greedyforbabies · 17/02/2007 11:47

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo! we could ALL start emailing you now rahrah!

i would be careful giving out your email address on here............there is a weirdo hanging around this thread trying to sell dodgy viagra!!!!!!

mum03 - are you really going to wait till the morning? actually, i should be more realistic cos last month i had 16 high temps and the software (ff) was telling me i could be pg and then af arrived so i shouldnt get your hopes up ..........sorry!

rahrah1 · 17/02/2007 11:42

Do you think I should change my FF to show the faint lines on my OPK as positives and then it will show I've ovulated as FF is showing I have not ovulated even though my temps have increased?

rahrah1 · 17/02/2007 11:00

MrsMcJnr...MrsMcJnr....MrsMcJnr...MrsMcJnr

I am just hoping that because af finished early that I will o early, as each time I go pg was when I o'd early, so I am thinking positive for this next cycle. I would have loved to join you on the october thread but it was you that said I should wait to get pg in march wasn't it!!!!!

greedyforbabies · 17/02/2007 10:26

mum03............you are killing me! fancy dropping the pot of wee! how daft are you! my temp was only 36.7 this morning and i am pg! is it still above the cover line?

Whoops pressed post before I had finished

Angel - was going to say I know that feeling of writing a bit post only to loose the whole lot!!!! good job I posted rather than lost that last one heheheh!

Lottie I was not thinking you were negative, just the wise voice that I needed to hear, I really don't think I am pg, I am sure that all the sign's and symptoms are purely coincidental. It is too easy to talk myself into thinking that I am pg, and not easy to realise that it was just a light af and get on with focussing ahead. I need people to keep my feet on the ground, you helped - honestly.

Honey - post temps as long as you feel comfortable, and don't go rushing off leaving us too soon, are you going to join the october antenatal thread now? Perhaps you have already. Also do you know your edd?

Ready - did you get that commission for brokering the Rah/MrsMc deal!??? Haven't heard much from you recently, have you gone quiet on us, or is it just that everyone else are turning into right little chatterboxes??? Did you ever find out how we post details to just mates on this site?

Iwill - How are you doing>? are you due to ov soon?

everytime I go to hit post, someone else has posted.... thanks for the help seaside, I am certain now that the temp rise yesterday was just a blip, and that all is as it should be, I am now pleased that I did not test this morning.
Hope everyone has a good saturday...

Mum03 - sorry about temp drop
Lottie seems to be the voice of reason - after reading my new TCOYF book last night I did see some examples of charts where the temp drop does not occur till a few days after AF has arrived.

ammylovesolivia - I know how you feel about being excited abut the temp rise - I was like that this month as it is my first month of temping too! I have never been so pleased to know that OV and fertile phase was over!!
Also in the TCOYF book it says some women are slower to respond to the progesterone rise that occurs after ov - for most the rise happens within 2 days of ov but for a few it can take longer. However - like lottie says it could be that you ov later than you thought. Of course your ov day can vary month to month too. I am boringly regular - before temping I thought I ov'd on CD12 as that was my first peak from the OPK but now seeing my temp rise happened on CD15 - now I think I actually OV more like CD13.

Minxi - good that you got good timing before going away to relax, how great is that!

Ammy - remember your temp does not go up until after ovulation, if you are getting ewcm it is a sign that ov may be about to come or has started, you need to look for when ewcm stops, but if you were ttc you would be bd-ing when you see ew as it is a potential fertile sign.

Lottie - thank you for being the voice of reason, and for telling me it took 5 days for your temps to come down below coverline last time, if it hadn't been for the temp going up I don't think I would have thought twice about it. But it has started the downward trend today thankfully.

Greedy - will be thinking of you over the weekend, as monday fast approaches.

Honey - has the whole excitement started to sink in yet!

Whootle - what temp today?????......

Rah - no going near any tests today, it is so good to see you and pootle keeping good temps still.

seaside = have you been reading and re-reading your TCOYF book since it arrived? I have never even seen the book, but so many people quote from it,that I think I must have 'read' most of it by now, it seems that it is the ttc bible!

MrsMc - hope that the next few weeks with boss leaving do not create too much stress for you, and it is good that you have not told them that you are pg - is there a good chance that you will be offered partnership?

Fettle - you are quiet here at the moment, is all ok still?

Angel -

Just adding my temp- going to stay hovering around for a bit. Probably wont post too much as I am going to try and forget about being PG for a while, because it is so early and I just start worrying about it all going wrong. I need to get a few weeks under my belt before i really accept it all.
Lots of love, I will be keeping my eyes on you and your temps! Lots of love again.xx

I think the temp going down finally answers my question, although it is still above coverline, but fate took a hand this morning, I peed in a pot and then managed to drop the lot!!! So no test, but I think it must have just been a very light af this time. I am back to spotting this morning, so in a few more days I hope I will be back with having fun with dh (provided he has gone back to deciding to ttc!) I will come back later to post to everyone.

This sounds bizarre but I just can't imagine it happening!

When it does, it will be like when you ladies wait for your BFP!! I'll be announcing it. Might put it in the local paper.

Can you tell this is my first month temping??!! I love it!!
