I'm imaging this one as more of an Eeyore stick hut type thing. Maybe Eeyore is actually still in residence.

I think the Firth is all worn out now, and I hardly even spoke to him. Beansprout just grabs him every time he's anywhere near. S'not fair.

ushers in a Bill Nighy to distract Beansprout

Yeah, I'm feeling more chipper today, so I was only going to grab a few cream cakes and scarper...

S'only fair, I did bring a gagged and bound Colin Firth in for the gals last night

beansprout · 22/02/2007 19:29

Ooh, make that two please.

feedmenow · 22/02/2007 19:18

Sod, sod, sod, sod, sod! I HATE waiting....for anything! OK< so I know where I am in my cycle and now I have to wait for a week til we get seriously down to business for a week, then I have to wait another 2 weeks. It's just all about waiting isn't it! Tell me, are there REALLY any couples out there who HONESTLY just sgah when the mood takes them and who SERIOUSLY don't stress about ttc. How can anyone be at all calm when it's soooo frigging "exact", and are there really women who get their period and aren't gutted?
Someone answer my questions...(and while you're at it, could you bring a huge chocolate fudge cake - warm of course - with them thick whipped cream?)

Fingerscrossed2007 · 22/02/2007 18:48

Ready, what are you doign in here! Surely not simply after the cakes!

Ready · 22/02/2007 16:03

Did someone say "cream cakes" ??

lissielou · 22/02/2007 15:46

oooh yeah please

Catbabymummy · 22/02/2007 15:43

That'll do me, highly appropriate too...
Now who's for rum cocktails and cream cakes?

plummymummy · 22/02/2007 15:03

catbabymummy can't bring myself to say ftc -rather jinxing How about fttc (fucking trying to conceive)?

Catbabymummy · 22/02/2007 14:17

As long as no-one kicks my kitty. Only I'ma allowed to do that when he is being naughty.

beansprout · 22/02/2007 11:02

There's really not going to be much of him left I'm afraid.

feedmenow · 22/02/2007 10:58

Bagsy I don't get sloppy seconds with Colin!!
Or has he gone already.....?

lissielou · 22/02/2007 09:05

beansprout, so schlurping please,

beansprout · 22/02/2007 08:56

There, there, you come with me, lets make you feel better.. >

beansprout · 22/02/2007 08:08

Thanks Plummy. Dh had a terrible time with his dd yesterday (she is 19 and angry). He needed to kick the cat when he got home, but we don't have a cat, so I copped it instead. So all in all, was feeling pretty grim by bed time.

Owl - deffo a drinks party tonight. I'll help to organise it and EVERYONE is welcome!! Hope your dh is ok.

Catbabymummy · 22/02/2007 07:03

Just seen your message Owl, hope your hubby is okay and it's nowt serious.
I think my week is slowly starting to get better, dealing with the disaster at work now.
Got a 'phone call from a customer at 9pm last night complaining about lack of paperwork for a load that came in last night. Just b*dy great .
So how are we all this morning?
BTW Plummymummy - surely that should be FTC! Afterall there are TTC threads a plenty, though admittedly they are all happy & fluffy and full of the dreaded baby dust...

LatenightOwl · 21/02/2007 23:37

Hi, sorry for not popping by earlier (must admit I have been lurking outside the door but kept forgetting to bring a hut warming pressy) [LNO drops of big welcome to our New Hut Card - home made - and potted cacti - to put near door for Troll to fall over

Can't keep up the pace of your conversation - must be my age showing - so varied and rich! Thats what makes this hut so great all those true feelings rather than crappy pretend jolly stuff that is fine for first month TTC but would like to see the genuine article after 6 months! By the time you get to my number of cycles (lost count but somewhere in the 70's - was never good at maths)cant muster up the energy! and the hut suits me Just Fine.

LissieL - so sorry to hear of your loss and then subsequent NHS blunders - sheer nightmare - makes me shudder - (hands LL a virtual bunch of early Daffs to be enjoyed outside of the hut though )

Would love to stay but feeling pretty stressed out at mo (DP still has sore Bollock and now has a scan tomorrow - so worried about a possible C word and cant concentrate on nowt) Will pop back tomorrow night - heard there may be a drinks party? is this true?

plummymummy · 21/02/2007 22:19

I know beansprout

beansprout · 21/02/2007 22:07

Lordy. I'm just getting it all wrong tonight! I didn't say she had caused offence, I was just trying to gently steer her away from doing so. Sorry and all that.

lissielou · 21/02/2007 21:51

lol

plummymummy · 21/02/2007 21:49

duchesse.

duchesse · 21/02/2007 21:44

And can someone please tell where bloody blowflies come from in bloody February? Although twas practically Spring today...

PS: When I said I'd cleaned up troll effluent, I just meant the dropping I'd left yesterday in my profile, and that YummyMummy reminded me of, in case anybody were misconstruing.

Bad days are our business, plummy. We're all a bit "snarky" quite a lot of the time. Comes with the territory. I think that our lovely wellwishers remember what it felt like, or they wouldn't be here in the first place, wishing us well. I hope they will forgive us our snarkiness, even if it is excessive sometimes... [ bunch of flowers smiley ]

Read the last few messages Ready. I also feel I should apologise for my venom as I'm having a bad day and probably shouldn't say anything until I can make a measured response.

Ready · 21/02/2007 21:32

What did I miss? Who gave who a hard time??
