Tested early BFN

Hi all, I am currently TTC baby no 2, next period is due in 6 days time.

I stupidly tested this morning and got a very definite BFN, would there usually be at least a faint line by this time if I were pregnant?

I've had heartburn, cramping and nausea, but no actual sickness. Weirdly my boobs are not tender at all whereas usually the ten days before my period they're really sore.

I'm not sure when I ovulated to be honest, the week after my last period we DTD the lots and its obviously done the trick!

Hi and congratulations! How many dpo were you? My af is absent and I tested 2 days later with bfn. Haven't tested again.

I'm in the same boat - tested early as DH decided that I probably was preggers (bc we'd done it twice in fertile week and therefore MUST be according to him...if only). BFN on CD 27. Going to wait 3 more days and test again if no AF. This sucks :(

What CD are you on? You might just be having a longer cycle. If you're stressed it may take up to 35 days on a "normal" scale.

Today is CD43 for me so keep positive and I'm sure AF will show ready for you to start a fresh cycle. PMA. X

Same here! Usually every 28 days like clockwork. Will you test again? I think I might tomorrow morning if nothing.

No it's not appeared yet but I've had cramps tonight so I'm sure it's on the way. It's so weird, I'm never late normally x

I didn't get my BFP until a day or two after my pissed period. I think if you can hold off until it's actually late before taking- I know it's hard but I think it would have saved me a lot of stress!

Implantation takes place from 6-12 DPO. It then takes 3-4 days after this for there to be enough HCG in your system for a HPT to pick up.

The early result tests only get you the advertised '5 days before your period is due' if you have implantation at 6 DPO (assuming a 14 day luteal phase).

If you have implantation at 12 DPO and a 14 day LP you won't get a positive HPT until after your period is due.

Hi cat lover, sorry to hear that.
I haven't tested yet as I dont have a test and my daughter has a cold so were stuck in for the day. Might send my boyfriend after work for one if AF hasn't arrived. So think it'll be tomorrow morning I do my test if no period.

Managed to refrain from anymore tests and tomorrow is when AF is due (but hopefully doesn't arrive!)

I still have no breast pain at all which is unheard of for me, they're usually extremely tender for about a week prior to my period. Also no spots which I do tend to break out just before!

But have had a few stomach and back twinges today which I'm trying to ignore!

Hate hate hate this waiting!

I am in exactly the same boat. AF also due on weds for me. I tested today and BFN. I was sick today which made me test. But maybe just a bug as there's a lot going around my office. will test again on Weds. Fingers crossed for you OP!x
