DH would be so pleased! Would be the best Christmas present ever. I've not mentioned any twinges etc to him as I thought we'd got lucky 2cycles ago and he was genuinely gutted when af showed. He's quite cute as his face lights up if I say I'm tired etc as he thinks we might have struck it lucky lol!

Lovechild2016 · 17/12/2016 19:39

Haha minime definitely not alone! Also hoping for some implantation cramps ❤️ (Which Google tells me don't really exist...) fingers crossed its a baby not ibs!

minime2016 · 17/12/2016 19:19

Lovechild2016 thank goodness I'm not alone in looking for signs Smile I'm now 7dpo and over analysing everything! Today I've been hoping to feel implantation cramps(!) Currently wondering if the very very dull lower abdomen discomfort can be them Grin(more likely to be IBS related!)

Lovechild2016 · 17/12/2016 17:47

I think I'm 6 dpo and just woke up from a nap feeling sick... Probs just hungry but let's hope it's a little Christmas miracle. Sorry for AF jelly, novice and sounds hopeful okey fingers crossed for Wednesday. You are being very restrained holding out to poas! bluebell really hope repeat frer brings good news with a darker line, so stressful for you being in limbo.

Kskifred · 17/12/2016 16:07

Frer sounds promising bluebell fingers crossed if you test in a few days it gets stronger x

Hippychic79 · 17/12/2016 15:05

Sounds promising okyD :))))
Fx for all - no matter which bus you're on...
We will all reach the same destination xxxx

OkyDoke · 17/12/2016 14:09

Sorry to hear AF got you jelly & novice. Congrats carlotta!

I have normally started spotting at this point in my cycle but nothing yet! No cramps either. According to ovia AF is due on Wednesday. My cycle is between 27-29 days normally. About 5 months off pill now, first month not using condoms etc. It feels promising to me, nipples feel weird too, never normally get sore! Will trt and wait til friday tl test if AF doesnt get me.

Hippychic79 · 17/12/2016 13:16

Big love jellybabie & Novice xxxx

bluebell17 · 17/12/2016 11:18

Thanks jelly and jani. I had a 34 day cycle for my first cycle, I'm now on cd25 I think BUT I don't chart or temp so I don't know when I ovulated. Hard to tell. I'm still thinking the bleed last weekend was probably a chemical and the faints are just that going away but fingers crossed I'm wrong. Trying to resist temptation to POAS for a few days now. Although have a few mulled wine gatherings this weekend to try and avoid drinking at! Fx to all!

ttcnovice · 17/12/2016 10:51

I'm also jumping off and making my way over to January's bus. AF arrived this morning, a day late just to get my hopes up a little. Shouldn't be too down since it was our first cycle, but it's so hard not to be Sad.

Best of luck to everyone still waiting this month, still time for the lucky bus to give out a few more BFPs!

janiPop · 17/12/2016 10:37

Sorry jelly and wishing you all the luck for your next cycle.

bluebell a faint line on FRER sounds promising. Do you know how many dpo you are?

Jellybabie3 · 17/12/2016 10:10

Thanks hippychic. Think im going to just relax over christmas break (apparently i will be leading up to fertile days between xmas and new year) and concentrate on making good positive changes for myself in the new year. Defo need to drink more water and take life less seriously! Hopefully now i have gone through a couple of cycles and have a better feel for life off the pill i will get lucky soon Smile. Thanks all xx

Hippychic79 · 17/12/2016 10:00

Awww jellybabie xxx so sorry to here this .
Stay strong and positive xxxxx

Jellybabie3 · 17/12/2016 09:38

Thanks bluebell. Will have my fingers crossed for you in the next few days. Your not out til shes here for sure xx

bluebell17 · 17/12/2016 09:15

I'm so sorry jellybabie.
Enjoy your Christmas and have a glass of mulled something or other if you fancy it x

Jellybabie3 · 17/12/2016 08:52

Morning all. AF hit me like a brick at 5am this morn (cd30) so i am currently curled up in ball and i guess out of the game for abit. Will be shuffling over to catch the January bus shortly. Congrats to all those who got BFPs so far and best of luck to those still waiting to test! Xmas Smile thanks for listening to me ramble for the past few days. Oh and cheers to a merry christmas Wine

bluebell17 · 17/12/2016 08:48

Just done the FRER and I was going to say it's negative but after 4 mins (it said will be able to read in 3 but don't read after 10 mins) there is an extremely faint line. I think kskifred was probably right about it being a chemical Hmm but I'd still not be cd25 when last month cycle was 34 days so I'm not ruling myself out completely just yet. I'll see how I get on over the next few days!

