Oh Rarrah, I am so deeply sorry to hear of your loss it must be so hard on you both. It makes pefect sense about your body then, I know that fact alone doesnt help though.

Well Rahrah, I am a classically trained cellist although I mostly play/sessions for pop bands/tv/commercials. BUT I am also a healer and a life coach. The life coach side came from always being able to help people find what was important to them and what/where they really needed/wanted to be in life. Then went and did a qualification to have the bit of paper. Its a cool job seeing clients achieve something that is truly meaningful to them. The healer side comes from a very early age of being able to intuit things about people. I am now combining the cello with healing and loving every minute of it. Off to India to play and about to help organize a big healing concert which I am also playing at and make a healing album. Also shortly starting to work at a new healing centre.
I have also lost a lot of people in my life from my dad when I was 3 to my best friend and huge amount of people in between.
There are many things you can do reflexology is a good start. What happens as far as I see/believe is everything we ever do gets stored in every cell in our body - even small things like stepping on a stone and the pain is still in there until we release it. What is needed is to release this physically and emotionally.
Emotionally is often the hardest because not everyone wants to face it. One reason for this is that they are not ready to let go, as they see letting go as letting go of the love and its not. What you are actually doing is letting go of the pain. They may cry a bit but there is often more to release. This release of the emotions will also have a direct effect on you physically. Do you want to speak about this off this link? As there is a lot more to say but i dont want to do it if it doesnt feels appropriate to do it in this space.x

Thanks everyone...

Ready - you are very supportive...but honest

seaside72 - I will have a look at the website, thank you for all the info.. I have IBS as well... So maybe it can help with that as well.

mum03 - my singing voice is evil, but I tried to join in... It's a beautiful song but the way I'm feeling I just don't think any of my dreams will come true... as he was here and now gone..

I'm going to disappear for the rest of the day wallow in self pity and try and pick myself up to fight another shitty day.. But thanks everyone and hopefully normal service will resume and I will be a bit happier and positive. Have a good day XX

seaside72 · 18/02/2007 12:58

Good effort mum03!!

mum03 · 18/02/2007 12:56

Ready and Rahrah - you both need cheering up, so join in with me and sing ===

"Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I? "

ok that is not a good song to cheer you up, lets try another:

I'm singing in the rain
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feeling
I'm happy again

I'm laughing at clouds
So dark up above
'Cause the sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love

Let the stormy clouds chase
Everyone from the place
Come on with the rain
I've a smile on my face

I'll walk down the lane
With a happy refrain
'Cause I'm singing
Just singing in the rain.

I N T E R L U D E

I'm singing in the rain
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feeling
I'm happy again

I'm laughing at clouds
So dark up above
'Cause the sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love

Let the stormy clouds chase
Everyone from the place
Come on with the rain
I've a smile on my face

I'll walk down the lane
With a happy refrain
'Cause I'm singing
Just singing in the rain.

Ok so if that doesnot work then, you suggest something!!!!! If you are both going to be with me for another month here, we should find our theme tune to hum when we get low again. I hope my daftness puts a little smile on your face, cause you both mean alot to me.

rahrah - have you ever tried cranio-sacral therapy?- it is hard to explain - take a look at the official website for explanation. I have recommended it to quite a few people and you have to be open to the fact that it is quite an inexplicable therapy! ie most people don't "get" it - cos they want to understand it and if you are not trained it is hard to understand. But for me I just didn't ask why but accepted it made my symptoms go away (mainly for IBS) I think it looks at re-aligning you from your inner organs to spine etc.

I have had it for a wide range of issues and my original therapist used to tell me she had had great success with fertility issues. She also put great importance on the fact that our bodies hold onto stress and shock for years and years (sometimes from birth- in fact she said many peoples back probs come from bad /awkward birth or childhood accident/fall!) and it can hinder our ability to heal/function properly - so a bit linked to what angelfire said. SO given what you have been through physically and emotionally in the year it could make sense?

I am actually going for a session tomorrow - as have just found therapist near me (used to go in London) My new plan for TTC 07 is to try all the alternative therapies that have helped me in the past with health issues.

Anyway - just a thought!

mum03 · 18/02/2007 12:43

Rah - {{{{hugs}}}} to you, I was so hopeful for you this month, I would start to say it ain't over til its over, but I know that is not helpful, I wish there was something that we could do to take the pain away. Be nice to yourself today, do whatever it is that makes you feel good. For me it would be a box of chocs a hot water bottle, blanket and a good old sloppy rom-com on the tv. What will you do to treat yourself today?

Ready - looks like you are getting hotter, did you get that ellusive+opk?

