Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (AF) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier.

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around too. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, temp experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Skipper I haven't seen it but have thought about watching it. Is it good? Why uncomfortable?

sk1pper · 24/10/2016 22:03

Anyone watch walking dead? That's probably the most uncomfortable tv I've ever sat through...
PS - keep it spoiler free in case someone hasn't seen yet

HepKestrel · 24/10/2016 21:44

jem when i struggle on the running machine i alternate between picturing me running over all the people who have annoyed me at work and thinking "if i finish this minute of running, I will meet my baby".

LondonJem · 24/10/2016 21:37

Hep you inspire me. Perhaps I'll have a run tomorrow..

Great news notyet hope all continues swimmingly

Notyetthere · 24/10/2016 21:27

London Yes the spotting stopped, Cm was back to white yesterday afternoon. It must have been very little that I could only see cm tinged with brown. I will put it down to implantation. Apart from cramping, more like a tightness and a strong sense of smell. Nothing else I can attribute pregnancy symptoms. Last time boobs were sore, even slightly bigger. Maybe other symptoms are yet to come. Only 4 weeks today.

Get in there with the treble shaggathonGrin. Fanjo preened and at the ready. I find the treble marathon is made easier when we both abandon other chores but focus on each other, laugh even share a glass of wine. LSFX.

MrsG that is one very neat line of opksSmile.

HepKestrel · 24/10/2016 21:16

skipper i'm just really surprised i'm enjoying it ! ok.... not all the time, but i am actually looking forward to my next run ! I am being happily distracted.

sk1pper · 24/10/2016 21:11

Hep - it will be good for you to focus on something else, sometimes when you stop trying things take you by surprise. ;) and I don't think it's wrong to obsess over something like exercise, it's a positive thing that will help you and your future baby xx

HepKestrel · 24/10/2016 20:57

and you mrsG...

HepKestrel · 24/10/2016 20:56

LSFX for you jem !

MrsG280516 · 24/10/2016 20:48

Sounds good Jem, I wish we could get another BD under the belt tomorrow but it's going to be impossible as DH will be walking out of the door as I get home! Just have to hope we've banked enough swimmers tonight lol

LondonJem · 24/10/2016 20:38

Hello girls Brew I need to catch up

Notyet has the spotting subsided? Are you having many pg symptoms? Hope all going as it should be

Tenner sounds like you're on track. It's a nightmare trying to work egg and sperm meeting when your oh leaves town. Lol at man on a mission Grin

Thanks for the reminder kwick I've stocked up on yoghurt and whole organic milk today Smile

Mrsg love a good scheduled quickie.

I'm day 11 and got round to an OPK AND a shag. Things are really hotting up. DH goes away tomorrow so we are planning stealth shag in the morning and again Thursday when he gets back. Egg is due Saturday so will be going for the treble - DTD Friday Saturday and Sunday. My fanjo better be ready for the action. Preseed at the ready!

hi sk1pper

i'm fine, no sign of AF. c25k still going well with my aim of using to control my stress/anxiety - into week3 now !. This is really important to me at the moment, as work could get quite stressful in the next year. Currently taking a relaxed ttc. So i don't know if i replacing obsessing about ttc with exercise? oh well. At least i feel like i am doing something proactive on the ttc front though.... other than waiting.

If my strong opk last week was ovulation.... then AF could be due this weekend. no sign of sore pre-AF boobs yet though. haven't tested again ..... maybe i'll test tomorrow after work.

OH is away much less, so the whole ttc on only weekends should be a thing of the past ! One less thing to stress about.

(p.s. I am still missing my pregnant big boobs !)

MrsG280516 · 24/10/2016 19:36

Haha sk1pper I know I'm going a bit overboard this month as it's my first month Blush next month I'll know when to test, probably CD 13-17

It's so useful knowing what's going on with my body, I thought I'd be clueless coming off the pill so it's really helped put my mind at ease!

sk1pper · 24/10/2016 19:27

Mrs G - Christ how many have you bought? Grin Once you work out the length of your surge you can cut down on the amount you use per day, I can get away with one every evening in the fertile week. Even if you miss the line going darker, you can pretty much pinpoint when it would have occurred with the negative the day after.

Kwick - thanks, I'm really bad for staying hydrated. I need to make more of an effort. Good tips though, I always buy pineapple because it's delicious. How are you by the way?

Mouse - hope the news isn't too bad, hopefully it's something simple they can fix. Do they know you've just started TTC?

Hep - thanks for an updated list. How are you doing at the moment?

Harriet - that's great news, Full steam ahead!!

YouOweMeATenner · 24/10/2016 19:04

Ha parsnips get your alarm closed lol

harriet that's great news about your thyroid tests, glad for you!

MrsG that definitely looks strong today. Mine was even better this morning again.

I snuck home quickly before my choir starts for a super quick BD. DP took it very seriously, he was a man on a mission.

parsnips82 · 24/10/2016 18:47

Hello!
Can I join the af party! Mine is next due on the 17/11 which sounds really far away!!!
Going to get on the opk and temp thing, but failed already this morning by falling out of bed trying to get my alarm don't think that is going to be an accurate reading!! Smile

MrsG280516 · 24/10/2016 18:40

I am getting a bit obsessed with my OPKs, looks like a surge today!

Hi everyone hope you had good weekends!

mrsg sounds like you're doing everything right!

mouselove good luck with blood results - knowledge is power!

I'm feeling relieved as had my yearly thyroid test last week (I have an under active thyroid) and got results today - absolutely perfect! Guidelines say your levels need to be at the low end of normal for ttc and I'm well within the reference ranges so delighted!

MouseLove · 24/10/2016 14:11

Afternoon ladies. Well, I'm still waiting for AF. Absolutely no sign at all. I had LOADS of EWCM this weekend, and again today. Had some pain really low down on the right over the weekend but today, nothing again. Temps still up and down like a yoyo.

And for all that remember I had bloods done last week because I've been having lots of back, pelvis and joint pain. It looks like they've found something so I'm back next week to discuss the results.

MrsG280516 · 24/10/2016 13:25

I'm not worried really Alexia, I think he just has something in the back of his mind that the op may have caused some problems. I've researched it and it usually has no effect, plus it was only one testicle so he would still have one perfectly working one! He's on the wellman conception vits at the moment but I'll be looking into what else I can get for him when they run out cos they're quite pricey.

AlexiaB · 24/10/2016 12:22

Good news about the OPK & dtd MrsG! If you are worried about DH's sperm you should get him on some good supplements & nuts if he isn't already.
