My last period was 18th November. Usually spot on cycles and no bother whatsoever with bleeding in between

Quick check of calculator says I should be ovulating right now - we are not actively TTC but wouldn't mind if we did..

Now this today - sorry Sad..not heavy enough to be a period?! Is this what spotting is? Only blood when I wipe, it's pink/reddy so fresh blood; not brown..nowhere near enough to soak a pad or anything

Any ideas?

She probably posted in chat for traffic, or be used she's new and doesn't know her way around yet. And my first post was probably something to do with conception or periods or something as most women find mumsnet when looking for that type of specific advice.

The op posted here for advice, she is clearly worried about what is going on with her body and thought that maybe in this supposedly supportive community she might get some help.

Maybe she shouldn't have posted the picture, but does it really matter? What matters is that the advice that has been given has been lost in a sea of posts villifying the poor woman so that she hasn't come back and is unlikely to post again for fear of more of the same.

Shame on all of you who have derailed this thread and prevented the op getting the advice she asked for.

OP if you think you ovulate around now then it seems a little early for implantation bleeding however none of us can know and neither can you until around the time your period is due when you can take a test and then if no period shows up then do another 2-3 days later. It could be a very light early period, I've had that before for no serious reason or it could be that your cervix has been irritated by something. I would wait to see what your period is doing and if you're still concerned, go to see your GP who will have a look for you. and not be horrified by a bit of blood on a tissue 🙄

I implanted with all 4. Red and brown blood. The red was spots the size of a 2p or 5p

When did you ovulate. It takes at least a few days for the egg to travel down tubes and then burrow

My implantation bleeding was generally between 5 days post ovulation and 12 days. The earlier the implantation bleed, the earlier I got a positive.

My guess would be implantation bleeding.

Ignore the prim pearl clutchers. If a spot of blood gives them an attack of the vapours then I doubt their medical advice is up to much.

I'm not offended with a bloody tissue, pic and tmi were in the title so stop rubber necking and moaning about it.

It could be the start of your period or spotting after sex. Anything really, not much help here sorry.

I like the sporners. Many people like seeing those pictures.

No one really gets excited over seeing some pinkish blood on a toilet paper.

Can be described easily enough. It just shocks me sometimes the things people take photos of and post for everyone to see.

OP, if it helps at all, I had implantation bleeding with DTDs and it was fairly brown and very thick.
