Officially 10DPO and really not that hopeful. Had full cramps for the past few days and just no AF will arrive bang on time!

Is anybody else surrounded by pregnancy? 4 work friends are pregnant every time I move out of the department I see at least 2 pregnant women or new born babies!

Sorry but of a rant but it's making me really emotional! (Especially when you've just cried your eyes out watching teen mom 2)

ttcnovice · 02/02/2017 20:04

Welcome to the painstakingly looooong tww for this month Ohb0llocks - CD21 (8DPO) here and it feels like forever since O day!

Ohb0llocks · 02/02/2017 19:58

Ov test veeeeeery negative today so assuming I've ov'd

Hopefully will have caught it having DTD a couple of times. Will be again tonight for good measure and sat just incase Grin

Guess that's me in the 2ww

MotherofUnicorns · 02/02/2017 19:10

HI everyone
SOrry you are cramping misty you never know though - it could be pg pains..... You're not out til you're out.
I am feeling similar, cd24 and thinking af will be there every time i go to the toilet! I am going to hold out until sunday. I am away this weekend and i am hoping i can resist taking a HPT with me (if af hasn't appeared by then!)

Welcome Kate! The more the (slightly neurotic) merrier! Misty I have the same...didn't even have a period for about 11 years on the pill and now that all my hormones are natural my body is cramping and aching and being in emotional turmoil from ov to af! X makes it so difficult to know what is what. That's why the link I posted on what to eat during the cycle will hopefully help perk me up and give my bodynamic he nutrients it needs. However I say this as I've got a large glass of red in my hands (tough week...I deserve it! Wink) x

MistyBxx · 02/02/2017 17:18

Hi Kate, I'm 32 ttc #1, you're not alone in the 30+ :) best of luck, I'm cd28 and currently in the middle of massive af pains, but no sign of the actual af yet, but she's on her way lol.
Maybe next month which will be cycle 6 (although only 4 of actual ttc, came off pill end of Aug but didn't start right away!)
Good luck chick and welcome to the fun bus lol

ChaoticKate · 02/02/2017 17:05

Can I jump on the bus?! I'm on CD13 TTC#1 at the grand old age of 34. This is technically cycle 3 but I was away during suspected FW of cycle 1 and had flu for cycle 2 so hopefully this is the month. FW due to start tomorrow and AF due on the 20th.

Glitterbubble · 02/02/2017 16:27

Ha funny, couldn't understand why people were saying Ovia was giving them suggested test days ..mine never says anything... then some one somewhere mentioned the settings

I had mine set to not trying yet!! Sorted it now ...8 days to go

MistyBxx · 02/02/2017 14:48

Me too, that's why I've been symptom spotting so much coz I'm not used to all these pms symptoms, especially when they start at 5dpo lol for 15 years I've had 24 hours of weak tummy pain before a light period... nowadays, pill free, I'm having symptoms every day for about 9 days before the actual af lands!! So confusing... and uncomfortable 😣
Just wanna get this af over so I can start again! Would love to be pg by sept myself, mine and hubs 1st anniversary 😍

Motherhippy16 · 02/02/2017 14:42

Mistyb thanks for that! When I'm in the 2ww it feels as though it's one long cramp and it's horrible! Been so much worse since I've been off the pill. Would so love anew autumn baby as well as it will be mine and dh 1st anniversary end of October.. perfect present (sigh) x

www.parenting.com/article/what-eat-conceive

I found this today and I don't know if it will be of any use to anyone but this has helped me to see what my body needs. I am actually a vegan but I can have tofu substitutes etc but I like the way that it breaks it down. I think what the hell if I'm feeding my body the right foods then maybe my uterus might be on my side this month! X

MistyBxx · 02/02/2017 14:35

Mother hippy I get my opk from Poundland lol £1 for a pack of 5 strips! They may not be the best out there and I did misread them this month but that was more user-error than anything lol I confused the lines but the lines were very much there 😂
Lil update:
My af cramps are still super strong, they're not really cramps tbh, more like one long constant cramp lol running to toilet every ten mins convinced its gonna be there with the next wipe but not a smudge yet. It's DEFO on it's way though, this is more than the "light" cramping they suggest for pg cramps, this is full on pms pain, feel like curling up in bed but stuck at my desk in work 😖x

