Confused it was not white like pregnancy plug (my preg plug was hard like candle wax) it was between clear and cream coloured.

Jupiter I am so glad someone else gets it! Honestly its the oddest feeling! No pain or anything just i know its there lol... i am due AF on 20th so I am going to hold off testing until then... but i don't know how i will sneak one without DH knowing! But i tend to spot for a day or 2 before anyways.

Also Grumpy what colour has it been? When i lost my post pill plug it literally was creamy coloured like a pregnancy plug so it could be that as well as ovulation or conception

Oh god Grumpy sorry for panicking you. Apparently the CM post ovulation is much thicker and stickier than EWCM (which is more slippery) and it's sort of used to plug the cervix and keep bad things away from the egg. Don't worry :) Not everyone gets it anyway!!!

Don't panic grumpy , what will be will be! Although, i have been thinking, if you don't know when you are due AF or when ovulation was, when do you test? If you get symptoms?

Found out my friend conceived after taking the pill before she got any AF visits!!

Theres - that is such fantastic and exciting news. Maybe you could just go without any contraception for now and then try more actively after 8 weeks? So happy for you.

Sshsecret - brilliant that you got your high reading. Your CM also shows that peak fertility is right round the corner. I tend to get 3-4 days of flashing faces before I get my static one.

confused I do know what you mean. I feel really aware of my womb too although I am madly symptom spotting all the time. Have read that post conception lots of women have creamy thick CM although I haven't had any since I ovulated. I'm hoping though it's too soon as the egg won't have even implanted yet if we were lucky this month... so maybe next week. When is your AF due? Mine is due 22nd (Sunday)

My OPK came today. I used clear blue last month but wasn't overly excited by them for £30 a go. Paid about £5 for 20 OPK online, will start today

I have a boy who's 11 months today and am still carrying the excess weight. I gained more than 5 stones in the pregnancy and managed to lose 4 then gained another 2 so I need to lose at least 1.5 before I get to my pre pregnancy weight!
My problem is I have zero motivation and mentally have settled at this weight. Argghhh, I need to lose this weight!

59.4 kg this morning down from 61 on Monday so bloating is gone I think! Spin class early tomorrow and yoga at weekend to stay on track. Food is my weakness though and low carb isn't going well so far!

Coming in to my fertile week today, CD10..was hoping my OPK and thermometer would have turned up by now. I'm full of cold, feeling awful so not sure how I'm going to be able to dtd so frequently this week 🤔😬

There's - I came off the implant a few years ago so can't remember the bloating, I think I got a lot of bleeding though, so fingers crossed for you.
I do remember having a huge sense of relief though and realised that I had been a crazy person for 3 years but didn't know what was causing it!

haha Red I just looked at the essentials really... I knew I needed the bottle maker after using it with my nephew and the stereliser is a must! but the nappy disposal system I saw and asked DH about because anything that will get him to help with changing is a benefit in my eyes lol

Holly don't worry I am only getting the bits which are a bargin now... all the other months I am going to keep some money aside so I can go crazy once we actually make the baby lol

I am also a massive fan of OBEM and I go through days where I just binge watch it, I end up being so conntected to some of the people on there but it makes me mega broody!

Go for it Grumpy. Homebirth is highly recommended for low risk women and evidence from the birth place study shows it is the safest place to give birth (if it's not your first baby), midwifery led unit came in 2nd and the delivery suite last

Thanks mummy that was me. I didn't mind hospital but feel confident my body knows what to do and would rather stay home - plus there is a real risk of not getting to hospital in time if it's as fast as my first!

I saw further up the thread about someone wanting a homebirth after a previous 35/40. No reason why you couldn't have a booked homebirth, obviously if you went in to labour before 37/40 then HB would be out of the question but if you went to term then it's fine
