Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

Happy New Year! It's 2017 and it's OUR year Star

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Macs - Sorry to hear about your brother, nothing serious I hope? Stress will delay ovulation unfortunately but luckily DTD is a really good natural stress reducer so keep at it.

Flash - I don't want to worry you but I think you have enough evidence to go to your GP. A "rush" of blood after sex doesn't sound quite right to me, even if it is in your luteal phase. It could be endometriosis as that causes bleeding after sex, also (TMI!) rectal bleeding when you pass stools if you have that but I don't blame you if you don't want to divulge that kind of information on here. You are clearly worrying about it though, so go get checked out for your peace of mind. Also, introduce yourself slowly to the supplements. Start on the multi vitamin and then if that goes well, add the lower dose of the omega capsule and you can increase it later if you feel like you want to. Don't take everything all at once like me who then had to deal with a painful acne breakout.

Pyjamas - You are truly an inspiration with your fuck it days, I hope you enjoy it. The whole of December was a fuck it day for me but once I'm back to my disciplined ways, I'm going to do this too.

Kwick - Lovely shed, 10/10 as far as sheds go. Though truly, I can't wait for you to send me some healthy, organic green veg - you'll save me so much money. Grin

Hep - I hate smears! Isn't it funny how we have to plan all this stuff in and around our potential pregnancies? Your disclaimer about not being a Doctor did make me chuckle, good advice though.

Welcome Sam, Poppet and welcome back Charley.

Sorry to anyone I missed!

Well I had an ultrasound at the hospital but it was difficult for them to see because any water I've been drinking has been going straight through me. It did look like I'd ovulated though but its rare for them to be that painful. The Doctor said that if my fallopian tubes are a little bit gunged up then when the cyst ruptures or a large follicle ovulates, all that matter has to squeeze past adhesions in my tubes causing friction. He asked about my lifestyle and whether I'd tried anything differently whilst TTC and I said about my new diet, the Yoga and supplements and he said that perhaps the matter in my tubes is loose or breaking apart because of that hard work. No pain, no gain and all that.

He also said that the HSG will be very good for me, should clear up the tubes massively but he told me quite seriously that it will probably really, really hurt especially after two potential cyst ruptures and whatever else is going on inside of me.

Was nice to read all your messages on the taxi home, thank you - don't know what I'd do without you all xx

jam Still no AF, BFN yesterday with a FRER. I think I ovulated a week late though although not entirely sure... so it would probably mean period this weekend instead. I'm waiting to see now how my body behaves. I might test again this weekend with a FRER if still no AF.

Pyjamas81 · 09/01/2017 18:13

Well apart from shit mood, but am blaming twats at work!

harrietm87 · 09/01/2017 18:13

Shit skipper that's so so awful. Big hugs to you and get well soon.

Pyjamas81 · 09/01/2017 18:10

Ok fine, DH for me it is kwick - hurrumph!!

I'm 10dpo hep and also completely symptomless - could we have actually found TWW zen?? Could it be?!

Fx for you charley - hope AF stays away!

kwick · 09/01/2017 18:00

flash may I offer you kwick's Cake? Sorry I am so pants at handing out! could be that I am not entirely sure when I am supposed to or I am just terrible at recognition

Welcome charley!!!

I DO NOT want to share pyjamas!!!!
On a lighter note - sorry you have twats at work!

I usually download Eastenders and watch when I travel, but seeing as I will not be travelling so much for a while perhaps I can start to watch live Shock

Londonjam · 09/01/2017 17:59

Thanks gee that definitely helps and you're right - all it takes is one. I just hope it hurries up!

Orange! Are you testing yet? Hope af didn't get you.

Charley2016 · 09/01/2017 17:38

Hi everyone, congrats on all the BFPs and FX for all those still waiting to test. I was on the boards a lot last month but I got really down when AF arrived so I decided to have a month off. I'm now due AF tomorrow and keeping my fingers crossed she stays away! Tested this morning with an IC as I've been feeling strange all weekend but BFN so far, although I think I O'd a few days late! Didn't OPK this month and if I did O a few days late then I hadn't BD for a few days before so I'm kind of going between thinking I may be and thinking there's very little chance. Only time will tell I suppose

Flashinthepan · 09/01/2017 17:30

I do love cake! hep maybe you've found that enlightenment and calm we're all aiming for and are just zen in your 2ww.

