Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (AF) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier.

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around too. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, temp experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

I'd say in 4 days your temp would drop if AF is on her way. Keeping my FX for you. X

MrsG280516 · 02/11/2016 20:17

I'm assuming so but it was dull aches rather than sharp pains. I've never had cramping mid cycle before (when on the pill) so have felt a lot of random cramping this month!

Just wondering when to expect a temp drop if AF was on its way? I don't even know how long my cycle will be since this is my first one.

MouseLove · 02/11/2016 20:14

I'm going for BFP MrsG Wink

Some good news from me. My referral came today (speedy work from mondays appointment) to see a rheumatoid specialist - managed to bag an appointment in 3 weeks!! and a thyroid specialist of which there were no appointments so I've requested that they contact me within 2 weeks for my appointment so I'm guessing that might be early next year. So obviously not a high priority.

sk1pper · 02/11/2016 20:13

Chart looks fab MrsG - are you happy with it? Is the cramping around the temp peak your ovulation pain?

MrsG280516 · 02/11/2016 20:03

I'm testing on Saturday sk1pper I'll be 12dpo! What do we think?

Kwick - aww shucks! Grin your choice sounds perfect too though, what an interesting process you get to go through. Do the children born through this process get given the details of the father at a certain age?

So, who's up next with regards to the 2ww? I hope we get another BFP soon.

Notyetthere · 02/11/2016 18:58

Mouse Yes your temp is all over the place. I can see why you doubt it. As recommended by Music, definitively next cycle try the cheap opks to see what they tell you with regards to your temp pattern. At least then they pick up hormone in your body rather than the dodgy temps you are getting.

Here is to lots of bfps to those in the 2ww (fx emoji).

kwick · 02/11/2016 18:54

Bloody dreams wing Angry I had a lovely erotic Blush dream last night... very disappointing to wake up alone Sad

nicky I went for brown eyes, brown hair, french/italian/puerto rican Grin

Brain no longer working... what is SMEP?

you!!! Way to early to test!

sk1pper unfortunately there are few asian donors that meet the UK donor requirements... sorry to burst your bubble!

music challenge is there are so few donors that meet UK requirements plus are CMV negative... lets hope I do not have to choose again. Can you believe it was cheaper for me to use an american sperm bank than the london one?????? Crazy!!!

sk1pper · 02/11/2016 17:51

It's this one, I'm doing the clear blue clinical trial so it's a freebee. Not something I'd splash out on myself.

Yeah agreed Music. I probably should have done OPKS this cycle to see what's going on and not temped. Didn't realise my temps would be so erratic. And I think it's probably linked with my newly diagnosed high inflammation and over active thyroid.

Probably a weird thing to say but this afternoon I keep getting weird things in my tummy. Like I've got my phone in my pocket and it's vibrating.... only I don't have my phone in my pocket. Jeeze I've just read that back and I sound crazy hahahaha.

Musicgrrl · 02/11/2016 16:35

Gosh mouse you do have quite a rocky temp profile! Can see why you don't trust it. One you've had your first AF I think it would be a good idea to do cheapie OPKs to try and pinpoint O and then see what your temps show so that you can identify and recognise a pattern.

skipper I sympathise - work has been hard work today for me too. What ovulation kit do you have?

sk1pper · 02/11/2016 16:04

harriet - sorry for AF Flowers.

Work is a hard slog today. my wisdom tooth is hurting too. I don't want to take pain killers as I take so many during AF. Looking forward to going home and using my fancy ovulation kit - this is what my life has become!

Nicky883 · 02/11/2016 15:33

sorry for AF harriet

Nicky883 · 02/11/2016 15:33

skipper no that's definitely not weird. I have the dark and tall from dh but i am missing the green eyes :p

harrietm87 · 02/11/2016 14:28

Just a little update from me that AF arrived yesterday, bang on time after all (still not trying yet so was actually a relief!). hep if you're updating your chart my new date is 1/12 (weirdly my last 6 cycles have been on 1st of the month, regardless of whether it has 30 or 31 days in it...maybe my body knows!). I'm so bored of waiting now but after this only 1 more AF before Ttc!

MouseLove · 02/11/2016 14:03

Here's my chart. It's still all over the show so I'm not taking it as gospel. I'm not even trusting the crosshairs.

I'm having light cramping today. Nothing major just uncomfortable. I don't think it's a UTI as I'm not having any trouble needing the loo and it doesn't really feel like my bladder but more the area around it, I'm probably not explaining it well. It's like waves of stretching? I probably just need a number 2 or I'm getting a stomach flu.

There seem to be quite a few of us in the tww - sending out lots of positive vibes for some BFPs soon!

kwick I think I would spend a long time agonising over the potion too! FX you don't need to look for another donor Smile

WantingBaby1 · 02/11/2016 11:59

Thanks London & Nicky will try from CD 7 just in case!

ski1pper sounds good to me!

Musicgrrl · 02/11/2016 10:58

Winging so do I. I've had luteal phase lengths of 5 and 8 days before and then last cycle it was 19 so I really have no idea what to expect this time! Was convinced I must have had a cp last cycle. FX it's not a sign of AF approaching for you.

WingingIt83 · 02/11/2016 10:18

music I'm 9dpo but frequently have a short luteal phase. It's not dropped quite below line yet but is following the identical pattern that it did last month

sk1pper · 02/11/2016 10:10

Nicky - ha ha I actually spent about 5 minutes deciding what potion I'd go for too. Brown eyes, darkish hair, white British I guess though I don't mind a good looking Asian man. Is this weird?

MrsG280516 · 02/11/2016 09:36

Morning everyone. 9dpo and the 2ww is messing with my mind! No real symptoms, I'm just impatient!

YouOweMeATenner · 02/11/2016 09:35

I'm 8dpo. Couldn't help myself and tested this morning (I know, I know.) negative as anticipated. I'm off on midterm this whole week and have spent it so far obsessing, symptom spotting and ff chart stalking.

Sorry you had an awful night mouse, it's Wednesday now though, countdown to the weekend is on!

Nicky883 · 02/11/2016 09:25

Kwick that sounds so cool shopping for donors :p i would chose tall dark with green eyes :) and if i could choose region probably Mediterranean;)

London according to my gp the hsg test is done once you are refer to the fetility clinic. They will only do blood test as sa test in nhs she did say though that my dh doesnt need to re do it and i just need to send the results to them

Wantinf i have a 26 to 28 days cycle i usualy start opk at day 7 as per instructions on clearblue like skipper said . We are trying to follow smep so we usually dtd from day 7,9 ,11(positive opk) then 12 13 14 straight .
Although After my dh results that came back with very high count i really dont know why we havent concieved yet as i seem to ovulate each month

Musicgrrl · 02/11/2016 09:16

Winging I didn't think you were that far into your tww - how many dpo are you? Have you dropped below the cover line?
