I'm imaging this one as more of an Eeyore stick hut type thing. Maybe Eeyore is actually still in residence.

Oh MrsMc I am so sorry. How horrible, poor you

Describing your feelings as 'a bit low' is surprising: If you're trying to put a brave face on that is absolutely unecessary in here. Make yourself at home, fall apart, get wasted and don't for a moment worry about harping on about your own troubles. I'm so sorry you lost your baby.

plummymummy · 09/03/2007 17:10

So sorry Mrs McJunior. I remember you posted on another thread that they had said you were small for dates - was that you? I hope you manage to get some rest so you can recover before ttc again, though many of us (including me)are trying again without a break.

MrsMcJnr · 09/03/2007 16:43

Ladies, thought I'd pop in, hope you don't mind, so much time has gone by (or so it seems) and I can't catch up which is very selfish but I'm feeling a bit low as I've just lost my baby I had a scan this morning and they confirmed that I'd had a miscarriage (I'd had a huge amount of bleeding and pain). I was 10 weeks. Hoping to try again asap but exhausted by the thought of going through that all again. Silver lining is that it was a complete miscarriage so it's over.

Impatience - I'm sorry to see you still here hon

Impatience · 09/03/2007 16:10

Thanks soreheart. Will definately be drinking tonight.

Soreheart · 09/03/2007 15:59

I am making such a mess of posting today. It's ridiculous.

Impatience, ARSE and ARSE, was feeling positive about your lines. Just was. So have a beer and chill for now.

Impatience · 09/03/2007 15:33

I think you can all stop crossing yourselves in suspenders () because I think this spotting can now be called a period

And yet this is the point at which I remember all those tales of people having periods while pregnant, and so I remain in awful tiny hope, knowing that doing so is setting myself up for increased misery as I feel foolish to boot. Sound familiar?

Delusional thoughts of the day:
If I can make my eyes believe I see a line I will be pregnant.
If I can get away with using just a liner I will be pregnant.

duchesse · 09/03/2007 13:49

Beansprout- if you do want to try that device, don't buy one! I can send you ours, bought by a friend who objected to our vacuuming flies from the air in the kitchen (we live next to a dairy farm). Strangely enough, it doesn't work on flies, who I believe do not hear the same way as mammals do.

Beansprout, try this for your mouse problem

Soreheart · 09/03/2007 13:39

Impatience!!!

Curiously, you are showing a MASSIVE amount of patience. Which I don't have. Argh. How could keep us all in suspenders?

FFS they are playing 3 Times a Lady on the Radio. I NEVER liked it and today hasn't changed that.

BTW, have missed FTC moment this month as DP was away. Am feeling miles away from being a mother.

I'm bringing those chocolate / pastry things they do in Cafe Nero. They are on the table.

duchesse · 09/03/2007 13:24

What you need is one of these then.

Now try to get that sight out of your mind.

I would think about a month should do it. Are you in town or country? The problem is always food accessibility. Moving out is a risky business for a mouse, so you have to make it really worth their while- ie make sure they haven't any food anywhere near their dwelling place, and introduce danger in the shape of that poor unfortunate moggie.

I'm utterly allergic but would consider it if it really was the answer. How would it work though? Would we just need to keep in indoors for the duration? How long would we need it for?

duchesse · 09/03/2007 13:14

Impatience, what Beanprout said.

duchesse · 09/03/2007 13:13

Beansprout- can you borrow a pusscat? That should encourage them to move away... The council were bleddy useless in getting rid of our rats... Although they did manage to to murder a few (protected) dormice in the process.

beansprout · 09/03/2007 13:10

Impatience. I'm with you every step (and line). I have so many things crossed for you, it's untrue.

beansprout · 09/03/2007 13:10

I have mice in my living room. Not just evidence of the fckers but the actual fckers. Am really NOT happy. We live in a small flat so there isn't anywhere else to decamp to. Council have been round and not sorted it, and it's getting worse. Am a very unhappy bunny today.

Cake please.

sideways · 09/03/2007 12:48

Impatience - you're killing us here .

Beckle - I just made cakes too - forgot the has though, so will pop back for a bit of yours later.

becklespeckle · 09/03/2007 11:57

ahh, no-one here yet - off to make some cakes now - will make some (virtual) hash ones and pop them in later when there are more people about...

becklespeckle · 09/03/2007 11:28

Hello?

Impatience · 09/03/2007 11:06

Pepperpots, perhaps it was a real witch and a real spell. Perhaps it'll work! All this power-of-the-mind stuff, why not believe it will work and see if you can placebo yourself into a bfp!

Impatience · 09/03/2007 11:04

Morning girls. I still have no idea whether I'm pregnant, although I still don't really believe that I could be. I feel like my period's trying to start and have had a fair bit of spotting, but no proper bleeding yet. But that's not unusual for me: My womb seems to need a day of limbering up. But I did another test this morning and there was a very very (ie, eye-aching) line that appeared within the 10 mins, although I'm not sure whether it was pink or grey. Ie, could still be a bloody evap line. We were very good and actually threw the thing away at 10mins. Oh, ok, at 11.30 mins. But the line was there well before 10. On the basis of feeling damp and having bits of spotting I'd say not pregnant. But these myserious lines threw me into disarray. Oh, ok, like I wasn't already anyway and haven't been for the last 3 years...

Aaarrrgh!

beansprout · 09/03/2007 08:33

Lots of sympathy for anyone who is having to endure details of other people's scans/bumps etc.

Am still utterly fed up. Now have a motley bunch of would be methods for spotting ovulation - opks (yes, Atilla, I know they are based on a false premise, but whatever gets you through), a thing to gob and spot the ferning and of course girls, an unhealthy level of interest in how far any given bit of CM can stretch.

And am I pregnant? Am I f*ck. And naturally, just in the bit of the month when it matters, I'm not sure if I want to be.

Arrrgghhhhhhhhhhhhh

Catbabymummy · 09/03/2007 07:25

Yes, they have their hypothalamus removed, methinks....

The problem with my company is various functions such us our accounts and IT departments have been outsourced to our sister company. And to be fair to them, they are severely under resourced. Plus they tend to serve our sister company first before us. It's totally shit!
I should take a leaf out of Dilbert's book and threaten thme that if they don't get my broadband link frixed to day, there will be a "plague of locusts o'er the land"!

plummymummy · 08/03/2007 22:40

Mumpbump I have been trying to fool myself that stress levels are unimportant. I mean ffs if women can have babies in war zones surely I can manage. However, I am now being confronted with my own delicateness dammit. Inconvenient and humiliating. I think I may have to investigate the basket weaving market for alternative employment. Or maybe I could be one of those "the computer says no" customer service people. They never sound stressed, just lifeless.
