Hello there

Is there anyone else on here trying for their first baby around the same age as me? 25/26? Would love to talk to someone about it as I am currently driving my husband mad with all the TTC chat!

Hi user! Welcome on board the crazy train haha! We've been trying since the start of October, nothing yet but keeping our fingers crossed for this week still.

I'm swaying between testing early on wed and telling DH or waiting until the weekend and trying to hold off until Christmas Day to tell him... He doesn't know my period due day but not sure I'd be able to hold him off until Xmas day if these wierd symptoms keep up....

ttcnovice · 11/12/2016 11:34

Hi user Smile I definitely agree, waiting is the hardest part and this is only my first cycle!

When is AF due for you?

user1475748062 · 11/12/2016 11:25

I am 25 and on cycle 3 of trying to conceive my first! If you need any support I'm your gal I'm finding the waiting so challenging! X

ttcnovice · 11/12/2016 10:24

Had an awful night's sleep - cramps all through - woke up expecting AF to have turned up really early and spoilt my hopes this month, but no sign. Also found it painful to sleep on my left (and I always sleep on my left!) as my boob would get a sharp pain, so that didn't help either. Still nauseous this morning, but to be honest that could just be lack of sleep!

A lot of friends/family members with DC have said one of the earliest symptoms they had was suddenly feeling exhausted charley! I'm excited for us both with these signs, but will be very pissed off with our bodies for getting our hopes up if it's BFNs this month Grin.

DH wants me to wait until Friday to test as we're both off work then, but there's just no way I'll be able to if I'm still feeling so strange!

charley2016 · 11/12/2016 08:46

Eek that sounds promising to TTC! Did you manage an ok sleep? Are you still nauseous? Im the same, I'm not sure what I'm feeling but it's definitely unusual.

I had exactly the same last night as the night before! Sudden exhaustion, slept instantly, woke in the night pouring with sweat and needing the toilet (never happens). But again, totally fine this morning except the agonising nipples - got my nephew who likes to lie on your chest!! Ouch!! also strangely woke with a load of EWCM which I never normally get.

I did an IC this morning as I wanted to check I hadn't got ovulation wrong and may have accidentally dipped a HPT in there too! Both were glaringly white though. I have 2 frers in the house but I'm going to try hold off using one until Wednesday at least! Are you testing then too?

ttcnovice · 11/12/2016 00:18

Do you think you'll test early charley or wait it out until the 16th? I'm toying with buying a FRER and testing on Wednesday, but I really should just wait! Strange that your pain is worse on the right.

I've feeling really nauseous all night - DH got in from work and the first thing he said was "God, you look awful!" - thanks DH!! Currently lying here trying to ignore cramps and a strange stretching/pulling sensation in my lower abdomen. Definitely feeling unusual anyway!

charley2016 · 10/12/2016 21:01

Amazing pink congratulations!!! We're you expecting it? I hope you have an amazing 9 months!

TTC yes same as you I think. Ovia for some reason is saying the 14th but last 2 cycles have been 27 days so I think definitely nearer the 16th. Have been totally symptom free since the afternoon except stilly nipples against my bra is agony but funny enough much worse on the right. How are you feeling?

ttcnovice · 10/12/2016 14:40

Sorry AF got you mrsj Sad

ttcnovice · 10/12/2016 14:40

charley I'm keeping my Fx for you with those symptoms! When is AF due for you, I seem to remember it's around the same time as me (16th)?

I've had some nausea too as well as having a strange taste in my mouth back again the last few days, and been feeling rather bloated. Probably still too soon for it to mean anything, but who knows!

ttcnovice · 10/12/2016 14:08

Wow pink congratulations!! Amazing news!

pinksparkles88 · 10/12/2016 13:47

Hi to all the new people! Good luck

Well I said I wouldn't symptom spot but really I had no symptoms too spot anyway... until last night! I was sat on the sofa and was suddenly exhausted and sound asleep in 2 mins. Woke up absolutely drenched in sweat, hair soaked the lot! Went through to bed and then woke up freezing. Woke in the morning feeling fine. We DTD and I actually screamed when DH touched my chest. Felt totally fine apart from that until I got in the shower and came over all dizzy and had to sit down on the edge of the bath. Have felt fine since and I'm probably just over analysing but you know

Twistedsister7 · 10/12/2016 12:26

Raspberry - congrats. That's excellent.

Conception is such a personal thing & everyone has their own way. Just be there for your friend I guess xx

I stopped receiving email notifications for this group for some reason! I'm back...and sorry to report that I came on to the worst period of my life Thursday evening. So third cycle is a fail and onwards to my fourth...

I came off of the pill in May after 10+ years with the idea of using condoms for a few months to let my periods return etc before TTC

DH and I agreed no kits or Drs spots until we'd been trying for 12 months unsuccessfully.

We have been very lucky - stopped using protection on August 8th before we got married on the 13th and fell on the 18th, DD #1 is due on May 24th.

As I mentioned - I just worry my friend isn't giving her body time to sort itself out naturally

Twistedsister7 · 10/12/2016 10:48

Implant as bc, was removed 7/11. First time ttc. I had periods (or so I thought) last year on bc & based on that data I was due AF on 21/11. Never happened bar the spotting mentioned below. That's why I started on OPKs & so reassuring to find I was working. Lol. It was quite scary though & even did pregnancy tests but all bfn. Af now predicted for 19/12 so we will see.

Ttc is hard & made me realise I was quite uninformed on the technicalities.

RasperryInAMelon · 10/12/2016 10:24

Twisted we're you on the pill before TTC? How long for and how long have you been off of it?

Twistedsister7 · 10/12/2016 09:40

Amz I still haven't. Ovia now predicts 19/12 based on data like ovulation tests I guess. I had about 3/4 days of light spotting & bloody cm 2 weeks after removal though x

Amz26 · 10/12/2016 01:28

Twisted how long did it take for you to get your first AF after coming off your birth control? still waiting for mine :(

is it possible to ovulate after 1st day of stopping the pill? I'm sure you can but just wanted to make sure!! I know it's unlikely but in theory I could of missed my ovulation this cycle 🤔

Twistedsister7 · 10/12/2016 01:02

Raspberry I'm in first cycle & using ovulation tests. It's about getting to know your body, potentially after years of tricking it with hormones. For me it was reassuring to know I was in fact ovulating as I should rather then coercing my dh into sex & baby making. Try not to judge & be there to support if she is going to far. It's easily done.

RasperryInAMelon · 09/12/2016 22:38

I'm interested to know ladies... at a fairly young age, TTC for the first time. Those of you who are using ovulation tests - how long have you been trying?

A friend of mine has been trying for two months (first time) and has started buying tests already, I'm worried that she's obsessing over it already and that could hinder her chances?

ttcnovice · 09/12/2016 22:24

Hi Amz Smile welcome!

Oh no claire Shock** that must have been awful when you realised!!
