Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (AF) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier.

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around too. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, temp experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Sending hugs to everyone wether you need it or not. Thank you for asking for DH. He is ok, took today off work as he was still shaken up.

I've been a bit meh the last few days. TMI but lots of shooty bum pains yesterday and today a bad poop event (non-urgent just got urgent) haha.

AF is pretty much gone now and it was a day more than what I usually had. All together no real cramps (yay) and quite light with only two days of medium flow.

I'm going to try OPK this cycle to see if I'm actually ovulating. I'm not sure I actually did last cycle.

Has anyone ever taken OPK in hand luggage when flying? I'm thinking of leaving the thermometer at home but taking OPK with me as I'll be CD13-16 while we're in Rome and I don't want to miss it. Also how do you travel with vitamins? I don't fancy taking the whole pot but then realise that 3 loose vitamins looks totally dodgy!! We don't have hold luggage.

jellyella · 09/11/2016 23:01

Harriet - thanks for sharing the info re your chemical pregnancy a few days back. I'm pretty sure that's what happened to me - the pain and bleeding has now stopped so I guess it's fingers crossed and on to the next cycle. I meant to say thank you at the time but then life got away with me!

LondonJem · 09/11/2016 22:10

Star I know exactly how you feel Sad worse ultrasound ever. Yours is a week before mine, will be keeping fx for us both.

Starmist · 09/11/2016 21:29

I've had my appointment through for my pelvic scan, it's on the 22nd. I'm shocked it's come through so fast. DH has that day off work so he's coming with me. It makes me sad because I thought when we went to the hospital for a scan it'd be to see our baby, not for this crap Sad

Visiting a family member tomorrow for a couple of days. They've just had a baby. She keeps putting things on Facebook about how amazing it is to be a mummy. I bet we'll get questions about when we'll have one. Really not looking forward to this trip, especially as in the 2ww now & feeling pretty crappy & low.

LondonJem · 09/11/2016 21:26

Kwick I can't make head or tail of that Confused

Skipper I call up for results and request telephone appointments with the doctor. Could you try that?

The cat is indeed obliging

sk1pper · 09/11/2016 21:21

Jem - I really want to do what you're doing and get the results as I go but it's so hard for me to find the time for an appointment. I've got 21 day bloods next week and I've just booked an appointment for both me and OH to go see the Doc for all results in late November. It really is a hard slog though isn't it?

Kwick - love your chart!

EJ - yeah I remember :) though I am absolutely determined to DTD tonight. I don't want to but I need to, I'm trying to make myself sexy but it's hard when I've got snot pouring from my nostrils and wheezing. What CD are you? Could ovulation just be late, you can't be that further ahead than me.

AlexiaB · 09/11/2016 21:12

Cheered myself up by getting tickets to see The Weeknd in MarchGrin Hadn't realised they went on sale about a week ago so had to pay over the odds but DH's exact words "I'm glad you got them because I would have hated to see your face tonight if you didn't" LMAO.

Kwick I can't make sense of the chart but props to you for doing it Wink

Jem sorry you're so teary. Hope the cat is letting you snuggle Flowers

Thanks girls Flowers

End of TWW is the crying zone for me. The slightest thing sets me off and then I can't stop.

Meditation is a good shout skipper and I really need to get back to yoga. Next steps - DH SA results Friday and see the GP next Thursday. She will refer for another blood test for me and I've got my pelvic scan on the 28th.

Hugs all round. This TTC business is brutal FlowersChocolateBrew

Nicky883 · 09/11/2016 19:51

Jem its the end of the 2ww that experience laine the tears Flowershope this ends for tou soon

sk1pper · 09/11/2016 19:40

Mouse - meant to say, sorry about your uncle. And hope your DH is okay and hasn't suffered too much whiplash or anything.

Jem - those results sound really positive. You should try and meditate for stress, it takes a bit of dedication and practise but it's life changing. Yoga classes also utilise meditation if you don't do it already. What are your next steps now you've had those results come through?

Regarding the USA election and Brexit...I've always had strong political views, but the fundamental thing is to always respect the decision of the majority. For example, I voted to remain in the EU but I would be terrified if parliament decide not to invoke article 50. It would mean democracy has failed and that is a very scary place to be.

kwick · 09/11/2016 18:19

Did opk at work but managed to not get stick "wet" and I used a pot... guess I am a bit of a dip stick Hmm

jem wish i could give you a hug. News sounds good.

Alexia get well soon Flowers

AlexiaB · 09/11/2016 17:54

Music nope, no temp riseAngry Just did an OPK and it was very negative which is soul destroying. Had a tummy bug the last few days and have spotted a bit so not feeling great at all. Yes I will be taking it but I have to take it cd2-6 or cd3-7 so can only start next cycle. How are you?

I agree neither perfect but I feel Hillary's flaws were insignificant in comparison to trump's! But you're right, that is democracy. We probably shouldn't move this discussion into politics or we'll lose the next 7 pages to it haha.

How's it going alexia? How are you feeling? No chart movement still? Are you going to take the drugs your MIL got you?

Jem that's great news! Not surprised your levels were raised if it's stress related!

AlexiaB · 09/11/2016 15:30

How awful Mouse Flowers Hope your DH is okay.

Skipper take it easy FlowersBrew

Jem great news overall. Must be a big relief.

Kwick good luck with the opks.

It's not like Hillary was a great option either though? She has an undistinguished and untrustworthy track record and should really be in jail for destroying evidence under subpoena. The issue I see is both candidates were not ideal candidates at all. Trump was democratically elected though and that's that. I have different views to most of you I guess, I voted for Brexit (I have my reasons).

Good news Jem I have read that stress can increase prolactin so results can vary depending on that.

Hope you feel better soon Sk1pper

Hope your DH feels okay today too Mouse

LondonJem · 09/11/2016 13:49

Spoke to a doctor. She said my prolactin is 650 which is slightly raised. I text my doctor mate and she said 650 is in their upper end of normal. Said likely stress related and they would repeat the blood test.

The good news is I am ovulation - everything else progesterone etc all normal.

Am very hormonally miserable today and not reacting reasonably to anything. Started crying ordering my cup of tea in pret this morning Hmm need to go home to cry on the cat basically.

sk1pper · 09/11/2016 13:33

Music - they elected Trump.

sk1pper · 09/11/2016 13:33

BRITAIN: Brexit is the stupidest, most self-destructive act a country could undertake.
USA: Hold my beer.

Musicgrrl · 09/11/2016 13:15

What time is appointment Jem?

Also, what has America done??

LondonJem · 09/11/2016 08:41

Thanks music will check out that B6 thing. Cannot wait for this phone call now to see what's up. DH hasn't had his second SA results yet - really really worried about that.

Love buffoon with combover mouse what a shame we have to look at it for the next four years Sad

Hang in there skipper FlowersBrew

Hadn't thought about GP or hospital in new area kwick we are so early in the process we wouldn't be moving until the new year. Will worry about it then!

kwick · 09/11/2016 07:56

sk1pper · 09/11/2016 07:30

Morning folks,

Sorry been lurking for a bit because been feeling very under the weather. Got a god awful cold but have been unable to take time off and recuperate as I've had training up in London all week which means commuting every day. I only had 5 hours sleep last night and now I'm at the station, ready to go back up again.... Ugh!! Also the weather has been shocking so I've spent most the day with soggy feet and legs.

Also it's my my fertile window and we haven't managed to take advantage of it yet, I hate wasting cycles like this.

I don't mean to moan but FML right now.

Sorry to those who are also having a rough time right now, don't have the time to reply to you all individually but I've enjoyed reading. I'm sure this place keeps me grounded and sane!
