Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (AF) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier.

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around too. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, temp experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Mrs that sounds like it could be an implantation dip so a great sign! You could try testing tomorrow if 12dpo - I've seen other charts where people have tested when their temp shot back up and got early bfps. FX for you!

Mouse hmm yes it does look as though O hadn't happened for you yet. Hopefully it won't be too much longer now. My first cycle off bc was 61 days. Hopefully you won't beat that!

MrsG280516 · 04/11/2016 09:23

Glad you still enjoyed yourself Music its nice to have date nights every now and then

Get better soon sk1pper I've had cystitis a few times and it's so annoying.

Temp has rocketed back up this morning (11dpo) but unsure if that's down to half a bottle of wine last night or not. Its the highest its ever been, so even without the wine I imagine it would have been higher than yesterdays temp, there's a 0.24 difference in the two of them.

MouseLove · 04/11/2016 08:37

Not that I thought I was "in" but I'm pretty sure I'm out indefinitely until AF starts a new cycle. Who knows when that will be, not me!!

CD50 / 10DPO (according to FF)

I have a theory on my chart too. I was looking at the pattern last night. And it does wave so I envisioned the first part of my cycle. It could have mirrored the latter.

I think my body tried to ovulate on CD14/15 as usual. Then 2 weeks later my temp had a drop. But nothing happened so it looks like my body tried again on day 40. I don't think I actually ovulated. But my body produced the signs and I certainly got the tummy ache too. I also got HUGE amounts of EWCM the second time on days 37/38/39 and then again a normal amount on 41. I'm looking at it from a logical POV. I think I'm in for the long haul until my body sorts itself out. ConfusedSad

Yep nicky I reported the internet (and my land line) issue to BT on wednesday. I restarted my laptop, still nada.

Hope you get well soon sk1pper Flowers

Still feel yucky but on my way to work, with vague hope I can leave early.

sk1pper · 04/11/2016 07:48

Kwick - how are you today?

Nicky - oh fair enough, I am hoping I can get mine through the NHS eventually. It's a lot of money for me at the moment. Hope it goes well xx

muisic - glad you enjoyed yourself, very important not to let TTC get in the way of enjoying your life!

Couldn't DTD last night, cystitis AGAIN. I'm an expert with this condition now, so got all my remedies out (some natural, some not) and this morning it's much better. No idea why I get it so much, I always urinate after DTD now to make sure my tract is clear.

Musicgrrl · 04/11/2016 07:12

Thank you lovely ladies. I had the steak and glass of wine and didn't feel too bad about it. It's so bloody stupid because I really seriously doubt I'm pregnant right now anyway!! Ah well. Couldn't enquire too much into what friend had read without giving myself away a bit. Doesn't sound terribly scientific though.

Mrs how is your temp looking today? Up/down? Mine was still quite low.

kwik sorry that technology ruined your evening!!

Nicky883 · 04/11/2016 06:58

Sorry kwick ! Have you tried turning it of and on again :p
Skipper i will do it privately . It will cost me £400 although i have no idea how much the medicines will be !

MrsG280516 · 03/11/2016 20:29

Wow that's a lot of medication Nicky! It will be worth it though I'm sure.

sk1pper · 03/11/2016 20:14

Nicky - sorry you've probably already said, but how did you get yourself put in for a hycosy? I mean is it part of a long series of fertility testing. Although your list is slightly horrifying, I really, really want this done.

LondonJem · 03/11/2016 19:45

Great effort starmist I don't think it'll make much difference if you miss tonight but do it tomorrow.

Starmist · 03/11/2016 18:56

Welcome York & Flutter.

Jem that's exactly how I feel too. How did this become our lives xx

Hope you feel better soon Kwick. Try & get some rest if you can.

Keeping my FX for you Mrs.

Tenner how mean of your friends, hope ur ok.

Hep I'm so sorry there's no AF yet Flowers so rubbish.

Well we've been having a good FW. DH has been great, he's been making the moves on me to initiate sex. We've hit every other day since Friday. Due to DTD tonight & I've got some EWCM. DH has just said he feels very stressed & he has to be up really early so doesn't want to do it tonight. I've been very nice about it but it's hard not to feel disappointed. He's promised we'll DTD tomorrow & Sunday. I hope we can still catch that egg.

LondonJem · 03/11/2016 18:49

Tenner wtf why would her dp not invite you? I'd be so upset too. That's lovely of your dp to book you a facial and massage. Good man.

Bottle of wine and chill sounds heaven mrsg Wine I have the odd glass in the TWW. Thank god as that would have been half the year without booze Confused worth cutting down though I think

Enjoy your yoga skipper I really need to get back into that

Hi binky good idea to book distractions in the TWW!

Hugs hep Flowers

Excellent work inspector and good news on EWCM. I usually get it a day or two before +OPK. I don't have acupuncture but i do have my pottery evening classes which I love. I'm also hoping to tag along on DH work trip to Cape Town next week so that'll be a nice distraction. Good luck for your test results.

