know what is right for your bod, you need to be healthy and happy :) big, small, who cares! Although slightly bigger means my bloated tum blends in, if you're ickle, may be more noticeable 😂
Just keeping everything Xd for Saturday! It's lush keeping up with everyone's posts and so fab if we could get some more bfps in the next few days!!x

Bubblegum89 · 31/01/2017 23:34

misty 10 is a great size to be! I've always struggled with my weight but the opposite direction! I'm very petite (and only 5'2) and desperately tried putting weight on for so long and couldn't get above 7 stone. Sometimes I'd weigh myself, eat like a pig, then weigh myself again and find I'd lost a couple of pounds!! There's no harm in being healthy though, I have a very manual job so I justify not going to the gym that way haha

Apparently cm isn't a very good indicator of pregnancy as it varies so much but I suppose if you know what's normal for you, it can help! I usually get completely dry after af, start getting wet/clear/watery cm up to ovulation, I don't ever get ewcm but I've heard that's not a bad thing as watery cm is still fertile. I get loads of it on the day I ovulate, then it kind of tapers off and becomes thick and creamy and dries up again before af. I don't tend to have this thin, watery but milky cm anywhere in my cycle but my body likes to be a total jerk and mix things up so I get my hopes up haha! And well hopefully by Saturday, you'll have a nice bfp and you won't have to bother checking for cm Smile x

mrsbarnettsbaby · 31/01/2017 23:27

I am training for London marathon therefore running loads plus gym sessions plus eating healthily. I am slim everywhere except my belly. I look 12 weeks pg!

MistyBxx · 31/01/2017 23:26

Well I've always struggled with my weight, been 8-14 back and fore over the last few years, with a weight difference of 4stone! I lose it fast but put it on just as fast! So I'm used to often having a rounded tum, love food, not a fan of exercise 😂 although I'm sticking to the circuits after getting into it last year and realising that I don't lose it as fast at 32 as I did at 22! Currently cruising at a large 10 (I reckon 11 if there was such a size!) but trying to keep more healthy and the gym as I'm ttc and healthy is better for babies!!
I'm really on the lookout for cm so if by sat I'm still bfn, I may go without the liners next month just to see if I notice anything, I'm not very good at reading my body unfortunately 🙈x

Bubblegum89 · 31/01/2017 23:07

Lol misty I do love my carbs also. Although, today has been a healthy salad, yoghurt and water day. Mind you, I did have a pitta bread too lol I lost weight coming off birth control as I put on about 1.5 stone whilst on it and noticed a huge difference once I came off it. I'll be gutted if my natural hormones have decided I need a little more weight putting on!

Bubblegum89 · 31/01/2017 23:04

Haha motherhippy crazy what your body is capable of sometimes! I've not bloated before, not like this anyway, it's so weird! I don't drink caffeine or fizzy drinks, only water or fruit juice. And I only eat 2 meals a day. Honestly, I really don't think I'm pregnant this time around but if anyone could see me now, they'd think I was about 3 months gone haha I'm so fed up of these "symptoms" I'm considering just giving up ttc and going back on the implant Confused

Coffee3 · 31/01/2017 23:03

Misty liners could be absorbing cm so you don't realise, although tbh mine is very noticeable on wiping too. But none of us are the same so who knows!
I've determined for me the only thing bloating relates to is how much I eat!
I'm a 14 but easily notice the effect of a few big meals close together and water retention if I don't drink enough so I would expect you'd def notice on a smaller frame!

MistyBxx · 31/01/2017 23:02

I don't bloat much but I've noticed since coming off pill (as well as putting a few pounds back on after my wedding lol) I have bloated a lot more and always feels bubbly in there!! my tummy could easy pass for 4 months pg lol and I'm normally a 10-12 🙈 I'm not gonna lie though, I love my food so mine could honestly just be chub rather than bloat lol 😂 but it does harden up week before af xx

Motherhippy16 · 31/01/2017 22:55

Bubblegum since coming off my pill in October I have bloated so much. Same as you usually an 8/10 clothes and my muffin top just gets bigger each month! Have been cutting down on caffeine and having small light meals rather than big ones to try and help with bloating. Stomach gets so hard and uncomfortable!

Bubblegum89 · 31/01/2017 22:43

So I never get bloating as a symptom during my cycle but the last couple of days, I've felt really heavy around my abdomen and tonight I just caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and good lord... I'm a size 8/10 usually, where the hell did this come from?? Anyone else get bloating like this a week before af?

BluePheasant · 31/01/2017 22:32

Who knows Coffee bit of a google seemed to conclude that anything can mean anything, helpful! Grin I knew I would drive myself mad symptom spotting this time!

MistyBxx · 31/01/2017 22:23

Oh I would love some cm unicorn lol I didn't get a drop around ov time, in fact, I don't notice any any of the time. Although ironically, I used to get quite a lot in my younger days, so I got into the habit of wearing one of those carefree panty liners every day, you know the thin little scenty ones? I wonder if that's stopping me see and cm? Soaking it up like? Sorry tmi 🙈 although it wouldn't hide implantation bleeding and I've had none of that and am around 12 dpo so assuming my crampy tum is impending af, haven't even peed much tonight :( x

Coffee3 · 31/01/2017 22:10

Thanks Blue
I think cm dries up before af arrives usually so that might be a good sign for you?
