Getting ready for baby challenge

I'm fine with 37 weeks I think lol! Seriously though, will just be glad to have healthy baby. With DD I was so worried for her that I wasn't scared at all of pain or anything for me, but I had a very easy and quick labour anyway (unusual for first babies) - I'm hoping this time is just as fast!

First cycle off pill and used clear blue dual hormone OPKs - know I should have resisted. Today, it's gone from low fertility to high. Yesterday had a little bit of stretchy discharge. Could it be my body is doing something!!?!

Theres woo on all the good news!! So exciting that you will be able to get on with it so much sooner!! :) And huge boo on the cost and all those associated bits!

Fingers crossed for everyone going full term this time!!

Oyster yes I'm worried about that too. Im pretty sure my early labour was caused by (my) stress, so will be doing my best to chill out and not have that kind of drama in my life this time (can't really say what happened as it's too outing but family issues).
My DD was just under 6lbs so large for the dates and didn't have to go to NICU thankfully - I'm pretty sure my dates were wrong. Sorry to had to go through that. Fingers crossed we get straightforward deliveries this time!

Tea that's so exciting! Well done, must be nice to have it out! Does progesterone make you gain weight? I never really noticed but maybe it will be easier to lose it now.

Ouch There's! On the removal and the cost! Go treat yourself now :) eat ALL the chocolate and drink ALL the tea :)
So excited for you though, but hope you don't have the same bloating as me, I still feel awful this morning!

I am very worried about the next one coming even earlier. My waters broke during the night, contractions started 12 hours later and she was born 4 hours after that. Afterwards I said to DH "that was easy, I don't know what all the fuss is about" 😂 She was only 4lhs 13 though and had to be in NICU for a while for a few reasons. She's fine now though.

There's that's so exciting! So pleased the doctor said you can crack on! Yay!
Good luck with implant removal, I remember mine was quick and painless so hope yours is too!

Oooh I think I'd like one of those quick births...my sister had an epic two day struggle! I'm secretly looking forward to gas and air, it looks fun...

confused I think (touch wood) the cycles are getting there. Last two have been 41 and 39 days. Starting opks this month to see if anything happening ovulation wise...
Just started the baby fund but hoping I can save a lot more over the next 6 months as I have quite a bit of extra work happening and not drinking will help! Just going to try and put as much of it away as I can!
Don't think I'll go over board with buying equipment and just get things as and when I need them if/when the little one arrives. I'm not sure I'll be able to resist some of the little clothes and things soon tho, they're so cute!!

Squirrel and oyster did you guys just go early by yourself or did something happen that you had to be brought in early? I also was fast labour so no pain relief, not a scenario I would like to repeat!

I was early too at 37 but DS was 7lb4oz so well ready!

Also they said (at the time) that I'm more likely to have an early 2nd baby and fast labour again but as it was over ten years ago I'm not sure my body remembers! I hope they let me have a home birth but I'm not sure they will if you've had premature babies before? Anyone know?

Oyster are you worried about going to full term this time? I'm scared of the last month as I heard you get huge!! Mind you my midwife reckoned I was more like 37 weeks for some reason (she thought she could tell from bump measurements or something.. )

Spent lunch time today secretly stocking up on vits. Already had folic acid, so just wanted extra supplies, but had to check what is in the conception ones and find individually. Was terrified someone from work would see. (Ironic that it's how I used to feel buying condoms!!)

I'm trying not to hope think that I may have ovulated and be in the TWW as many people take months post cerazette however I have also read stories of it happening without even getting a period

However we are definitely Not Trying Yet

Wow just finished that documentary, so amazing, seems highly unlikely anyone will ever get pregnant yet here we all are! Thanks for recommending!

I made it back to the gym tonight, after a couple of months off, for body combat and didn't die! Shattered now though.

Buzz yes I look pregnant too.. just bloating! Mine was better this morning but puffed up again over the day. I think it's definitely due to coming off the pill and body adjusting

Mrs I get stressed too! My DD was born at 35+5 so I was super worried at the time (but it was actually fine) however I do empathise with the women on the show and still get stressed out! It's lovely though too. It's not a new series, I just don't often watch tv so on 4 OD or whatever it's called now

also so i found tommee tippee great for my dd. So great bargain.
Spread out your shopping tho. 9 months waiting is alot of shopping time already!!
