then you're all for it Wink

Hippychic79 · 20/12/2016 11:53

Thanks Ksk - I keep a daily gratitude journal too 😊

I think a round of applause based purely on the fact that this is pma with af on board!!!

Fx to all those waiting to test / holding off from testing xxxxxx

MrsCummings · 20/12/2016 11:48

Crikey... that is a LOT of positivity!

i'm not sure if i want to give you a round of applause or throw something at you guys Wink Shock

IntelligentPutty · 20/12/2016 11:33

Af due on Friday.
Boobs still a bit tender. When I cross arms or take bra off.
Shall I test?
Should I wait till morning.

I hate this 2WW

:(

Kskifred · 20/12/2016 10:47

Good PMA Hippy! I make a mental list before I go to bed every night that is very similar, it makes even the grumpiest of days just that; one bad day, tomorrow is a new one! And how can you stay down when you have so many wonderful things in your life - a roof over your head, a warm bed (to sit up worrying in Grin) family, etc etc the list goes on.

Keep going ladies, it will happen just got to hang in there.

PS can you tell I'm in a better mood today Grin

2ducks2ducklings · 20/12/2016 09:35

Hippy- what a fab outlook and one to definitely remember through those much darker days!

Hippychic79 · 20/12/2016 09:08

I'm officially out for this month... af has arrived! Gutted - yes absolutely.
But I am very grateful for the following -

  1. The phenomenal support from all of you lovely ladies.
  2. My periods are regular and I have negligible symptoms
  3. I love my life
  4. I love and have a man who loves me
  5. I haven't lost the faith in the fact it will happen
  6. I'm a million percent sure that I want a baby
  7. It's nearly Christmas 🎄 yaaay

Good luck to all those still waiting
Fingers crossed and baby dust xxxxx

bluesdetoi · 20/12/2016 08:40

Lovechild - I'm excited for you for tonight, fingers crossed for a BFP!

bluesdetoi · 20/12/2016 08:39

Haha patience is a virtue that time of the month. I've never been able to do the "i'll give it a few days" thing. I think my first test was 5dpo, which is ridiculous. Hang in there ladies!

I re-tested again this morning (10dpo) cause I wanted one with FMU and it's a bit clearer than my cheapie from yesterday. I feel more confident right now, but I honestly won't believe theres anything there until I get scans, because hanging around pregnancy forums you read a loooot of stories.

Morning all. Hope you slept well in the end powerpuffer.
Bertie has af arrived now?
Sorry to hear you think you are out.

Itsjustaphase84 · 20/12/2016 08:20

Still waiting for AF, no AF symptoms at all!!! Due her yesterday!! I tested with clearblue yesterday and got BFN. is it worth testing with non digital cheapie that might bring a faint line? I hate this 2we but more annoying when no AF AND bfn...

Lovechild2016 · 20/12/2016 07:59

Hang in there tinker you're not out yet! Did AF arrive bertie? Haha minime I can't wait to get home from nightshirt to poas also 10dpo know what I going to find but can't resist it! I'm so cray cray!

minime2016 · 20/12/2016 07:46

10 dpo-ish and I may have poas this morning...and got another bfn! It's an addiction! Can we set up a support group ...oh wait...Grin

BertieBotts · 20/12/2016 07:26

Writer so pleased for you. Fingers crossed things continue to go well.

I think I'm definitely out. Apparently the yoyoing of yesterday has made this easier to bear, though.

MrsCummings · 20/12/2016 06:47

6 DPO right here... I'm now thebweird HR manager that grabs her bangers to see if they hurt. Although they do, and are pretty weighty, so am I as have eaten shite for 6 weeks now... Wink

I convinced myself I was sensitive to smells on Sunday, as a cooking chicken smelt awful, probably just my cooking though as nothing since Grin

Well done to those newest BFPs!! Good shagging!

Due to text on Boxing Day according to Ovia, attempting to hold off POAS as logically I know it's too early, but the fact I went batshit on the BOGOF at Boots I suspect I may make it to Friday...

Tinkerbell2319 · 20/12/2016 06:42

12dpo, BFN :C

Bbs are big and hurting though still, DH accidentally nudged me at 1am last night and it hurt enough to wake me up :/

bluebell17 · 20/12/2016 01:24

Powerpuffer yes going to try and resist and test again on Thursday. But don't know if I'll manage to wait.

powerpuffer · 20/12/2016 00:49

bluebell17 I am. I've had flu for two weeks and it's messed with my sleeping pattern so I'm finding myself scouring Mumsnet for all TTC forum posts that may be slightly relevant to me so I can feel more in control. Starting the TWW tomorrow and I know I'll start to get even more obsessive.

I can understand your worries but I'm sure you'll be fine and this will be the first of many sleepless nights ahead! Are you going to test again?

bluebell17 · 20/12/2016 00:31

Struggling to sleep tonight, got a funny feeling like pms style cramps - maybe the faint positive is just an evap line and AF is on the way. It's crazy how this all just consumes your mind.

Anyone else struggling with sleep?

Motherhippy16 · 19/12/2016 23:37

Flaminflamingo I'm on cd 22 and my cycles 30 days x am due on af on the 28th x thank you for your help. X x x

bluebell17 · 19/12/2016 23:34

Thanks for all the comments. I've had different results on tests recently so still very cautious, and a bad bleed last week too so who knows what to expect. Going to try and resist testing tomorrow and test again on weds! Let's see what happens. For anyone that has had a BFP on here, how long does it take to get a clear, dark line on a BFP? I think an obvious line is the only way I'll be convinced it's real.

Tinker - I think I'm a POAS addict now. Some people get their BFPs at 12 dpo but many don't get anything clear for a number of days after AF is due hence my question above. It's so hard to know what to do! Fingers crossed for you!

FlaminFlamingo99 · 19/12/2016 22:50

Writer I think you did well to manage three days!!!

motherhippy what CD are you on, and how long are your cycles normally? I get cramping for a couple of days around ovulation (sometimes so bad it keeps me awake at night)... And then I usually get AF cramps too... Some people have implantation cramps if it's their lucky cycle, but I didn't have that or implantation bleeding. Hope that helps xx

MotherofUnicorns · 19/12/2016 22:44

Hi everyone
Just catching up. the Christmas madness is setting in so i am out and about visiting people all over the place.
I am cd13 now and i think i possibly ov'd on cd7 (dark line on ic opk) which would be very odd and early. I am still poas using IC OPKs to check it wasn't a false positive on cd 7. I normally ov around now so would be expecting to see the lines getting darker but so far they are still very faint.
Basically i am either in the 2ww 6dpo or still waiting to ov. either way all a little confusing! I have sore boobs and spots which could be ov symptoms or i could obviously convince myself i am pg!!

AF due NYE so AGES and AGES to wait......

Congrats to all the grads, it is certainly a good bus to be on!

Motherhippy16 · 19/12/2016 22:35

Confratulations on all the bfps x x x Just a general question if I may. I've just gone on an ovulation and implantation calender to break down the month for me and it says to look out for cramping from today onwards and for the next 4 days. I have been cramping off and on all day with a light back ache. I've had no cramping since my last af. Maybe I'm going crazy but just wanted to see if anyone else had cramping around this date in their cycle? X

Writerwannabe83 · 19/12/2016 22:35

I've just done a CB Digital and got 3+ weeks so I'm feeling really reassured now as when I miscarried in March I never made it past the 1-2 week reading. I'm going for an early scan in about two weeks time as like you I just need to see the heartbeat.

I haven't been able to wait until Christmas until telling DH as I was just so excited and in fact only lasted three days before I told him!! He was absolutely gob smacked Grin