InspectorPenguin · 03/11/2016 17:05

Cake Wine Flowers Hep.
Really sorry. It's shit.

InspectorPenguin · 03/11/2016 17:04

Hi everyone, we're getting to the end of the week!

It's been a busy, full on time at work for me so I've not been able to keep up to speed on here but also not given much brain time to TTC so that's been good.

CD25 here and DP went off to work with two vials of my blood to drop at the lab. He also did his business in a pot and handed that in at lunch (with semen in it, obviously, not shit Grin).

I continue to have an odd cycle. After not getting any positive OPKs I have EWCM today. I never get EWCM - not even in past months when I have had a positive OPK! I guess I'm having one of those weird cycles we all have from time to time. Just hoping I don't end up waiting weeks and weeks for AF to turn up...

Sorry you're feeling poorly, Kwik. Get plenty of rest, drink tea and look after yourself. Your work schedule is so insane that you must be permanently running on adrenaline. It's not sustainable for the long term so please put yourself first and stay off work until you're fit and well.

Music, in the nicest way, your friend is talking bollocks. Please don't stress and just live your life sensibly. The consultant I saw last week at the hospital had no issue at all with moderate drinking while TTC.

Tenner sorry to hear your friends have been such dicks. It must be very hurtful but your OH sounds lovely. I hope you are feeling less upset about it soon - some people are not worth being miserable over Flowers.

Welcome Flutter and York! We fairly often get new people on the thread who go and get their BFP soon after they join so fingers crossed for you both! Should you be here longer please feel free to share all manner of moaning, tears, laughter and weirdness.

Hope your TWW isn't too difficult Jem. I know this is the hardest time for you Cake. Do you have some acupuncture sessions to help? It looks like it's going to be nice weather at the weekend so hope you and DH can get outside and have lots of fresh air and enjoy the autumnal crispness.

Anyone off to a good bonfire night this weekend? We were hoping to go to Lewes but the train strikes have scuppered that. Bit disappointed as I love fireworks/bonfires and all things cold and festive. We shall be going to Kent instead and watching a display in a school field Hmm. Oh well, there will be mulled wine!

HepKestrel · 03/11/2016 16:53

hope you feel better soon kwick Flowers

HepKestrel · 03/11/2016 16:52

not me.

fuck it. just booked gp appointment in 2.5 weeks time, when i will be over 9 weeks post EPRC. It will also be 6 months from my last AF.
(EPRC was seven weeks ago tomorrow).

i'll also book my smear soon as well.

no sign of fucking anything.

kwick · 03/11/2016 16:03

I am not sure sk1pper but I had to have "implications counselling" before being able to continue. I do not know much about my donor - I figured I would buy the additional info once I got my BFP ready for when the questions come.

Took day off work to get over lurgy - feeling progressively worse though Envy

I guess the steak thing is due to the risk of toxoplasmosis. Just have it well done Confused

I have decided that we need a BFP round about now - who will oblige?

Binkybunny13 · 03/11/2016 16:01

You ladies keep so busy! I think I'm up to date and then I check in and have another 50 odd messages to catch up with!

Sorry as am the app so struggling to mention all but am thinking of you on TWW- fingers crossed some BFPs are on the way! And so sorry about your crappy times Jem and Tenner Flowers

I'm on CD7 after my late and horrific AF, and getting ready to get back into the every 2-3 days game on my way to FW. Like others, it's once I hit the TWW i go crazy as until then I feel i have some control- thinking I should book loads of stuff for week after next to help keep my shit together! Wink

sk1pper · 03/11/2016 15:48

Music - your friends logic is bizarre, all or nothing? So people either loose their baby or they don't. That means there is no evidence to support the argument. MrsG is bang on the money, I certainly wouldn't worry about it harming a disconnected bean. Don't get wasted or anything but a few drinks will be fine.

MrsG280516 · 03/11/2016 15:35

Music what exactly has she read that supports that? Unborn babies don't start taking nutrients from the mother until the placenta develops (around 5 weeks) so I highly doubt that drinking a bit of wine and eating a steak would have much effect.

How many people find out they're pregnant shortly after going on a full on bender?! Their babies are fine.

Musicgrrl · 03/11/2016 15:28

Was just telling my pregnant friend that I am going out for steak tonight. She started talking about the harm that steak and booze can do to an unborn baby (she doesn't know that I'm ttc). Now I feel bad because I'm in my tww. It's a dilemma. I seriously doubt that I'm pregnant and I don't want to have to put my life on hold in every tww but she also said that she read up on the affect of alcohol on early pregnancy and that it's pretty much an all or nothing thing, i.e. in the first few weeks it will either terminate your pregnancy or have little effect. I don't want to terminate my potential (but likely non existent) pregnancy! The she was saying about how she was on holiday and drinking loads when they conceived as they weren't really trying Angry
