I'm imaging this one as more of an Eeyore stick hut type thing. Maybe Eeyore is actually still in residence.

What we need is the Random Profanity Generator . Enjoy.

Beansprout, there's plenty of Alcy-hol to distract from the Code Red.

I was feeling pretty shitty yesterday, as always on Day 1 - straight to KFC, but that's just me and my emotional eating!!

Impatience · 28/02/2007 12:16

Oh no, beansprout, poor you. I can't think of anything to cheer you up. I hope it wasn't that smoke I passed you in the tent that brought this on.

Want another one?

beansprout · 28/02/2007 11:51

Period has arrived, again. Am sitting at work, trying not to cry. Help me please!

sideways · 27/02/2007 23:19

Go ahead LNO.

Any news on the bollock?

LatenightOwl · 27/02/2007 23:16

(LNO flutters in, and collapses in the squiggy chair in the corner - grasping a bottle of nondescript alcohol and is taking large swigs)
How come, when you dont want AF to come shes there right on the dot and then, I need her to be on time to start my IVF treatment nowhere in sight! This is so unfair folks - and no, no chance of BFP cos no BDing for over 8 weeks due to DP sore left bollock. Do you mind if I just get sozzled quietly in the corner and not interact?????

Catbabymummy · 27/02/2007 21:20

LOL, you can't get pg that way
Aww hope your dh is still wrapping you up with cotton wool.

lissielou · 27/02/2007 20:08

yes, still hurts like buggery (not that i know, it just sounds cool)

Catbabymummy · 27/02/2007 19:47

I feel a bit better now. I just that the nurse was very tactless.
The fact is my period did arrive, I had a BFN at the hospital at my final scan which showed my uterus was back to normal and I'll just keep hoping that I'll be ovuilating any day now!
How are you anyway? Is the bruising starting to fade?

lissielou · 27/02/2007 19:40

oh catbaby.... (but a v english 1 without eyecontact)

Catbabymummy · 27/02/2007 19:30

BFN! Not unexpected though, guess hubby and I should keep shagging

Catbabymummy · 27/02/2007 14:10

Aww thanks everyone, you are all lovely!
Chocolate fudge hemp cake and banana daiquiris for everyone.

Impatience · 27/02/2007 13:39

can I cross my toes for you instead, so that I can keep posting

beansprout · 27/02/2007 13:20

My fingers are crossed for you too

Catbabymummy · 27/02/2007 13:17

Thank you, I think I need it...

lissielou · 27/02/2007 13:15

oh fingers crossed for you babe

Catbabymummy · 27/02/2007 13:14

Well I do have my many pg test sticks, I was going to save them for a couple of week as I had assumed that I would ovulate a couple of days either side of this coming Friday, but what the nurse has said put me in a bit of a spin. The thing is I have had sore breasts last couple of days, odd cramps and slight back ache that could indicate I may be ovulating now.
I'll probably do another home pg test just to satisfy myself, but just don't know what to think. Especially as my last period was lighter than usual. The weird thing was, just before my period started I had a feeling I was pg and was all set to test the following morning, but then it started that evening so I never bothered.
Agggghhhhh!! Wish I had a test right now...

beansprout · 27/02/2007 09:45

What will you do Cat? Agree, very confusing. It's really not something you can just do and not mind either way. How horrible for them to raise your hopes like this.

Mumpbump · 27/02/2007 09:15

Catbaby - I have heard that you can be pg and still have a period... I should think it's fairly rare, but you never know - sorry to bring a ray of hope into the hut!!

beansprout · 27/02/2007 09:13

Sorry for radio silence. Dh has taken the friggin' laptop so have no computer access at home. Fortunately, I am at work now and have not read the IT policy

Can't post much but have read everything you have all said. Am due on today/tomorrow-ish so will no doubt be back in here looking for tea and sympathy, very shortly.

Catbabymummy · 26/02/2007 21:46

I know, just very confused... but resolved not to worry about it.

lissielou · 26/02/2007 19:29

catababy... why do they want you to do another test??? they really do live in another world dont they!

impatience... lol, i think thats how we all imagine it, but they lied!

Impatience · 26/02/2007 18:46

Mumpbump were you in our NCT class? The stats were exactly the same! We were (very luckily) the only non-intervention birth. A homebirth indeed, which was beautiful and straightforward and just perfect. My medic friends went bananas when they heard we were planning that but we believed birth is a natural thing, and we're v close to a major birthing hospital so felt the backup was there. Now I think we were very lucky indeed: I have heard so many horror stories since ds was born! If dp gets pregnant again (see me really not believing now that it'll ever be me...) I should rationally think that her healthy pregnancy and birth the first time round would make her a good candidate for another, but actually I now feel that we jammily got away with the first one and we'd be idiots to take that risk again!

It's a shame really. I always imagined giving birth in a field somewhere, feeling the sun on my back and hearing birds and the kindly eyes of does and rabbits as they identified with my amazing act of female nature. I am obviously delusional.

Catbabymummy · 26/02/2007 18:36

I've just heard back from the EPAC, they've got the histology results from the sample they took from me when I had the internal exam during my m/c, whe went into this long spiel about why they did and I was scared sh!tless she was going to tell me they found some horrible thing that mean there was something really wrong, and it turned out that it wasn't tissue they sampled and they wanted me to go in for a PG test! FFS, what the heel for? Anyhoo, I told the nurse that rang that I had my period last week and that dh and I were actively ttc, and that i'd done several pg tests with were all neg before period started.
No way am I going to want another test not, wtf would be the point???

lissielou · 26/02/2007 17:49

that would be v good thanks. my boys are ok ta. youll be ok hun