MissyJones83 · 09/01/2017 17:27

skip sorry to hear you've had a completely rubbish day. I hope you figure out what's going on soon, did they give you any tests or anything? What do they think it is the cyst thing? Hope you feel better soon Flowers

HepKestrel · 09/01/2017 17:13

flash we have kwicks cakes....

I am 8dpo and completely symptomless.

Flashinthepan · 09/01/2017 17:12

That should say poas not possible.

Flashinthepan · 09/01/2017 16:58

I've just been to boots and bought their conception vitamin with b6 plus some.omega 3/6/9 with evening primrose oil which I will only take until I ovulate. In the interests of staying positive I have also bought frers which I will not use until I miss a period! Does anyone hand out rewards like starkys stars for not possible?

Pyjamas81 · 09/01/2017 16:57

Oh skipper - how horrible! Hope you find out what the holy hell is going on soon 🙁 Did they say what they thought it could potentially be?

We can share him kwick - DH won't mind 😂

Am in a foul mood today - either a sign of AF approaching this weekend or people being turbo twats at work - probably both!

OrangeCloud18 · 09/01/2017 16:43

Oh no skipper, I'm sorry I hope you feel better soon! Did they say it was a cyst or do they not know ? Sending you hugs Flowers

I'm glad I am not the only one watching Eastenders... OH was the one watching it first and made me watch it x)

Miranda234 · 09/01/2017 16:41

FlowersFlowers sk1pper take care of yourself

HepKestrel · 09/01/2017 16:32

skipper Flowers that sounds awful !
take it easy at home and stay away from work

I prescribe* [beverage] and Chocolate, (warm) feet up on the sofa and really bad films.

Hope you get answers soon.

*not a doctor

Musicgrrl · 09/01/2017 16:17

skipper how awful! You're a bloody trooper for working through your shift like that but please take care of yourself! Hope work is good to you now and gives you some time to recover. Did docs make any conclusions from their observations? Rest up my lovely! BrewCakeFlowers

kwik love your observations re love actually and jack in eastenders. I'm with you on both.

Flashinthepan · 09/01/2017 16:13

Oh god Kwick that scene makes me want to throw things at the TV. 'Love Actually' is one of my favourite films, me and DH watch it every Christmas, it's tradition!

kwick · 09/01/2017 16:10

Poor you sk1pper Flowers well done for sticking to your guns on not giving permission. Did they scan you? What are the next steps?
Please take it easy and take care.

May I just say if that was me with Rodrigo/Karl in Love Actually I would not have answered the phone!

Kathrino · 09/01/2017 16:10

Oh sk1pper, you poor thing. That sounds terrible and must have been so terrifying for you. I hope you're able to rest and recover at home, take good care of yourself FlowersFlowersFlowers

geeup · 09/01/2017 16:10

Oh god skipper you poor thing. I'm so sorry you're going through such a traumatic time - it must be really scary just not knowing what's going on. I do hope you feel better soon and they can get to the bottom of it.
Samram - sorry it's taking you so long. I'm on cycle 21 and hoping to start IVF in March so understand a bit of what you're going through. There's a few of us on another thread called something like Trying for 18 months, considering IUI/IVF/ICSI which you may find helpful too.
Glad all still going well Alexia, Kwick, pug (and anyone else I've missed).
Hi jam - Flowers I understand the frustration re OH having a bender. I have no advice except everything you've done (talking through) but I have to say I'm kind of resigned to what will be will be. I don't know how much drinking and caffeine etc really makes a difference. I just think with low morphology it's just the way it is and it's hard to change. You just have to hope for one little swimmer that can make it against the odds. I hope that helps and doesn't upset you - I just mean try not to stress over what may or may not help or hinder. Don't let ttc come between you and your OH and ultimately friends and family. Stay strong lovely lady.

Kaydee2017 · 09/01/2017 16:06

So sorry skipper, hope the pain subsides soon and you're able to rest Flowers

Londonjam · 09/01/2017 15:53

Oh skipper you poor love, what a scare. Was it a cyst then? Please take care

Flashinthepan · 09/01/2017 15:53

Skipper so sorry to hear you've had such a crap day! Glad that they've ruled out certain obvious risks but awful that you've got a fractured wrist on top of it all!
