I can see a very faint line on the first test and a stronger line with more colour on the second one. I'd trust the FR over CB. congratulations x

IntelligentPutty · 19/12/2016 14:36

I can see something on both bluebell.
X

Motherhippy16 · 19/12/2016 13:56

Good afternoon all. Have kinda given up this month as only managed to dtd twice in fw due to horrible flu and cold which doesn't exactly scream sexy! Earliest I can test is sat so trying to keep busy by rush buying Christmas things! Am feeling a bit twingy and tired but not surprising at this time of year lots of love to all x

Kskifred · 19/12/2016 13:25

I can see a faint one on the second pic - congrats! I would trust the frer over cb as they are known for misleading blue evap lines but don't think a pink dye test lies...either way it's a positive however faint so fingers crossed it gets darker in a few days x

OkyDoke · 19/12/2016 13:10

Faint on the second one here too :)

ringroads · 19/12/2016 12:45

I can see something on both bluebell!! X

Tinkerbell2319 · 19/12/2016 12:40

Same I can see a faint one on the second test Smile

bluebell17 · 19/12/2016 12:39

Thanks lovechild - the first one is a real squinter. The second one seems a lot more pink. Hmmmmm.

Lovechild2016 · 19/12/2016 12:30

I can't see any line on the first test (the one against the instructions) but can see a vey faint line on the second test.

bluebell17 · 19/12/2016 12:14

I'm still worried as everywhere I read tells me CB are less reliable and show a BFP later, and these FRER are more faint than the CB?! Arghhhh.

bluebell17 · 19/12/2016 12:13

Ok so I buckled!!!!! I did another FRER! what do you think?

I'll post Saturdays test picture which is the one against the instructions. And then today's test picture.

Hippy I know it is hard but try not to think it's all over, until AF shows you aren't out so try to relax, I know easier said than done! It's a very stressful process and understand your disappointment but it may well just be too early for your tests to pick up the hcg levels.

I went a bit quiet on here, the 1st week of cycle is pretty boring and depressing as you gear up for FW. I was telling my close friend the other day about my chemical last cycle and that it knocked the festive fun out of me and she made a good point on the PMA front - try and see it as celebrating your last Christmas together with just DS before the crazy mayhem of another child - it will never be just the three of you again. The same works for those ttc DC1 - try and see this as the last Christmas you get to be footloose and fancy free with ALL the wine and pate Christmas has to offer. Chances are this time next year most if not all of us will have another little person to care for. PMA!!

Hippychic79 · 19/12/2016 10:25

thank you Lovechild xxx
I'd say some cycles are easier than others, this cycle i convinced myself i was pregnant for seeing those BFN results have just broken my heart, I'm struggling today, but I guess its the anticipated visit from the witch. As if its not bad enough getting a negative, we then have to deal with cramps and feeling like crap for a few days. Oh mother nature, why are you so hard on us?

xxxxx

Lovechild2016 · 19/12/2016 10:22

bluebell yes it's criminal how expensive they are! Especially at this time of year. I used my double points boots voucher to make myself feel better. Thanks carlotta you are right we hard on ourselves, lovely to know it does work out ok though. how are you feeling? Xx

Carlotta82248 · 19/12/2016 10:14

Sending love to everyone, I had no idea how stressful ttc was going to be and really just thought it would happen straight away. I'm 34 so when it didn't started to beat myself up straight away that I'd left it too long etc.....us girls are so hard on ourselves! Even doing everything 'right' in a month the percentage is so small so it's totally normal for it to take a while, but it's so so hard when you want it so much. Bluebell my initial lines were sooo feint so keeping my fingers crossed for you. Those bfns I'm thinking of you, wishing you a boozy Christmas and lots of festive frolicking! Those in the 2ww, sending you love too! Xx

bluebell17 · 19/12/2016 09:55

Thanks lovechild I've got a FRER and a CB digital, but I think the expense is the thing that's making me hold off. But maybe I'll go for it, I'm so tempted. I think it's going to be a BFN though, I felt different the other day, kept having twinges etc, but today I feel totally normal again. Although I am exhausted and very achy but that could just be the Christmas build up catching up on me.

Bertie - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Lovechild2016 · 19/12/2016 09:41

Morning everyone. A bit of a roller coaster over the weekend it seems. hippychick, bertie and claire sorry for stressful BFN, I also caved and did a internet cheapie today 8DPO (well I think) which no matter how many different lights or ways I looked at it was negative! Feeling your pain, I'm also cycle 3 and 32 yrs old so trying to keep a lid on anxiety as power is totally right, for the vast majority it WILL happen but it often takes 6-12 months 💐 Big love to you all and hang in there. As for the BFP wow! Amazing news girls: ash and okey so happy for you, hope you are feeling ok and they are sticky beans Smile bluebell I think you are an a example to us all with your patience at what must be such a tricky time. I agree wait as long as you can as only time will give you the answer but I don't know if I could be that restrained, big hugs to you and keeping all crossed for a much darker line when you do test.

Hippychic79 · 19/12/2016 09:40

i agree power - and I'm very grateful for all the supportive comments.
I never thought a bfp would take this long...
i need to go easy on myself though as o/h and i only baby danced once in my fertile window and it was slightly too early. we dtd on day 13 and i got a smiley face on opk on day 15. Like Mummyme - I'm just pleased I'm ovulating as i don't think i was when i first started TTC.
good luck ladies
xxxxxx

BertieBotts · 19/12/2016 09:29

That's a good sign Tinker! Can be known as an "implantation dip".

bluebell I'm not sure! I don't know exactly when I ovulated. I think up until Wednesday the witch is fair game.

Tinkerbell2319 · 19/12/2016 09:20

11dpo today and BBT has dipped by 0.4 degrees C... it's not below the cover line but it's the lowest I've had since ov

Does this mean AF is en route? First month temping so not really sure what it means if anything yet :/

bluebell17 · 19/12/2016 09:15

I'm still trying to resist testing again. My tests were so faint last week, and came up later than the suggested time on some of them so I'm not convinced. Confused if I count the bleed before out and say it wasn't AF then AF is due between 21st and 27th depending on length of my cycle. My last one was 34 days! So confused.

bluebell17 · 19/12/2016 09:11

Claire sorry to hear of your confusing cycles. Remind me how long you've been TTC for? I hope you get some answers soon.

Bertie Fingers crossed it's not, I'm hoping for a BFP for you. When is AF due?

Mummyme that's a strong positive opk! Good luck!

BertieBotts · 19/12/2016 08:31

BFN, not a hint of a squinter. Symptoms seem gone too... I wonder how much it's psychosomatic :(

Mummyme87 · 19/12/2016 08:28

Positive OPK.. they do exist!!

December Bus #2
88claire · 19/12/2016 08:26

Still no news from me. Multiple BFN but lots of positive OPKsConfused. Not a clue when AF will show or when I ovulated. have made an appointment to see a doctor on Wednesday as I'm convinced my hormones are all over the place!

According to ovia my longest cycle is 42 days so will test on Christmas Eve and if that's negative I'm definitely out.

Congratulations to anyone with a BFP... I dream of that day!