Glitterbubble · 02/02/2017 14:29

Yes red pony I feel very similar... and went for a swim at gym without issue last night, not been on the pill for years, so don't have that issue... hopefully it's the beginning of something for us! Smile

Motherhippy16 · 02/02/2017 14:21

Hi all...this ttc is a nightmare! Entering start of fw on Sat so dh and I are going to go for it. Am super broke so can't afford opks but think I'm going to start using them next month If no luck in Feb. Good luck to all and sorry for the afs...she has a bloody lot to answer for! X

FrutiFlutey · 02/02/2017 13:57

Just made the decision to try and conceive yesterday!

I'm nervous, ds is 5 so we really don't want him much older before baby arrives! Came off pill today and we will see how this goes!

wishfulthinking21 · 02/02/2017 13:46

MistyB I'm in the exact same place as you. 32 now 33 in September. First time ttc. Hubby already has a wee boy so it's frustrating the both of us xx

harrypotternerd · 02/02/2017 13:27

i was symptom spotting not thinking about ttc at all today and noticed the following:
sore boobs (to the point where it was actually bothering me not just twinges)
frequent urination
dizziness
insomnia
hungry a lot more

MistyBxx · 02/02/2017 13:24

Oh I didn't know that wishful. I kind of want to look into that on google but I'm a bit scared of what I will find. I'm 32, 33 in November and ttc #1 so I don't want to mess around lol Feb will be month 6 for me off pill, but only been tracking, testing and timing dtd since Nov 😑

wishfulthinking21 · 02/02/2017 13:12

Misty I have seen loads recently online about rigiviedon and the struggles folk have after coming off it so would be very interesting to know what it's been like for others. I'm into month 9 now. Had a positive opk most months but still nothing happening. Going to log the next few months n see what happens before going to docs xx

Mangoonmyshoulder · 02/02/2017 12:44

AF got me too Sad only first month TTC though so too much to hope for really. Good luck everyone else.

MistyBxx · 02/02/2017 12:27

2 lines not 3 lol 🙈

MistyBxx · 02/02/2017 12:26

wishful I stopped rigividon (it's the new microgynon isn't it) end of Aug I took my last pill, had regular cycles 28-31 days ever since and been actively ttc since Nov and nothing so far 😔 I'm cd29 and cramping badly today (af due today according to Clue or Sunday according to Ovia) and tbh, I've only had one definite positive opk since I've been testing (mind you, I've been reading my opks wrong and thinking 3 lines automatically mean a positive when it's actually 2 lines identical in colour which mean positive, as we produce LH all through our cycles and it was only by accident this cycle I tested and noticed 2 lines were much darker than normal that I realised that was a true positive!) but would be interesting to find out if anyone else has taken a long time off this particular pill xx

wishfulthinking21 · 02/02/2017 11:45

Been ttc for 8 months. Can I ask has anyone else come off of rigivideon and took ages to conceive?

Redpony1 · 02/02/2017 11:41

Glitter i am 6dpo and been feeling a little light headed yest/today day time. Still managed a 6 mile run last night without issue though. Today my breasts are noticeably tender.
However, my body & symptoms have been all over the place since stopping Cerelle in Dec!

Glitterbubble · 02/02/2017 11:24

Sorry Af got you hhazFlowers

Not a lot to report here... 5dpo ...no symptoms noticed really... but making the effort not to symptom spot.

Maybe I've had a couple of dizzy spells?? ..I question it because it feels more like I'm completely out of it for a few seconds and then back to normal Envy

Been struggling to post the last couple of days as been so busy not had time to catch up on the thread during the day, so waiting until bedtime and falling asleep with phone in hand ConfusedBlush

Good luck everyone due to test this weekendGrin
