Calling all clomid-ers, OPK-ers, temp-ers and anyone else on the TTC Bus.

We are long past cervix prodding (in fact we know where it is at any given time just by closing our eyes) and we have ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar. We don't do baby dust, or baby-dancing, we just keep legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX) We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate, but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face. You get kwick-cake if you behave, and talked down from the ledge when you need it.

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share....

Mouse that is some epic responding! I am lucky if I remember one or two people....on the ahem finishing front, I usually have at least one first, and then one after (not always) or at the same time. I have heard that doing kegels after (ie to 'squeeze' it all in) can have an adverse impact but I can't guarantee that. With the boobs, mine don't often get very sore, but more like I can't stomach the idea of them being touched - they're more sensitive I suppose.

EJ sorry I missed your car crash post - its such a scary thing, even if everything is fine, your adrenal/stress response goes through the roof! Hopefully you can do lots of nice relaxing things.

I read an interesting article, that I've lost now, about the power of deep breathing - it basically allows your stress response to switch off and stimulates blood flow to your uterus/ovaries etc - so get deep breathing chaps!!

kwick, have a good trip to Frankfurt. I was there with one of my team over the summer and we accidentally stayed right in the middle of the red light district. It was...interesting...walking back to our hotel after dinner one night.

jam, looks like our cycles are in sync as I'm also expecting a festive Christmas egg. In my mind, I'm picturing it wearing a little Father Christmas hat which can only be a good sign surely? Here's hoping you don't need one though...

Mouse, I never have any boob sensitivity at all. Occasionally I think I do and then it inevitably turns out that it's just my bra digging into me at a weird angle. I can't even imagine what it would be like for them to feel sore, like you I think I'd be totally freaked out!

Nicky if testing early will get you upset then don't do it. FX it won't be upset but your BFP.

Kwick I feel like I'm hanging on at work. It's just not the kinda work I want to be doing forever, kinda wish I'd moved sooner though. I'm resided that the BFP won't be for a while. I think you are soooo close. This cycle is the one!! I'm sending you good vibes.

Sk1pper high five for ditching everything. Give it till your appointment. I think you could get your BFP being relaxed. I've ditched temping this cycle and weirdly think I'm sleeping better. I don't think my waking was helping my seismic chart lol.

Nothing really to report here. I'm CD11 and starting OPK today. Knowing my luck I've already ovulated (ovia and ff seem to think so according to my lovely 23 day cycle last time) but I'm not too worried if I have or haven't. DTD the last two nights... let's see how long that run lasts for lol.

TMI questions....
Do you always finish after your partner? (Didn't want to use the DP acronym just in case you guys thought I was into some kinky stuff.... I'm not) lol.

And what does it mean if my boobie sensitivity is LOW. As in you could snack them with a cricket bat and I might think... oh what was that?? Lol I think if they suddenly get sore I might freak out.

Had my third blood test this morning, I am getting to be a pro Xmas Smile got follow up GP appointment next week to go through all our results - bloods, SAs, scan , and then discuss next steps. Feeling alright about it really, I've just got to go with the flow and maybe even work on developing some kind of PMA Xmas Confused next egg is Christmas Day - which doesn't feel too long away!

Kwick - you're such a busy lady! A real jet setter Wink I work for a massive company but the maternity pay is the legal minimum. It's honestly crazy. We saved for a year before TTC just so we would be able to afford food/bills for a year but in hindsight wish I'd started TTC earlier. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though!

kwick I'm in a similar boat at work, where I make a recommendation, no one listens and then I have to deal with tidying up the mess. A few days ago this resulted in a £40million mispayment that I had to deal with, when my boss commended me on my swift action and calm demeanour I confessed that ever since the first major fuck up like this I've been cultivating a very specific mindset with regards my job, it goes like this: everything we do is pointless, it's just a job, it's just money, it doesn't matter. Feelings like stress and panic aren't real....and so on. He just looked at me like Hmm

So anyway, no dtd last night as I've got a chesty cough (an actual chesty one - not a Christmassy one miw Grin) but hopefully we've done enough. I know we are so lucky to have free magic potion, just sometimes it's not available on tap!!

jam correct. AF will show up bang on time just like every cycle except that this time it won't because you'll have a bfp but we aren't saying that because we don't want to jinx it Wink fx for you.

kwick, we've had a number of those decisions in my company recently and the fallout has been really hard for everyone. It's so hard to keep people engaged when they feel like management is screwing them over at every opportunity. Liking the eternal PMA though!

Kwick - work sounds bad but don't loose your natural cool. What's your maternity pay like where you work?

I feel so backwards ATM. First cycle not doing OPKs, I'm not even checking CM...just going with the flow. It's weirdly liberating. Tracking BD just in case I need it to work out a due date or something but that's it.

Oh is nagging me.... But we have made progress! Just need to buy IKEA sheets for the IKEA bed and the guests on Friday have a room to sleep in! It's just our bedroom that is a disaster..... Oh just can't see mess in the bedroom! It doesn't bother him, but I won't be able to fully relax until it's done.

This cycle is not going well. I quit alcohol and have worked hard on stress levels as im prone to a constant state of stress.

I was then involved in a minor car crash on the way to work & so dh took me out tonight for steak and wine. Luckily neither myself nor other driver was hurt and cars are just scuffed and dented.

Ladies apologies - it has been a very long day - only just on way home now, left home at 7.30am and so my sarcastic side is winning...

fxskip listen to moi: I have been in a DTD desert for years - if you have it "on tap" so to speak then i think you should be DTD at every opportunity!!!
Side note: do you have any idea how much they charge for magic potion????? Grin

I am feeling quite despondent with work... it looks like another decision which I fundamentally disagree with is about to be made. And just like the other one it is muggins here that has to not only implement but pick up and resolve inevitable fall out....
Glad my CV is nearly there but of course cannot leave as this would impact maternity pay and I am about to get my BFP (PMA always lurking!!!)

music yeah my cycles are like clockwork, they could set Big Ben to them. I should be grateful really but they haven't bloody got me anywhere! I hold absolutely no illusions that it'll be AF as usual - not in a "woe is me" type way, just a real, facing cold reality way.

Alexia yes it looks like O-2 was a success! FX it is for you too. You so deserve to be on that grad thread. As do all the other lovely ladies on this thread. Can you give your sticks to your DH? That's what I did. He wouldn't give me one until 12dpo! Blush I have one left from the packet so I am thinking of poas on Friday to check that the line has got stronger. Don't want to obsess too much though...

Exciting that there are quite a few in the tww atm, hoping for some more BFPs soon!

jam glad you have a nice day planned on Saturday. Is your AF usually like clockwork? I wouldn't read anything into having usual AF build up symptoms. I haven't had anything that I could say was out of the ordinary this cycle.

Hep hooray for normal functions resuming! Hope house stuff isn't too stressful the rest of this week. IKEA furniture isn't my favourite I have to admit.

skipper I used preseed for the first time this cycle! I thoroughly recommend it. I don't know if it gave me my BFP but in my mind it totally did.

Oh London i hate last days of tww so much !
I am actually thinking of testing early for the first time in my 12 cycles history after the fertility consultant mentioned My TSH could be causing chemicals or implantation problems ! I cant bring myself to do it though !

11 DPO the dreaded TWW is almost over! Need to stock up on tampons! No testing over here! Got the usual sore boobs, emotionally unstable yadda yadda ya.

fxskip I would suggest continue with OPKs but then I don't ovulate until day 16 so that's all quite early days for me!
