Bare with me I'm not quite with the abbreviation lingo yet so apologies.
I'm 31, and hoping to be adding to my family asap. I'm on my second month of trying after having my coil removed. I've never really had periods whilst using the coil and unsure about my cycle so we've just been having sex a lot and hoping for the best. I began what I think was my first AF post coil on Friday.
So if anyone is as obsessed with me about ttc and wanting to chat please do. It's hard keeping all this at bay with my friends and family.

Oh dear NW hope you're ok! That must have been scary! Glad you are still in with a chance for a BFP though! Really hoping you get some good news at the weekend Smile

I had a car accident this morning, someone went in the back of me. Went to work and got sent home. Went to the hospital and got checked over. In a bit of pain but can only take paracetamol because of possible pregnancy.
Hi to all new comers, hoping all nice balanced and easy cycles for all. I'm a bit crappy today but have been on and off throughout the month. AF due Friday, tests showing negative so far.

Hi! Can I join?
I'm TTC number 6 Shock can't believe I'm saying that!
I've been pregnant 9 times, 5 lovely DC.
Two at university, youngest is 5.
I'm pretty sure everyone thinks I'm insane but I'm 37 and feel there's room for just one more.
Had a m/c about 18 months ago, but career put me off trying again. Finally got promotion in the summer and things are going well so have decided to go for it.
We've been using the rhythm method since then and had a few 'fuck it' moments but nothing has happened. This is our first official month and I'm on CD20 although I have short cycles going anywhere from 21-28 days.
I'll give it a few months and try ov sticks if nothing happens I think!

Mummyme87 · 22/11/2016 16:08

GN06 - This is so true, what a day to my ladies at work.

Must be ovulating.... can bloody feel it. Will do an OPK, probably negative 😖

GN06 · 22/11/2016 15:45

Hey Mrs, thank you. I can't (but also can) quite believe how different everyone is! I feel like if I search the internet for long enough I'll find the answer somewhere... Haha.

mrsbarnettsbaby · 22/11/2016 13:49

I had my coil out on 25/07. Bled for 2 days. Had really heavy AF 36 days later. Then had a 67 day cycle with really light AF. Now on cycle 3, cd18. Good luck.

GN06 · 22/11/2016 13:09

Hi everyone,

Bit late to the thread, but hoping to join in with you all. Had my mirena coil taken out last week - 17/11/16 and waiting for my period to start. Had light bleeding 2 days after and then thought that my period started yesterday, had cramps and bleeding all day, was pleased (have never wished for my period so much!) but then totally dried up last night and only a tiny bit of a bleed today. Confused as to whether that should be counted as CD1?! Hoping that it starts up again today....
Have bought a fertility monitor which requires me to start using it when I first get my period... So heres to waiting!!!

Nw - did you have the mirena coil? I had it in for about 3 years and no bleeding in that time, I have no idea what my cycles were like, I can't remember and didn't feel the need to be an expert in them back then!!

x

Hi ladies, I'm am about to start TTC DC2 post combined pill. With DS I was pregnant whilst on the pill due to a few missed pills on holiday. I'm having a pill free cycle this month and on it in my next cycle. I think I may be ovulating soonish, had lots of slightly sharp tingly feelings in my right lower abdo/groin area all yesterday, EWCM today. I have tried a few opk which show a faint line but apparently a faint line means nothing... will test again today. I'm CD11 today, pre pill I was a 26-28day cycle.

I would like to be chilled about this but have a feeling I will be neurotic

DrRBannerx · 21/11/2016 10:03

Fx for you for Monday, really hoping it's good news x

Nw85 · 21/11/2016 09:59

Grrr how annoying DR.
Well BFN here this am, said if no AF by next Monday I'll test again and if no AF the following Monday I'll go back to the gp :-(

Oh I give up, I keep typing long messages just for my phone to freeze and they delete the whole thing! Angry

Nw85 · 20/11/2016 20:06

Eeek dr, everything crossed for you. I've agreed to do a test tomorrow 11DPO. Other half is convinced I'm pregnant which is just making me nervous as I'm not really feeling it. Had cramps every day this week and feel a bit weird but more like PMS.
With my other pregnancies I just knew straight away so I think it'd be the same this time. Also my boob's were already larger by time I tested, they've not grown a mm

The coil was awful for me, I'd never do it again! Dtd lots over fw so Fx x

Nw85 · 20/11/2016 09:47

I had no problems with it. Had to have the strings trimmed so that it wasn't felt but apart from it being painful when fitted it worked perfectly. No periods, no pain just got on with my life.
Big sympathies for you, I'm coming to the end of my second cycle and honestly just feel deflated. Hats off to those trying for years

Haha I seem to have the worst period this month! I normally get cramps but in actually doubled over! I had periods all the time I was on cetrazette (although more like every 6 weeks) which I think is pretty unusual but I definitely had less pain on it. How long did you have the coil? My SIL and auntie both had it and their partners said they could feel it so it kind of freaks me out a little Confused

Nw85 · 20/11/2016 08:30

Think I have PMS symptoms, feel like I'm dying. Put the coil back in and give me no periods please

charley2016 · 19/11/2016 08:56

Yeh it's so frustrating! I've honestly felt so bad the last week I don't think I'll count anything as a sign ever againConfused

Nw85 · 19/11/2016 08:17

Oh Charley I'm gutted for you. At least you'll be able try again and waiting over. I'm fed up of all the are you or aren't you. You can google anything and it being a sign of pregnancy

charley2016 · 19/11/2016 07:58

Well I think I'm out.... Just went to check my CM and looks like AF is on her way Sad

DrRBannerx · 18/11/2016 15:47

Thanks charley now just patiently waiting! X

charley2016 · 18/11/2016 10:53

Yay looking good Dr! After you get your darkest strip, it take 12-36 hours for the egg to release so make sure you do tomorrow too Wink

DrRBannerx · 18/11/2016 10:44

It's positive now! Now the waiting game for oh to get home, I'm so worried were going to miss it.
My last pregnancy I knew it was negative, I got used to it and said we will try next month and my af pains were really strong, but it wasn't, I was actually pregnant x

Hi there... lookimg for TTC buddy
charley2016 · 18/11/2016 10:30

Dr glad you're starting to see something on the tests! Enjoy the next few days Wink I've only used the sticks for 5 days until I got one that was super dark. Kind of wishes I kept going with them to see how long it lasted though! I didn't even know you had to hold for 4 hours so I'm not sure how much it matters as when I'm home I'm constantly weeing Blush

NW you still have plenty time yet but I know how you feel. I've resigned myself to the fact it's a bfn now too! I was so optimistic last week and nothing's changed in terms of symptoms etc but between reading the threads of people saying it's normally all in your head when you start, and then testing too early and getting the bfn....
Also the more I look at my last cycles the more I think I'm not actually able to guess when I'm due on anyway! Sad

Nw85 · 18/11/2016 08:02

I'm not feeling optimistic TBH, think a negative test that should of been negative even if positive has completely dampened me.