Hippychic79 · 17/12/2016 07:14

Hi Bertie - I like your attitude- not out till af arrives :)
Bloody apps - they're all misleading in my opinion ... and the ovulation calculators all give varying results .... my humble opinion - baby dance as much as you can - they say every other day ... and if your lucky enough to have a dh that can oblige with this - then all power to you xxxx but for those of you who aren't able to baby dance every other day for whatever reason ... and I'm in this camp sadly .... then keep up the positive vibe and believe that bfp will happen sooner or later ... god has a plan for us all and it's our divine right to be happy 😊
Baby dust xxxxxxxx

BertieBotts · 17/12/2016 06:55

Oh and we don't have first response in germany which is annoying!

Have caught up on thread now. Congratulations Carlotta!

Jellybabbie - ovia is a bit misleading, there is no slow ramp up to being fertile. You're either fertile or not. There are 5 days before ovulation where the environment will be friendly and if sperm make it to your fallopian tubes they can rest and get nourishment there until the egg is released. Then the egg itself takes 24 hours to make its way down the tube until it's too late to be fertilised. Ovia is misleading because it shows this smooth curve, when it doesn't work like that. I'd try to take it as more like 'percentage chance you're fertile', rather than being a measure in itself. Maybe double across the data to countdowntopregnancy.com or fertility friend or kindara.

BertieBotts · 17/12/2016 06:41

1.5 AF-free days down, 3.5 to go!

BFN yesterday but I don't feel out. Still symptom spotting. Random aches, tiredness, hungry all the time, boobs weird, high temps. DH even asked that I don't drink this time! Luckily, we should know by Christmas.

Hippychic79 · 17/12/2016 05:25

I've woken up at 5am on cycle day 26... this wait is doing my head in! I'm clearly worrying about something I have very little control over.
How stupid that you can't buy refills ... this is ridiculous. It's bad enough being on this rollercoaster or bus we seem to be calling it. I spent £30 last month on cb opks, cv pts and conception plus gel stuff .... and im too scared to test right now. I'm thinking it's better to have a few more days of not knowing but this is so much easier said than done when those pt's are just sat in the drawer calling me. I won't cave in!
Af - having you visit is part of being a woman and I wholeheartedly embrace this.... but please give me 9 months off .... I would do anything to be a mum, and don't stay with my friends on here either - take a vacation somewhere elseSmile
Xxx

JeNeBaguetteRien · 17/12/2016 00:53

kski you can't buy refills for the Clearblue OPK but you should get 2 cycles from 1 kit, possibly 3 depending how quickly you get your peak "static smiley".
I have used it the last 2 cycles and had 2 days negative, then 6 or 7 days of flashing smilies before getting peak.

Kskifred · 16/12/2016 23:59

fx bluebell i hope the frer shows that bfp!

bluebell17 · 16/12/2016 23:55

Flaming I've bought the FRER but not done it yet. Waiting (impatiently) for FMU tomorrow. Got regular twinges in pelvic area. Might be all in my mind. I've used some of the clear & simple cheapie to pass time and they show no sign of a line :(
Fingers crossed FRER shows a positive tomorrow. I'll report back tomorrow.....

Jelly - I've had no luck with those clear and simple ones, but a faint positive on a clear blue? Don't know what to expect from tomorrow!

Fingers crossed to all!

janiPop · 16/12/2016 23:23

Congratulations carlotta Star. No doubt when it's written there clearly!

kski you have to buy the entire set again, there's no option of refills which is a bit silly. I had a look for refills when I bought my cb opk kit from tesco to use this month but no such thing seems to exist. I'm on CD 17 and still waiting for a Smile to pop up.
