rahrah - for you a new thread!

Can I ask for some more advice oh wise ones?

As I said yesterday my temp had been up cos I was unwell.
Temp this morning was back down again and I really thought that now was about the time that I OV'd. But it seems that I havent. And havent even had a small hike. They are all staying around 36.3.

BUT, I have heard people on MN say that temping and using OPK's can delay ov. Do you all think this is true or did any of you have a surprise as to when you OV'd when you started temping?

I'm not worried cos have had EW for a few days now- just excited!!

Mum03- I thought about mentioning your high temperature earlier! - def test in the morn - how many posts have we read on here saying "4 BFN's then a BFP after what I thought was AF"!!
It could be you (Giant finger points at you from the sky!)

More excited about your temp in the morning than have been about my own!!

Good Luck!

honeyapple · 16/02/2007 21:04

Mum03-I wouldnt rely on fertilityfriend that much. It recks i'm not due af till monday- also it had me down at OVing a couple days after i think i did. I would wait to see your temp tommorrow too- i will be taking mine as well.

Greedy- You are right about the BDing! Last month shagged every day- nothing- this month just 2 attempts during fertile time!

How was the zoo btw?

mum03 · 16/02/2007 20:48

If fertility friend is to be believed then I would have only been 13dpo today, so I will wait til tomorrow morning, if I do not get a significant temp dip tomorrow then I will test again with fmu. I don't want to test tonight as I have been weeing like a mad woman all day - don't know if this is because I needed to or if I was just wondering what the heck was going on with such a light flow. I think aunt flo is just being nice to me, I think all the "symptoms" are just all my mind playing tricks on me. I will be very curious for tomorrows temp though. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, and also ready - you are a good influence on me, I don't think of you as cold-hearted, just as the voice of reason. And a good one at that!

OP posts:
greedyforbabies · 16/02/2007 20:31

DO IT NOW!

Ready · 16/02/2007 20:24

Scrap what I said!!! TEST!!! Honestly, you are not being stupid (and I really hope that you don't think I am that cold-hearted ) it is very possible to bleed and still be pregnant. Some women continue to have a monthly bleed ??? not sure of the science behind it, but apparently it can happen.

So in this instance, with the high temp, and the uncertainty, and the half flow... I'd say do a test to reassure yourself one way or the other.

Sorry if I am giving conflicting messages... I never want people to think I am a bitch when it comes to testing early. It all comes from a good place. Honest.

greedyforbabies · 16/02/2007 20:20

how many dpo's are you now mum03?

greedyforbabies · 16/02/2007 20:19

mum03! i was just going to type that in my post anyway! i think your temp looks v.high still and i had some red blood this time when i found out i was pg, but i tested cos my temp stayed high. i had even started using tampons cos i thought af had arrived and then i realised she hadn't. see what your temp is like in the morning, but if its still high i would DEFINATELY TEST! i had what i thought was a bfn on 11dpo like you did too! so there could still be hope!

HONEYAPPLE Yippee yippee yippee!!!! well done girl! just goes to show shagging every day isnt always the way to do it is it!!!!! didnt you have a marathon bonking session last month with no BFP and then not so much this month and a BFP!!!! i am so pleased for you! what is your EDD?

hello everyone else!

who was the person with the extremely high temp? i hope it was a typo, or i would be a bit concerned cos that is a serious fever! it was a typo wasnt it?

mum03 · 16/02/2007 20:09

No I have not done another test, I still have ready's thoughts in my head... I will not test until I am certain this time, as this could all be coincidences. I am just being impatient, my temps will probrably go down over the next few days, if my temp hadn't gone up this morning I would not have even thought about it, I would just have been grateful to be getting a light period. This I suppose is one of the down-sides of taking temps.

OP posts:
honeyapple · 16/02/2007 19:57

Have you done a test at all?
Only way to tell one way or tother. Many many people have bleeding- i did with my DD- thought it was AF used tampons etc... but it was too light. I thought it was AF at the time- so must have been pretty similar. I did a test a few days later because my boobs had got bigger... and i guess i just felt odd.

mum03 · 16/02/2007 19:52

Ok this is question I hope greedy can answer for me, but anyone can answer, especially ready as she always keeps my feet firmly on the ground and this question comes with a little bit of over-optimism with it!. My Question is can you be pregnant with red bleeding? It is not the pinky or brown described by most websites talking about implantation bleeding. But I have half of my normal flow going on AND my temp went UP this morning rather than down!!!!! This is where I hope ready will jump in and tell me not to be so stupid, it is just my headcold affecting my temperatures and just random chance that I have a very light period going on at the moment and EXTREME sore boobs, that never normally happens post-af starting..... OK someone please tell me not to be so stupid, I should be confident that I am on cd2 and getting organised to convince dh that he really is having a funny five minutes over finances (especially as he went and bought a new used car this evening!!!)...... hope you lot can help me here......
