Bare with me I'm not quite with the abbreviation lingo yet so apologies.
I'm 31, and hoping to be adding to my family asap. I'm on my second month of trying after having my coil removed. I've never really had periods whilst using the coil and unsure about my cycle so we've just been having sex a lot and hoping for the best. I began what I think was my first AF post coil on Friday.
So if anyone is as obsessed with me about ttc and wanting to chat please do. It's hard keeping all this at bay with my friends and family.

It was asda ones I used. Although I used my last one last Friday when I ovulated. Need to get some cheap ones as they aren't cheap over the month Hmm

I just went through an hour of checking my charts (been keeping track since Jan incase I had a period over the wedding) and some of my cycles are so short it has me down as ovulating right at the end of my period. It has that down for last week too but I obviously did tests mon-fri and put my ovulation in for Friday as it was dark. However with my symptom spotting I went on dreaded Google and found out that people can get positive ovulation sticks when the are early pregnant. So of course I convinced myself that the app was right with predicted ovulation on CD6 and that I might actually be 10DPO. I mean I'm sure that's absolute rubbish and I'm just crazy but it shows how consuming this whole TTC thing is! I think next month I'll do the ovulation sticks right through to save me going mad!

That's given me hope, I'm using cheapos off eBay, clear blue and boots 😂

Hi Bean, good luck with TTC are you starting now?

NW, I've never had the coil but I suppose it would make sense to have a bit of bleeding with it being removed. Just keep up the OPKs and hopefully you will see something soon! I'm on day 16, I started using the sticks at day 9 and I didn't really see anything until day 11 and then day 12 was darker and day 13 was super clear so may be soon Smile

Nw85 · 07/11/2016 14:56

I'm on day 11... if we can class bleeding as AF which I'm now second guessing could of been down to the coil being took out?
It was light and only two days of red blood.. but having not had a period in years I'm not sure.
I'd like to get pregnant this month but also just a clear ovulation then period so I can see what I'm doing.
I hate feeling ill at work, feel like time drags longer. Hopefully home time soon then a date with a duvet.
What day are you on?

Hi! Would be good to chat to someone in the same boat. We're TTC baby no1 atm - although its my husbands 2nd. The waiting is killing me! Good luck! x

charley2016 · 07/11/2016 14:39

Unfortunately not! Trying to concentrate on work but my stomach has a dull throbbing pain and I have just developed my first ever cold sore Confused think I'm broken haha!

What cycle day are you on?

Nw85 · 07/11/2016 14:32

Absolutely no line on today's stick but I have digging pains in my left hip.
Honestly this is frustrating me and only on second month.
Oh no charley, really hope you feel better soon, can you sleep it off? Hi rainy!

charley2016 · 07/11/2016 10:30

Hi Rainy! Fingers crossed for you that you get the ovulation soon!!

I feel absolutely horrific today! I'm never I'll but think I must be coming down with something. I'm exhausted this morning (slept 9hrs) my back is still absolute agony, my teeth and jaw are aching and I'm full of gas and can't get off the toilet! So probably not symptom spotting and just a case of being run down Sad

Rainydayzandmondays13 · 06/11/2016 14:59

Hi all how are you?
hope you don't mind me joining.

I'm 29 (almost 30) and ttc #2. We haven't been trying for long but been DTD a lot lol. I came off the depo about 4 months ago but af is still erratic. Grrrrr. I've also been doing ov tests but all negative at the moment.

Nw85 · 06/11/2016 10:44

Symptom spotting is fun though I think, although no symptoms of anything other than mild psychotic tendency which I have all month round anyway.
Well line on stick was lighter this morning using my first wee too. All I want to know is if my body is ovulating so I know I'm doing what I should this month.

NW that's funny about the jeans! You never know, fashion could change again in 9 monthsWink hopefully you will have a super dark line today, mine was quite dark one day and the next was tons darker than the test, that was Friday.

