iwllbe and lottie - do you think that our DP's have an weird inbuilt contraceptive sixth sense??!! - if I had known I wouldn't have bothered with the pill for the first 11 years of our relationship !!

Maybe we could look into hypnotherapy - actually am seriously thinking about the old viagra over the counter at boots option!! Joked about it with DH and he didn't say no!!! Then if he starts and argument or tries to fall asleep at the crucial time of the month he won't be able to!!

I just knew that as soon as I said I was "giving up" on you early testers, I wouldn't be able to get online and you'd all think I was having a strop ... Honestly, you haven't upset me. I just feel that the battle is never going to be won, and in all honesty, it's none of my business when you want to test!! So I should just butt out!! So I will Lottie, I do think your rules are sound though

I am incredibly busy at the moment, so you will have to forgive me for not writing one of my mammoth posts... I am still thinking about you all though!!

I had a relaxing Valentines Day... got some pretty dress jewellery

Greedy, personally, I would be chuffed with a pedicure!! Pamper me up!! Oh yes, and just so you can stop worrying, we did have sex Just the once, mind. Who are you kidding with 5-6 times

Sorry to hear that it might be CD1 for Mum03, your temps were looking so good too (Hugs)

Everyone else.... big hugs... I will get on here properly as soon as I can!!

mum 03 sorry about af arriving!

lottie - glad you and dp have made up and are having valentines day today instead
i dont get what is going on with my temps, i have the sniffles now but thats it i feel fine and yet they are up and down..maybe i need a new thermometer but the one im using is brand new and cost £13!! i am warming the thermometer up under my tongue for about a minute then i press the button for it to read my temp, maybe i should try sticking it in my ear or somewhere else.....

i hope everyone else is ok and had a nice valentines day with their dp/dhs?

i on the other hand DID NOT! rowing with dp on tues night over somthing so stupid whioch escalated, spoke to him valentines day morning and he said to forget about the night before so i did.
didnt get anything for valentines day whatsoever
then to top it all off last night i offered him a massage and an early night, he said he hadnt had a bath yet and i can massage him after...anyway the hours were ticking away he asks am i fertile, i said probably so he said well we have got to do it tonight then.
11:15pm he gets in the bath! 11:55pm he gets out saying he "fell asleep" and he only wanted a cuddle now [angey]

this seems to becoming a regular occurance with us...he says one thing and does another and i am getting well and truly peed off with it! its fine if he wants sex but oh no when i want it i have to literally beg and grovel on my knees and still dont get anywhere!!

anyone tell im annoyed?! guess this is another month blown out the window

i wish i could turn round to him and reject him like he does to me but each time i just think im missing an opportunity to get pregnant

sorry to rant at you all but i had to let it out its been making my blood boil all day

seaside72 · 15/02/2007 13:02

Mum03 - so sorry AF is on its way - it sucks when you know it is coming sort of drags out the disappointment? - why can't it just start and then you can get on with it

Yes angel - where is Ready?!

seaside72 · 15/02/2007 12:59

Welcome back londonlottie - glad you are feeling a bit better - as usual I understand your BDing frustrations we managed to miss the mark again this month I think - I know the 2 days before are OK but they haven't worked for me in the past 10 cycles - so really want to try and give it a go on all crucial days before during and after OV at least one month anyway.

I am quite hppy with my CB monitor - I have used the CB smiley face one as well - can't really remember how much info that ones gives you but the monitor is supposed to store your previous 6 cycles so should adjust each cycle to suit you more (ie not using as many sticks each month) You just have to remember to turn it on every morning and see if it asks for a test. TBH if you are confident you have figured out your cycle I am not sure how much use it really is - it has features like flashing m symbol when it thinks your period is late - but looking at us all on here we would all know that kind of thing already

I have actually only used the monitor for three cycles last year - then put it away and am using it again this cycle - it should remember my old cycles - but I am not sure as it still asked for 10 sticks this month - it should go down the more it gets to know you IYKWIM.

I want to go and see your reflexologist and angel's osteopath - it may be false hope - but I'd take any hope at this point!!

Thinking of giving acupuncture a go - I know there are some threads about it and most of them are positive.

Hi Lottie!
Good to hear from you.xx
BD 2 days before OV is the BEST day to do it, if you only got one go... then thats pretty damn perfect! Something about the sperm acclimatising (??) to the surroundings-and being ready to leap at your egg.

Sorry to hear you have been argueing with DP- is it TTC related?

honeyapple · 15/02/2007 10:35

AAAAAHHHHHH!
I just did a massive post then somehow accidently pressed something and its all bloody gone...grrrrr

So, I shall begin again.

Mum03- sorry to hear you are feeling shit and that af might be on her way. But on the plus side, it's still relatively early days for you on the TTC highway. Sorry- not much comfort i know. I think it pissed me off more when AF came in the first couple of months, cos i couldnt believe it! Know i couldnt believe it if it didnt!

Had a stupid temp taking session this morning. Got up as needed a pee- realised it was 6 am so took my temp (usually do it 7.30) anyway it said bloody 36.5!!! Which is def just below or on coverline. Anyway went back to sleep, took temp again at 7.30 and it was 36.8. So I have decided to post 36.7 this morning as a compromise and to make me feel better. It may not be accurate, but I dont care! Will make sure i get a proper temp tommorrow.

I am feeling a bit odd- kind of clammy and hot. Boobs very sore and nips seem bigger??
Probably all AF related. Tis due tommorrow or sat.

Love to everyone
xx

rahrah, night of passion indeed, I wish!, instead I was tucked up in bed by 9pm and sniffling like a maniac. I have a nasty headcold and feeling very sorry for myself, couldn't even get a sensible temp reading today, as I kept waking up every couple of hours and then when I did try to take my temp, I could not breath though my nose so my readings were all over the place, anywhere between 36.1 and 36.8 depending on whether I could hold my mouth shut long enough!!!! Well I was coming to post earlier that I thought perhaps fertility friend had got the calculations right and that I am only 12dpo, but just popped to the toilet and tra-la, there she is on her way, I can see aunt flo in the distance. Spotting now, will be full flow by lunchtime. So I guess I will be cycle day 1 again by the end of today.

I will try to come back later to read happy thoughts from the rest of you.

Minxi - I think disturbed sleep can raise your temp - I know that on the two nights pre ov this month that I had woken up in the night I had higher temps than average? I am sure your bug doesn't help too! Hope you feel better soon.
