Thread 21 TTC #1 - The one where all our cycles went haywire but we DID NOT GIVE UP

Calling all clomid-ers, OPK-ers, temp-ers and anyone else on the TTC Bus.

We are long past cervix prodding (in fact we know where it is at any given time just by closing our eyes) and we have ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar. We don't do baby dust, or baby-dancing, we just keep legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX) We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate, but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face. You get kwick-cake if you behave, and talked down from the ledge when you need it.

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share....

Awww Mouse thank you, that has made my day!! I have my FX for you for December, I think your cycles will settle down now.

You ladies are all so lovely Grin

MouseLove · 30/11/2016 09:53

My smile is HUGE this morning. I FLIPPING KNEW IT.

CONGRATULATIONS wanting and MrsG. I FLIPPING knew you two were preggo. Ah so happy.

And it's my BIRTHDAY !! I'm going to have a day drinking coffee!!! Grin

Seriously you guys, know how to make a day perfect. MrsG, my pill buddy, sod off to the pregnancy boards you!!! (Well, actually don't go just yet lol) Wink

FXSkip · 30/11/2016 09:28

Congrats MrsG and Wanting!! Great news, a lush bunch of August babies! I don't know what all that fuss is about btw, I think they are supposed to be more creative and so what if they are young for class! Good luck to all 3 of our grads - 2 on cycle 2 as well. I daren't change the thread name though, don't want to jinx it ha ha!!

I think me, Sk1pper and Gee are all moved to mid-end Dec as we've all been nailed by the witch already. Testing this week I had Harriet, Kwick and Musicgrrl. Next weekl is Tenner, Jam and Hep.

Anyone see the news this morning - apparently if women just get pregnant as soon as possible after mc then the next pg has a better chance. Thanks Beeb, I've just been lolling around painting my nails but now you've enlightened me I'll just nip off and GET PREGNANT LIKE IT'S SODDING EASY YOU BUNCH OF IGNORANT ASSHOLES.

Sorry. Just needed to get that off my chest.

kavanaughkj · 30/11/2016 09:08

Whoa - this is fantastic! Congratulations Wanting!!! Grin Flowers see? Twice was definitely enough!!

Anybody want to change the thread name? Wink

Londonjam · 30/11/2016 09:04

Oh wow wanting congrats! Thats fantastic Smile

So that's three in two days?!! Well we did say we needed BFP s Smile

Miranda234 · 30/11/2016 09:02

OMG another one! Congratulations wanting!!!! So happy for you all

WantingBaby1 · 30/11/2016 09:01

Congrats mrs!!

Miranda234 · 30/11/2016 09:00

Congratulations mrsg how exciting 😊

WantingBaby1 · 30/11/2016 08:58

So I finally tested...BFP! Still shaking. I did 2 tests just to be sure. Clear blue says 1-2 weeks and FRER is quite clear too. Not a squinter! I'm absolutely delighted.

I really hope all you ladies get your BFPs soon, you all deserve it so much. It's been wonderful to be a part of such a supportive group.

harrietm87 · 30/11/2016 08:48

Woohoo mrsg! Congrats!!!

sk1pper · 30/11/2016 08:46

Kav - sometimes I think a state of total relaxation is the key. It's just reaching that state that can be tricky. Very happy for you :)

Music - ha ha, been there. I'm always making weird recipes or eating strange food on repeat and OH is just like "for baby making?" And I'm like, yep! This is our lives now Grin.

kavanaughkj · 30/11/2016 08:41

I think I probably was more relaxed this cycle skipper - DH got a job after so long out of work, which had been stressing the crap out of me - and I calmed down a bit in my new job. As for TTC - after so many cycles of trying it wasn't at the forefront of my brain 100% of the day any more, and I think knowing I'd booked up to chat about fertility treatment helped me. Add to that a lovely hour of reflexology around the time I was due to implant - seriously recommend it, I was dozing off on the table! - and I think I was as chilled about TTC as I was ever seriously going to get.

I'll absolutely stay around Jam - at the moment I'd feel like an impostor on the grad thread anyway!!! Much comfier here for now _ thank you though Flowers

Musicgrrl · 30/11/2016 08:38

I had an entertaining evening yesterday. Was cutting up my pineapple (kwik!) and accidentally sliced my finger with a very sharp knife. Then proceeded to have to lie on the floor for half an hour because I felt sick and like I was about to faint while DH rushed around me with tissues and plasters. Then afterwards he was like - what is this new obsession you have with pineapple anyway - and I told him and he burst out laughing! Fortunately I was able to see the funny side by this point...

MrsG280516 · 30/11/2016 08:35

Thank you everyone!

Only cycle 2 off the pill! Ovulated on CD11, DTD on 5,8,10 & 11. We were going to do SMEP but got my positive OPK on CD10 so we hadn't had much DTD in before that.

Ironically we were originally not going to TTC till after the new year to avoid an August baby... EDD if all is well would be August 11th Blush but we're both past caring now!

Londonjam · 30/11/2016 08:30

Hurrah!! Another one!!! Congratulations mrsg am so chuffed for you. What cycle are you on, did you do anything different?

Glad to hear everything going well kav Smile please stick around and let us know how you are getting on with scans and things!

Mouse my parents know as I told my mum when we started trying last year. I kind of wish I hadn't but I think I would have had more comments and pressure to start if I hadn't. I love my Mum but she's such a blabber mouth! She cannot keep things to herself. There's no way I could tell her about DH morphology. She said to me the other day Don't be stressed... perfectly good advise but love how it's assumed that it's the woman's fault for being stressed?! Anyway hope your mum will be a support and that she won't be waiting long

sk1pper · 30/11/2016 08:23

Kav / MrsG - would you say you felt more relaxed on your current cycles? I do sometimes think it seems to happen when people least expect it.

YouOweMeATenner · 30/11/2016 08:22

Congratulations mrsg!! Star Star
More brilliant news!

At this rate of going thread 21 will need to change names to 'the one where we all got bfps'

kavanaughkj · 30/11/2016 08:21

Hee - I guess it IS like buses after all!! Congratulations MrsG!!!!! Grin Grin feels surreal, doesn't it??

Btw thank you all SO much for the congrats here. All I want to do is squeeee out loud and having to shut up at work would have been 10 x harder without being able to celebrate here. Boobs increasingly tender and no AF this morning, so staying positive:-)

Musicgrrl · 30/11/2016 08:18

Which cycle was it for you and did you do anything different? So happy for you Smile

I think by the rule of threes that means we should be having another BFP soon! Who's up?