I know I'm probably overthinking and it's a coincidence, but I swear my back is so painful today that I'm having to bend to the side just to stand up! Sad

Nw85 · 05/11/2016 18:22

RE checked line on ovulation and it appears a little darker, few shades lighter than the control line.
Honestly I'm finding these things confusing

We've been to look at prams and I'm currently just sat sorting through my old maternity clothes.... this is coincidental as I've just moved house so we've decided b
Keep instead of having buy more... trouble is I was last pregnant when bootcut jeans were in fashion.
I think I'm going mental... maternity clothes and prams in one day.

Also faint line in ovulation stick so that's heading in the right direction yeah?

Good luck for this cycle mrsmack!! It's horrible isn't it ! Someone from the family seems to be asking me to go out for dinner and drinks every weekend, I'm sure it's because they want to check if I'm still drinking Hmm

mrsmck2016 · 05/11/2016 16:05

Hi all, hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend. Af has moved on so ready to start another week of fun followed by the hateful 2ww Confused bought grapefruit juice, pineapple, decaf coffee and more vitamins to prep. Charley, we're recently wed too, already feeling the eyes glaring and wondering if we have news to share yet Blush

charley2016 · 05/11/2016 15:26

Ooh that sounds good! I'll have to investigate! We're just back from honeymoon 2 weeks ago so I'm still eating and drinking absolute rubbish as I'm trying to get caught up with 3 weeks off work and uni. Just managed to DTD again this afternoon, not sure if it can have any effect after the dark ov test yesterday but that's me done worrying about it. Going to try relax for the next 2 weeks as it's probably ridiculous to think it will happen after 1 cycle Hmm

charley2016 · 05/11/2016 11:05

Sounds like you have a lot on Laura! Hopefully it will at least mean that the week goes quickly for you!
My hubby is the same, said he didn't want to properly try, just see what happens, but now he's already asking if I've ovulated and when we can eat. He's 10 yrs older than me and had very tough teen years so I'm scared we find it difficult because I know he will think it's his fault as he says quite often he thinks he will find it difficult!
Would be amazing if you had fallen without really trying. Would give us some hope too as since joining in starting to think the more I read the more difficult it all looks!!
I'll defo be looking out for your results on Wednesday! Xxx

XxLaura37xX · 05/11/2016 10:50

Feeling worried as no physical signs just exhausted but I have 4 year old with condition that has me at min fighting with fully assisted needs school to get her into private school with round clock health care xx

We have put of having another until partners divorce finally through and were in perfect position to announce to our family's as we both have family from previous xx and my 4 year old went down like lead balloon xx it's all a bit messed up xx
We booked a scan for Wednesday so all going to plan will see if pregnant xx I just want to sleep until I find out and stop worrying xx we soooo wanted another next year and when I seen positive last week I didn't want but now I want more than anything xxx

charley2016 · 05/11/2016 10:44

Haha I love the expression 'cum bucket' literally just made me laugh out loud!!! I'm hoping that now I know I've ovulated I will chill out a little be for the next 3 weeks.... Although I'm not promising haha! So at least if you're using the sticks, you can have a little rest after Smile

Nw85 · 05/11/2016 10:36

Well we're still at it every day.. I do feel a bit like a "cum bucket" tbh (sorry for crude language) also I've heard about checking cervical mucus... but if I'm honest I'm not doing a thorough clean up after sex so how do I tell the difference between seamen and mucus. I'm going start using ovulation tests from Tuesday onwards as I guess of I had a normal cycle then I'd be ovulating Thursday...
We're putting so much effort in to getting pregnant that it's all we're both thinking about.

Hope scan goes well and it is a baby in there :-) don't forget sperm can live up to ,5 days in the body and you could of ovulated late that month.

Good luck Lyndsey. I'm going to do the same and try and gold out for period date but I'm already betting I won't! Grin

Laura, that does seem a bit strange! Although I'm sure stranger things have happened! It may be higher level of Hgc and therefore showing later than you are. Twins maybe? I don't think menopause would give you a high enough level to be showing 2-3 weeks but I could be wrong! I'll have my fingers firmly crossed for you! How are you feeling?

XxLaura37xX · 05/11/2016 10:22

Everything X for you Smile
