Afternoon everyone!
Very happy got my other 2 tests (thyroid and german measles) and everything is OK . So the fact that I generally have lower temps than most is not to do with a thyroid problem

Definitely seeing a change in my CF since starting the grapefruit. Im hoping to see lots of ewcf hopefully this time!!!
Lottie come back its not the same without you - let us try to cheer you up!
Can some tell me what WW stands for? It used to mean world war!!!
Keeping my fingers crossed that there may be a couple of people with BFP soon, not sure whether I could resist testing if it were me.x

Thanks for the advice Ready - I know - our GP said the same thing when we saw him - it seems so easy in theory but just never seems to work IYKWIM - I never seem to feel remotely like BDing until around day 7/8 and then we have a good effort around mid month , but then the last third or so of the month just seems to diasappear. I know this could be our downfall - and DH and I have had long chats about being more consistent but for some reason we can't follow it through. We ARE going to make more of an effort this month though. Promise!!

TBH both DH and I work from home and DH mostly works late into the night so we rarely go to bed at the same time without having to plan it. We seem to do better with early mornings though which is good (random bit of extraneous info - but Dr Mosaraf Ali - Natural Health Dr - recommends morning sex to concieve as he says the body is at its most receptive after at least 4 hours rest and also you are likely to be less stressed - who knows?)

Anyway - must try harder I know.

Mum03 -Thanks for the ray of hope- I always cling onto that bit of info ( and now greedy's experience! ) but have to say it has not worked for the past 10 months
BTW I am joining the don't test brigade - but that could be because I never test/need to, so don't really know how bad that urge is!

Hope you all have a good day. I am off to yummy lunch with DH - bucking the VDay trend we thought we would go today instead

ClearBlueFairy · 13/02/2007 12:00

FOR - Greedy and Weepootlflump

AGAINST - ClearBlueFairy, Ready, Rah

    • DO NOT TEST UNTIL 18DPO!!!! * *
mum03 · 13/02/2007 11:53

Honeyapple - where are you? I am waiting patiently to read your todays temp...

Seaside - good to get that temp jump today, as long as you bd' within the last 5 days you are still in with a chance, Greedy is prove that it can happen even so long beforehand!

Lottie - {{{{hugs}}}} to you, you are having a tough time with dp at the moment. Hope that he comes home talking to you later.

As for me testing tomorrow morning - Greedy and WeePootle are for, Rah and Ready - against, so I guess I will have to wait for some more votes to make the decider, it really is too early, but I suppose I need to check what a BFN looks like on these new tests before I can tell what a BFP looks like!!!! I can be very creative with reasons to test!
Just checked before posting and saw you had posted Ready, how could I be thinking of testing tomorrow?

OP posts:
Ready · 13/02/2007 11:45

It took me so long to type all that I crossed posts! I'm so sorry Lottie (hug) I knew something was wrong! Does your DP know that you are right in the fertile phase?? Perhaps next month (fingers crossed there is no 'next month' though) you should keep all that information to yourself? Don't stay away too long, hope we can try to cheer you up

Ready · 13/02/2007 11:40

Morning ladies

Iwillbepgbydec07, I would say that having the flu would have a big effect on your temps, so if you can't pinpoint OV this month, don't panic!! Just keep an eye on your CM If I do not fall pg this cycle, I am going to get some charting software I think, then you can spy on my temps My cycles are 28 days - every now and then it is a day shorter or longer, but no real variation from that. I figure I am lucky. Not sure about the science behind the viagra aiding conception, doubt I would do it myself, but t'is interesting!

Mum03, I have posted a message on the tech board about adding mates, you definitely should be able to do it, but the option seems to have disappeared. Will let you know as soon as they respond. Greedy IS the clearbluedevil, I am certain of it. You must resist. Don't waste the tests, no matter how cheap they are , wait and wait some more!! 18 days of high temps remember!!

Fettle, It's lovely that you want to pop in here, we'd miss you if you didn't!! How are you?

Honeyapple, How long is your cycle normally? fingers crossed your temp is still high.

Minxi, Jungle mania huh!! Wish I was there Hope you are not too tired in the evenings with all this extra childcare

Angelfire It is my pleasure to be helpful, although I am not always right! at pompom, bless her.

Weepootleflump, Don't you bl*^dy start It's bad enough with Greedy egging them on the test! No early testing!! The ClearBlueFairy will be very disappointed

LondonLottie, You are awfully quiet today? Not like you at all! I hope you are just busy! (hugs)

Rahrah, Yay, temp shift and ovulation, good news Now try to relax some Get the pink grapefruit, it has the same effect, but tastes nicer. How you doing?

Greedy, Stop egging them on. I will sulk.

Seaside72, definite temp shift there!! Stop beating yourself up about not having sex bang on OV, just ask Greedy about the possibilities of sperm survival Don't be bored with a predictable cycle, embrace it! Personal question, apologies if I am overstepping the mark, but are you having plenty of sex throughout the cycle? When I told my GP we were going to start trying (I wanted it logged on my notes and to ask for advice on supplements etc) she said that the most important thing is to have sex every 2-3 days throughout the entire cycle, that she has seen lots of people that think they have fertility problems and it turns out they are just not having enough!! Again, sorry if this is really obvious to you, and I sound patronising. That is not the intention.

seaside72 · 13/02/2007 11:25

Oh londonlottie - crap isn't it
Sending you big {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

seaside72 · 13/02/2007 10:17

oops - good baby training

seaside72 · 13/02/2007 10:16

Actually to be fair not all DH's fault last night - just as we getting "in the mood" the dog came in and threw up all over the bedroom floor!! It was a bit of a mood killer! - added to the fact I spent 20 mins rushing up and down stairs trying to clear it up (why do they always pick the most expensive carpet and right in the midde of the room nearly everywhere else is tiled or wood -would have been a doddle to clean up - but OH NO - must chuck up on the good stuff!)

I supose it could be seen as god baby training - dealing with sick at inappropriate times

mum03 · 13/02/2007 10:13

Greedy - stop tempting me, are you sure you are not the clearblue devil in disguise! I will be joining you on the october thread soon i am sure. I hope fettle and yourself will give me a warm welcome there. I have woken up with a sore throat today,so perhaps,,,, maybe ..... oh I don't know how I am going to resist testing tomorrow morning, it would be a wonderful valentines present for dh!

Honey - how are you holding up, those temps still super high this morning I hope.

Fettle - good to hear from you, I need support here.

Ready - are you going to tell me I can't test tomorrow, even with my new cheapy internet preg tests???!!!!! Got them yesterday in the post....

Good Morning temp buddies

Well think I have a significant temp rise this morn so I guess I have ov'ed?

Unfortunately not feeling hopeful at all as had usual DH wobble that seems to be happening every month so we did not BD Sunday eve or Monday - arghhhh! Will prob retreat to Hut of Doom later!

On a more positive note - I actually feel hotter this morn before taking my temp - I guess it could be psychological but interesting nonetheless. Although I am a bit bored of how predictable my cycle is - on one hand I suppose it is good but on the other it makes me think there must be something really wrong if it is not happening - Well once I reach next month at least I can back to docs as we will have been FTC for a year.

So half of us are over into the 2ww - nice and even - and exactly half way through the month too - loving the symmetry (saddo - I am )