Angel - lol at your dp being so enthusiastic!

Iwill - hope you are having a good weekend.

Lottie - hope that you had a good night with all that red wine!

Happy Sunday everyone. I haven't ovulated yet If I ovulate today that should mean a luteal phase of 12 days... is that ok??? Should I get the TCOYF book?? Would it help me do you think? Or would it make me worse?

Have to say I am having a little bit of a down day... I know it isn't like me to be pessimistic, but I really don't think that this is my month (sorry Greedy!) we have been doing it every other day, so not worried about the effort side of things... I just think there is something wrong with me Sorry for being so mopey.

Fettle, I don't think I will do the OPKs again, they have just put doubts into my mind about the reliability of my temps. Which is pretty daft since there seems to be a clear pattern to my temp shifts I just don't know. Hope that you are feeling great by the way

Mum03, tee hee, fancy putting your RL family before your tempbuddy family! Hope all is well

Honeyapple, Relax and take it easy!! I think you are right to stop temping, it may only cause you to worry if you have a slight deviation in temps, and that's not a good idea!

Greedy, Thinking of you tomorrow!!

Rahrah, (((hugs))) Oh honey, I'm so sorry to hear you down... You really do need to find a way to relax about ttc, I know, it's easy for me to sit here and suggest it (bloody cheek of me huh!!) You have been through so much, and you really don't deserve all of this! Just remember, you have been through a traumatic experience, and it has affected you very much. I think you are putting far too much pressure on yourself to be "back to normal". 28 days is a good length of cycle though, and you should perhaps forget your DPO this month, as ovulation wasn't clearcut... but that can happen to any woman and at any time, it's just a pain in the rear that it happened this month for you. But try not to worry (you can slap me if you like ) so much. I wish I could say better things than I do, I am pretty useless at being supportive, but I so hope you fall pg really soon ((hugs))

Seaside, ooooh creme eggs at your thoughts of early menopause from the night sweats, glad your mind is at ease on that. I know what you mean though, my mum has already gone through her menopause, and isn't quite 50. It is a worry.

Lottie, you boozy thing you Hope you had a great night though, and took your mind off of everything! Your temp is high, I am inclined to say that it is a mixture of booze and hormones!! So fingers and toes crossed

Minxi, liking that, what is wrong with us, nothing, it's just taking time!! It is so hard, and each month it gets harder and harder. I am at the stage now (quite ridiculously I know) where I am wondering at what point I will just give up! I am not the type of person who gives up either, so it is a really disconcerting feeling!!

Angelfire, LOL at your DH thinking every day is best Well, it worked for Mr&MrsMcJnr, so it's always worth a shot I haven't done my OPK yet, I do it about 5pm. Maybe that's where I have been going wrong?? I have a bad feeling about this month, just don't think I will ovulate I'd be inclined to not adjust your temp from yesterday as it sits in well with your chart.

Weepootleflump, hope you are surviving your visitors (MIL and MT) I always wake up before I need to (I may have already told you this, apologies if it is repetition!) so I set an alarm for earlier, that way it's less often that I have to adjust my temp.

Where is Iwillbepgbydec07???

Have a great day all!

Hi angelfire777, I had a premature baby in Nov 06, who died shortly after being born. I have tried reflexology so far and we have had a couple of breaks away. Have you got any suggestions, as any welcome. He was our first child, so don't have any others for distractions and it also took us 18 months to conceive but Fertility clinic have said its just unexplained fertility, there is nothing wrong with us. Thanks in advance, much appreciated. What job do you do by the way?

Ready. How is your OPK line today?
Minxi. Keep my fingers crossed about your timing! Dont worry about the glasses of wine as I know lots of people that got pg after a few!!. Reckon it helps us to relax as then we are not worry about TTC. How did you manage to stay still for an hour?
Seaside always great to hear from you.
Mum sorry to hear about your blocked up nose, lets see what happens tomorrow then.
Lottie, you too with the the red wine, were you and minxi at the same place last night?
Rahrah I am so sorry to hear you are having such a hard time at the moment. I dont know your history but did you have a major shock? I have worked with a lot of people that have had this erratic behaviour in their body and a lot of times it can be put down to a major shock. There are a lot of ways that you can get your body on track. What have you tried?

As for me well I am doing lots of BDing. My DP thinks this is the best excuse to have sex everyday even though he has read TCOYF and knows about the fertile window - love his enthusiasm!!!!! LOL

minxi · 18/02/2007 11:36

rahrah sorry to hear your so disappointed, try to think positive, (which is very hard when you just want to get pg) that you know your body a whole lot better for this month than you did last month - sorry if that sounds cliche but we are all with you on this one - we all want to get bl**dy pregnant!!

what is wrong with us !! Nothing!! Its just taking time...

