Hello there

Is there anyone else on here trying for their first baby around the same age as me? 25/26? Would love to talk to someone about it as I am currently driving my husband mad with all the TTC chat!

Congratulations London!

Quick question (sorry if too much info) but what sort of CM is normal before AF? I've never paid much attention but now I'm hoping for it to come (or a BFP) I'm sort of looking for signs something is happening!

I'm getting clumpy white pink tinged discharge (sorry I know TMI). It's not thrush but isn't pleasant and I don't remember having it like this before?

Thanks ladies.....!!

bluebell17 · 31/12/2016 15:15

Congrats London!! Amazing news!

Twistedsister7 · 31/12/2016 13:09

Happy new year London, what a way to start xx

ttcnovice · 31/12/2016 12:30

Congrats london Smile what a great start to 2017 for you!

londonfeather · 31/12/2016 11:47

Well I've had a bit of a shock this morning - after pains in my side and a funny feeling in the veins in my thighs, did a test to see if I could drink tonight and this happened. Happy but a lot to get my head around!! After not getting pregnant last month I had resigned myself to a bit more of a wait.

Good luck to you all!

You never know mrsj I think implantation can happen at any point between 6 and 12 DPO, so at 7DPO you're within that timeframe! Fx for a positive reason for you not feeling well beyond your travelling and the cold weather!

mrsjkerry · 30/12/2016 21:33

Hugs TTC. I am sitting here feeling sick as a dog but telling myself it's the cold weather and travelling I've done today. Still 5 days from a pregnancy test according to Ovia but has been a week since estimated ovulation.

Trying not to get my hopes up...

Evening all Smile how's everyone getting on?

I'm on CD14 today (or maybe only 13 as AF appeared late at night) and no signs of a positive OPK yet. Ovulated on CD16 last cycle so have been DTD the last couple of days just assuming it'll be the same.

Been using preseed but not properly with the applicators yet - think we'll give that a go tomorrow though! Wish me luck for that, sure it'll be straight forward not Grin.

bluebell17 · 29/12/2016 21:27

Thanks twisted. Will keep you all posted. I've just posted in another forum too - I've had a weird, incredibly light AF which has lasted ten days. Finally gone away and now I have cramps again and feel emotional. Who knows what is going on inside my body. But, let's wait and see. Fingers crossed for you for your January BFP!! X

Twistedsister7 · 29/12/2016 21:06

BFP not bog....

Good luck feather, fx for you x

Twistedsister7 · 29/12/2016 21:04

Bluebell - it's a sensitive time so taking it to heart is to be expected. I really think after 6 months & no bog I will suggest telling them because then maybe she'd think twice. She honestly means well & it's her dream to have a gc local as her two others live the other end of the country but if she knows we are ttc I think she would say less to me. We'll see. Maybe this is my month. It's going to be a long two weeks.

Let me know how you get on too xx

bluebell17 · 29/12/2016 19:39

Twisted - I know the feeling. I'm on cycle 3 now and had two very horrible cycles since coming off bc. In laws keep asking when we will have a child, commenting on my natural skills with taking care of nephew etc and it makes me feel bad that we haven't been successful yet. I told DH too that perhaps we should tell them as it might make them stop with the comments. I think I just take it all to heart too much though!

user1482261465 · 29/12/2016 19:35

Hi Xmas Smile My DH and I are ttc our first baby and I'm 27. It's hard to explain how much ttc takes over your brain sometimes even to your other half lol xx

londonfeather · 29/12/2016 17:24

I'm set to test any day now, but I'm away from home so trying to hold off. The last 10 days been getting stabbing pains in my side and a weird feeling in the veins in my thighs which has been odd. Boobs feel normal though - so who knows!

Twistedsister7 · 29/12/2016 13:22

Franny I had that removed on 7th Nov & predicted af for 21/11. Had minimal bleeding I classed as spotting but having had second af right on cue I now believe that was first af. I dismissed it as before bc I was a heavy bleeder so expected same. Seems not the case.

It's frustrating waiting & I really got my hopes up that I was pg. easy said but try to restrain yourself lol.

Twistedsister7 · 29/12/2016 13:19

MrsJ I'm now in tww & symptom spotting even though I know I'm always tired & the pain was ovulation. Siiiigh.

mrsjkerry · 29/12/2016 13:16

Anyone else in the 2WW and symptom spotting? So far I have sleeplessness, swollen boobs and indigestion. Plus a generally fuzzy head like a hangover. Not unusual for me, and have been here before, so know full well it's not necessarily pregnancy related...

Hello all!! I'm TTC for the first time as well. I'll be 25 next month. I've been really impatient and driving my fiancé insane. I recently (3wks ago) got off nexplanon after having it in for 6 years. Still no period yet not sure how long it's supposed to take but it's driving me insane!!!!

Twistedsister7 · 29/12/2016 08:06

88 same here, it's so frustrating.

My sister & best friend know but sister has her own stuff going on & bf not child friendly lol.

Mumsnet is great though.

88claire · 28/12/2016 23:56

Twisted

Sorry to hear you are having a hard time, chin up Flowers. We haven't told parents yet either but my sister and best friends know. I want to tell people but so worried things will take ages!

I know there was girls at school with me who fell pregnant after one drunken night... How?!? Confused

Twistedsister7 · 28/12/2016 23:14

My first cycle off bc was 40+ & so frustrating. Although looking back I had a few days of what I thought was spotting. After another cycle I decided that could have been af but it's all educational. I'm on cycle 2 actively trying as didn't count first long cycle.

It's ironic that you spend teenage years & early 20s thinking one mishap will have you pg yet when you want that it's a science. Soooo frustrating.

No one knows we are ttc & my mil keeps going on how she'd like a gc & we should try harder. I may say to DH that after 6 months, if no bfp then we should tell parents.

Sorry for the ramble, feeling really negative lately xx

88claire · 28/12/2016 23:02

Lozaloo

Yep I feel your pain... Im currently day 44 with no sign of a period Angry. I've just remembered I took the pill for a month two months ago to stop my period while I was on holiday so hoping that's the reason and it might sort itself out. I'm also having bloods and seeing a doctor just to make sure! I'm only on cycle number one but it's frustrating not being able to move on and try again with no period!

Lozalooloo3 · 28/12/2016 22:40

Anybody else have really long cycles? I've had two since coming off the pill (1st was a withdrawal bleed) then it was 38 days until af showed up. Tired to track ovulation with the clear blue kit and got a positive on CD18, so I'm currently 10days PO and have horrible cramps today, on and off, and also a shooting pain in my V region (sorry TMI) I tortured myself my doing a PG Test today and of course it was BFN ... I know it's only very early in our TTC journey, but you just can't help put wonder can you? X
Fx to all x x x x

mrsjkerry · 28/12/2016 22:26

I am in the 2WW as well twisted. Just want to test now...!

Twistedsister7 · 28/12/2016 22:05

Woooo finally a positive opk. All a little late this month. I said I wasn't going to use but I caved when my body wasn't doing what was expected. Fx for the tww now. Anyone with me?
