My last period was 18th November. Usually spot on cycles and no bother whatsoever with bleeding in between

Quick check of calculator says I should be ovulating right now - we are not actively TTC but wouldn't mind if we did..

Now this today - sorry Sad..not heavy enough to be a period?! Is this what spotting is? Only blood when I wipe, it's pink/reddy so fresh blood; not brown..nowhere near enough to soak a pad or anything

Any ideas?

TMI (photo inc) and very sorry..

OP we might need a bit more info to be honest... how long are your cycles normally? When roughly do you tend to ovulate? Was this after sex or completely out of the blue?... i would say that looks like spotting to me but i tend to be a heavy bleeder down there anyways... i think the majority of posters saying Implantation bleed is a very good sign for you. If it was IB you should be able to get a positive test in the next few days... Hopefully you will get a Christmas Baby! Xmas Grin best of luck to you and i hope whatever happens it is the best outcome for you xxx

Carmen I'm confused as to your post. Why bash other posters for their opinion unhelpful comments on a thread where you haven't made any positive contribution yourself? Had you come onto the thread to offer advise and relieve the OPs concerns then fair enough, but really if you have nothing to contribute to the issue discussed (graphically illustrated) in the OP perhaps it should be you who fucks off ignores it Smile

Carmen1001 · 02/12/2016 22:38

Hope you're ok OP! Clopy you're wonderful. As for Navy, I feel your constant need for coming back to this thread is just you seeking reassurance from others. No need to bring down a woman who has came here for support. If you don't like something why not fuck off elsewhere or just ignore it Grin

It's been moved to conception, hopefully the folks there will be more helpful than us miserable lot Grin

Jellybabie3 · 02/12/2016 20:00

Possibly. But then its just an honest mistake? I know when we finally decided to take the plunge and start trying i was so so excited but then totally freaked (and still am) by anything that crops up -thats when you reach out and type like a maniac in the hope that someone responds to say 'yes thats normal' or 'its happened to me' or 'yay you should test you sound preg' just for abit of reassurance. Christ i have started threads at the crack of dawn because i didnt sleep worrying about stuff which ok, to everyone else was probably a bore because its been said 20x before but for me it wasnt. It was scary. Not trying to sound preachy. I just think OP is here just like me, looking for abit of a hand to hold through a pretty damn scary (but exciting) time.

I find this thread abit sad tbh. I am also relatively new to MN and find the support pretty much essential because i know i can come on here with FELLOW WOMEN and get answers to questions i cant ask elsewhere either because i dont want people to know we are trying or because its so personal i cant ask a friend to their face. Yes we are all 'friends' here but anonymously -usually meaning its a environment for people to be open without embarrassment as after all we are ALL IN THE SAME BOAT. Please dont knock a newbie down. Its a picture. Look, hate it/shrug, or whatever then move on if you have nothing supportive to say. Arent we/havent we all freaked out about something, especially at the start? OP i am not sure what has caused the bleed but if you are worried or it keeps happening perhaps book to see your GP. Goodluck.

onedayimightforget · 02/12/2016 18:57

Hope you're okay OP and the bleeding/sporting has settled down or become a bit clearer.

Obviously you posted the photo because this isn't normal for you and only with the photo would other's be able to shed some light about what it could be. Therefore I think it is relevant to have included it.

If you are concerned then I'd get it checked but if it's stopped now and it was just that little bit of spotting then it might just be a case of waiting it out to see if your period arrives in a couple of weeks as expected.

Good luck OP.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 02/12/2016 18:33

There are loads of threads like this on MN and it's very clear from the thread title that it's going to be a TMI photo ,why on earth would you click on it if you're just going to get snippy about it?

OP - I would imagine it's either a bit of bleeding from sex or implantation bleeding. It's not something that would worry me unless it kept happening Smile

RedCrab · 02/12/2016 18:27

I've never had an implantation bleed so I don't know what one really looks like. If I had that bleed I'd think it seemed like too much for an implantation bleed - but describing exactly that much, how much, would be very difficult. So it's super useful to have people who have experienced implantation bleeds to say theirs was similar or not. OP says photo and TMI in the title. She needed to know if it looked similar to anything anyone else had had. It's not fair to have made her feel like she did something wrong - she was looking for support.

Evergreen17 · 02/12/2016 17:41

Navy then dont click, OK? There was a TMI and photo warning
Honestly Hmm

Evergreen17 · 02/12/2016 17:25

OP said TMI and photo. If you didnt want to click then dont.
So a woman in need of advice puts this and these are the reactions?
Grow up people.
OP I never had implantation bleeding myself but it should happen a few days after ovulation really...
