Hello there

Is there anyone else on here trying for their first baby around the same age as me? 25/26? Would love to talk to someone about it as I am currently driving my husband mad with all the TTC chat!

Twisted it does sound like implantation bleeding, can you post a photo of the test? Perhaps try to get hold of a FRER and text again in the morning with FMU?

Twistedsister7 · 23/11/2016 12:27

Guys I need an opinion.

Af was scheduled for 21/11 as per Ovia. On 20/11 I had some brown blood when wiping but nothing in underwear. Used tampon & when removed it was minimal. Nothing else for rest of day. Occasional small amounts on 21/11 no tampon needed. Late on 21/11 after sex I had bright red blood/discharge. Used tampon. Monday 22/11 more spotting but no products needed. Today nothing at all. Is this AF or could it be implantation bleeding. I could have conceived around two weeks ago.

I tested this morning using an IC & I thought maybe a faint line but how far away do these spear from the control line.

I'd be grateful if anyone's opinions or suggestions.

firsttimer12345 · 22/11/2016 20:39

I think I'll have to get myself some OPKs. I only have 1 app on the go which says AF is due in a week. Think it will be the slowest week ever.

mrsjkerry · 22/11/2016 20:20

I have a different fertile window according to three different apps. Some of them suggest I am fertile now. Though despite testing everyday I am yet to pick up a positive on the OPKs. Anyone else?

Hi everyone,

I'm 26 and hoping to start TTC baby no1 soon. I had my mirena coil taken out last Thursday and still waiting for AF to start... Thought it had yesterday as was bleeding all day, then just stopped in the evening and nothing yet today :( never wished so much for it to start! Thinking about having a month normal cycle (if and when it starts) then start trying on second cycle. Have bought a clear blue fertility monitor to use, but not sure whether to count yesterday as CD1... Hoping the bleeding will start up again today/tomorrow!

x

My latest one is what if I have a baby and me and my husband die in a car crash - who will look after my baby! I think I'm insane!

No idea lol typical that as soon as we agree to ttc my normally perfect cycle plays up

mrsjkerry · 20/11/2016 18:44

What is going on with you alwaysnumber1?

Morning all

Havnt been on for a few days but my body still all over the place it seems Hmm

Finally came on on the 13th 10 days late seemed normal four days later started to finish as normal nothing yesterday then woke up this morning went to the toilet and after wiping had a clot (sorry) and what looked like old blood thought strange but ok but now it seems like im still bleeding slightly not mich but definitely fresh blood Hmm

So late AF normal miss a say then AF again?

user1471496670 · 17/11/2016 15:17

I kind of wish I'd bought some now just out of interest as I've no idea if or when I ovulated and have just guessed based on Withdrawal bleed as Cycle Day 1 and an average 30 day cycle. I'm probably completely wrong! Lol!
Will be able to probably keep better track after first proper period which should probably come end of the month!
On another note it's amazing how different it feels once you come off BC, my boobs are really full (DP noticed how much bigger), little veins on them, and I feel headachey and very nauseous - hopefully it's all signs of ovulating/my body recovering from the pill!

Twistedsister7 · 17/11/2016 13:02

It's our first cycle too but as I've heard apps can be fairly inaccurate I ordered OPKs just to really get to know my cycle rather than demand he perform on cue. Lol. They should arrive today but AF is due 21/11 so probably won't use til after.

firsttimer12345 · 17/11/2016 12:36

I think that's exactly how my DH feels twisted!! According to my probably completely wrong app, I'm ovulating today and we're both working from home... this is only our first cycle ttc so I haven't bought any OPKs yet.

Twistedsister7 · 17/11/2016 11:48

I think my DH is happy I've found some motivation because he is always ready & it's me who has the lower sex drive. Lol. I confessed to buying OPKs & educated him a little on the timing aspect. We're still not scheduling but I think we're both finding it interesting how little we actually knew about the finer points of conception. Lol.

user1471496670 · 15/11/2016 22:05

Ha...definitely the opposite for us! I'm nearly 39 and never even wanted children (my ex-DH didn't want any) but DP is super broody and suggested it and he can't wait to be a dad although like me he'd prefer we kept it relaxed and didn't start scheduling!
Tbh though when he's home we have sex several times a day as both have very high sex drives so not much more we can do as never miss a day! Lol

Twistedsister7 · 15/11/2016 21:35

I've already gone ttc mad & tested and I know it's crazy & even if I were that lucky it's way too soon and it bfn anyway which I knew it would be. And this is only the beginning.

In other news DH has been keen to dtd and I was worried he'd get nervous. Lol. We discussed this & we both want to ttc but I underestimated him & still thought he was doing this to keep me happy.

I still can't tell him I'm on Mumsnet & done a test & will be buying OPKs. Lol.

Happy thoughts to you all as we continue this journey.

user1471496670 · 15/11/2016 21:03

Hi ladies,
Well I should have ovulated on Sunday and we had absolutely loads of sex Friday-Today...lol!
DP is away for 4nts now for work so I guess I'm now entering my first ever 2ww. I now see how addictive it can become!
No EWCM at all though even though I had it every month whilst on the pill so unsure whether I'm ovulating. Will wait and see...

mrsjkerry · 13/11/2016 22:37

You and me both alwaysnumber1!! Good luck

alwaysnumber1 · 13/11/2016 20:52

well slight panic over

looks like AF has decided to turn up at last 10 days late but still
only light at the moment but thats pretty normal for me lower back is killing me which again is normal

never been so happy to see AF before can really start ttc now

mrsjkerry · 13/11/2016 19:30

Many people say your body only lets you conceive at the right time...I can't help thinking that because we are moving house at the end of this month that my body knows now isn't exactly the right time, even if I desperately want it!

MrsG280516 · 13/11/2016 18:31

Hi Virginia it's different for everyone, it can be 3-8 weeks usually. You never know, some people get pregnant before they even get their first AF.

alwaysnumber1 · 13/11/2016 18:06

he is trying and bless him he listens but doesnt really no what to say lol he is getting better though

Yeah thats what my other half said to lol cant we just have sex every day for it to happen so i had to explain about timeing ect

mrsjkerry · 13/11/2016 17:50

Girl trouble! How will he deal with all the problems that come with pregnancy!? My husband just rolls his eyes at all the counting and then says that if we just have lots of sex, like two times a day, it'll happen anyway Hmm