Have a nice day and just relax - you never know yet....

seaside72 · 18/02/2007 11:32

rahrah - stay in bed all day - why not - thats often what I end updoing when it all gets on top of me -I usually retreat to bed or sofa with a blanket, watch T4 or an afternoon old movie on channel 5 and make DH get me a creme egg.

mum03 - well done for beng positive and not dwelling on what-ifs! How dare you put your DC before us temp buddies!!!!

honeyapple - ) thanks for the good wishes - I am afraid that I am at the point that if it is not this month I think we will have to accept that something isn't working like it should and will have to start official testing. I know that loads of people have to but I have to say there is a part of me that so wanted to get a BFP unassisted, at least once! - Stupid - I know

lottie & minxi - You 2 red winos! Actually I have more alcohol this month than any other as we have had a few lunches, dinners, parties etc (just a few glasses of wine!) but for the past year I have been virtually teetotal while TTC - but this month I just thought sod it - it hasn't helped so far!! And also if you dont have a drink at a party everyone assumes you are preg and starts asking or whispering!

So well into the 2ww - I think temping has def helped as it has given me something to think about and when changes happen at least you have an explanation. Talking of which after further TCOYF swotting I finally made sense of the fact that I often get mega night sweats a couple of days before AF starts - last year I drove myself crazy thinking that I was beginning the menopause! (another fear I have as my mother began her menopaue at 37). But now I think it is because the progesteroe is at its highest and that is what makes you hot - very interesting

Enough boring rambling - sorry!!

rahrah1 · 18/02/2007 11:01

OK just looked at FF and changed it yesterday to see what it looked like if I ovulated around the time I got a faint positive on the OPK... this would then put me at 12 DPO... which would make more sense.

Hi guys

seems like the game is up for me this month, which is strange as only DPO 10...Temp drop to 36.3, watery loss which indicates pre-menstrual as its the first bit to go on the lining prior to blood(Looked it up in my book), loads of period pain and sore boobs. I am so pissed off with my body...it seems to be all over the place. Phase seems to be very short this month, no CM and did not pick up a clear +OPK and then erratic temps, but still nothing back from the clinic. Why can't I just get bloody pregnant!

I have already had it for a Sunday morning and said to DH to be honest can't be bothered getting out of bed much more...how many times can I keep picking myself back up...

Sorry folks to keep you waiting, I was indeed being a good mother as greedy suggested, and unfortunately putting them before you all, will you ever forgive me?????

Well the news is that I still do not have a definite answer for you?. Yes you can kick me if you like. I was woken an hour early because I could not breathe through my blocked nose, therefore my temp was totally unreliable, as I could not close my mouth to take the temperature. But the 4th reading was 36.6, after the thermometer had finally warmed up. So take that as my coverline was 36.66 and my thermometer is only a normal one so don?t have the extra digit, it may be above or below my coverline, and may or may not be considered as a high temperature according to TCOYF, so hey-ho, let us all still assume that I am on cd4 and wait to see if my temp goes down again tomorrow. Sorry to disappoint everyone!

Wottle ? goodie a cycle bud! Hope you are conserving energy to go procreating soon.

Minxi ? great that you got good timing hope that the 2ww is easy for you.

Seaside ? halfway throught the 2ww great.

Greedy ? sorry to keep you in suspence, incase I do not get back here later (due to being great mummy of course!) I hope you enjoy seeing a lovely little flicker going on tomorrow during your scan.

Honey ? good for you getting some extra sleep, make the most of it, remember you are sleeping for two now!!!

Morning!
Yes where is Mum03???
Pootle- i didnt take my temp today as alarm clock buggered up... so woke up 2 hours after normal time (which was nice!) but decided not to bother with doing the temp. It's nice to still see my name in the roll call, but not sure if i'm going to temp anymore... ohhhh bit scary saying that...

Minxi- BD timing sounds very good. I hope it works for you this month.

Seaside- Your temps look good, hope it's your month too. I didnt appreciate you'd been TTC for 11 months- it MUST happen soon.

Rahrah- I had cramps and sore boobs 2 days b4 AF was due which i put down to period arriving... it's true that PG can feel the same as AF. I didnt have any feeling that I was PG at all. (still don't really)

Angelfire- dont worry too much about the temp problem this morning. It doesnt seem much of a fluctuation to me. Maybe you could temp earlier next month (if you need to) to avoid that problem of waking up early.

Lots of love as always
xx
