OP posts:
angelfire777 · 12/02/2007 22:57

mum03. thanks, I will carry on with warming the thermometer then!
Ready thanks for the info, you are brilliant at helping!
Rahrah and honeyapple and mum03, i cant wait to see your profiles too, I am just as nosey!!!!
Iwill thanks for your well wishes on Pompom(the chicken). She is now curled up being broody in a box in our kitchen much to the amusement of my DP {grin}

fettle · 12/02/2007 21:51

Hi Honey - I can't see your profile!

Temps were normal high post-ovulation, until about 8DPO then started get some higher ones at 36.9 and even one 37.0. Not quite sure what made me think I was pg, as I wouldn't have tested at 12 DPO otherwise - Ready/CBF would not have approved!

sleep well.

just tried to do it to you lot only
added your names to my mates... and then put
'no' for whether i want it public...
so dunno if that works? can any of you read it?

honeyapple · 12/02/2007 21:01

Hi- just added my profile- it is kind of a work in progress...
cant work it out how to do it just to you lot though...

Hi Fettle, always lovely to hear from you.
What were your temps like before you got the BFP?

rahrah1 · 12/02/2007 20:58

fettle - there is no way you should feel awkward...You are one off us!

fettle · 12/02/2007 20:40

Hi All

Just checking in - feel a bit awkward coming on here now, as you all seem quite settled in your group again, but just want to let you know that I am thinking of you all - and feel quite proud that the little thread I started has made it to round 2!! Let's hope you all graduate, before round 3 is required!

Mum03, honey - still looking good - hang in there!

Hope everyone else is feeling positive.

take care all

x

honeyapple · 12/02/2007 20:40

Evening all,
I will only do the profile if i can work out how to make it viewable only to you lot. I dont want any old mner poking her nose in!!

mum03 · 12/02/2007 17:21

I put you in as best mates, but I could not figure how to set my profile for mates only viewing, I must be thick or something, could you tell me how I do it, then I will add more juicy info!

Another pill I could take! And just read in Metro that Boots are starting Viagra over-the-counter on 14th Feb! So just need to ask DH to get down there and discuss his "impotence" with the pharmacist. Okay, maybe I won't be giving that a try.

iwillbepgbydec07 · 12/02/2007 16:41

just want to say i myself am not considering going down this road as it seems extremly far fetched

iwillbepgbydec07 · 12/02/2007 16:41

ah i knew i was going to say somthing to you girls....

my mum called me this morning suggesting viagra to me i reassured her that we certainly didnt need any help in that department...but she didnt mean it that way this is what she said..

she heard or read somwhere that a woman conceived a child in her previous relationship then with her new partner conceived early on in the relationship but they both decided it was bad timing and she aborted it. a few years later when they got married and were settled they started trying and this woman had 5 m/c in a row until the doctor prescribed her viagra. after a boozy night out she and her husband gave it ago...2 weeks later bfp.

im not sure about this myself but the science behind it is that viagra increases blood flow to the uterus to helps to support a pregnancy......

any opinions or thoughts?

iwillbepgbydec07 · 12/02/2007 16:36

congrats lottie on your positive opk!! i could never get on with them so welldone!!

angelfire - your chicken sounds hope she perks up a bit soon and so do you when you get your bfp

when are you going to start a chart so i can spy on your temps?

ClearBlueFairy · 12/02/2007 15:57
Hmm
Ready · 12/02/2007 15:56

Mum03, Oh booooo! We don't know your favourite books, and moosic But honestly, don't feel under pressure cos of me and Lottie!! You could always set your profile so only your mumsnet mates (US!) can see it? Just a thought, since you are shy.

Rahrah, Looking forward to nosing at your profile "My name is Ready, I have a sickness, I am nosy"

Angelfire, +veOPK = positive result on an ovulation prediction kit Feel so sorry for your hen, bless her! Is that where the term "clucky" comes from then?? Good to hear that you are not anaemic! Fingers crossed for the other 2.

Greedy Yeah... Part of me is worried about my nicotine riddled eggs But if it that hilarious then I guess I really shouldn't be huh? Oh, and I said you'd be ok flying, it's later in the pregnancy that you need to worry! Also... I think that you are the clearbluedevil again! STOP TELLING PEOPLE TO TEST!!!!!!

Iwillbepgbydec07, flower!! What's going on with your temps?? Are you ok? Sleeping well? Worried about you.

angelfire777 · 12/02/2007 15:27

Please can someone tell me what +ov opk is? Is it something to do with ovulation peak?

this thread is getting hard to keep up with! took me ages to read over it and i only had one day off!welcome newbies!

ok i have been typing this as i have been reading so it might not all make sense!

honeyapple - we went to cyprus lat year and it was great! flight is only 4 hrs ish and they seem to love kids so much there, they make you feel really welcome, it was great. portugal the year before which again, was fab! menorca the year before, which wasnt so good! its very difficult isnt it!!! we didnt have much choice this year cos we wanted to go NOW and wanted it to be hot, so that only left far away p[laces! croatia is nice, just wouldnt go back to porec, but other parts have nice beaches i think!

you have all scared me sufficiently with the flying when pg thing, but i DON'T care! its all booked now so there is nothing i can do now! and logically, i cant see ANY real reason why it could be at all dangerous for me to fly in the early stages. i can see why it might not be advisable as you get further along, but not now really. anyway, i am just trying to make myself stop worrying! i have flown before lots when pg, so im sure it will be fine!

lottie - yippee on the +ve opk! it is so exciting when it goes positive isnt it! makes you feel really in control! also, i wouldnt worry too much about letting his troops recover cos i must have concieved this time on our tenth consecutive day of shagging (bar one day!) so his supplies must have been quite depleted but it still worked! and yes! women do stop ovulating when their eggs run out! we are all born with our quota of eggs and once they have gone thats it! just read further in the thread and discovered that you all seem to know this anyway, so ignore the above!

ready - you make me laugh!!!!!! you REALLY dont need to worry about your mum smoking whilst you were inside her! you weren't really worrying about that were you?

minxi - you are one busy lady! will you really have time for another one!?

honeyapple and mum03! its looking REALLY good for you two! will you two be the next to graduate? i am with lottie - TEST TEST TEST!!!!!!!

mum03 · 12/02/2007 13:38

Angelfire - I found warming the thermometer first before taking temp made my readings much more accurate.

Ready - have posted a little info, if you want more you will have to ask specifics!!!! Lottie - are you nosey or what lol hehehe!

Morning all! Or should I say good afternoon!
Been busy recording this morn but then my next door neighbour decideded to do some building work - erghhhhh!!!!But at least it reminded me that I hadnt posted my temps yet
This is my highest temp yet, because after reading yesterdays posts I decided I would do warming thermometer for 1 min before taking it.
Very excited about this month. Got first test back from doctor(had three) re: aneamia (is this how you spell it?) and all fine. Still waiting for the other 2.
Oh yes,one of my chickens is really broody and because we dont have a cockeral she wont ever get PG. I am relating to her at the mo as she sits on the nest on an unfertilsed egg She is making me even more broody!!!!!

rahrah1 · 12/02/2007 13:05

weepootleflump · 12/02/2007 12:47

Afternoon all,

Have had a bit of a drop this morning, is this likely to be because I was scrambling about like mad when my thermometer wasn't under my pillow? (eventually found it under bed).
