Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining I have been following this group since the October bus and I finally felt brave enough to join in it's been good knowing I am not alone.

I wanted to ask if anyone else has been in this position, I am usually very regular 28/29 day cycles, been off the pill for 2 years af was due on Monday, I tested and bfn. But now still nothing... I have been coping ok with the ups and downs of TTC but this is really starting to upset me. Can anyone shed any light/reassure me? I have no one else to talk to about all of this.

Hi all. Great to see some bfps. Congratulations! My af is here very early so I'm out for this month. Probably won't be on the next bus as the whole thing is getting to me and need a pause and a think. I may see some of you back on the buses next year but I wish as many as possible bfps for Christmas!

Hells I think it'd be worth using opk even if just for one cycle because it can give you a rough idea of when you might ov. If I went by apps on my phone I'd be trying at completely the wrong time! Thankfully I've learnt a lot by reading online and try and go by bodily signs. Hopefully you and the other ladies won't be hanging around much longer! I'm currently enjoying my fw with candles and cosy nights in

Thank for the sperm storing suggestions . I've decided I'll just up my dose of Angus Cactus (was taking 1 pill a day before) and pray that shortens my cycles! Just waiting on the witch appearing now...

So I think I am entering the 2ww.

Am pretty sure I ovulated sometime between Tuesday and today and managed to dtg 3 times before and during this time.

So now...relax, don't think about ttc and get on with life.... Yeah right!! When can I start sympton spotting?!?!

Sorry to hear of your mc jan and your chemical hells. I'm starting to wonder if I had one last AF as it lasted such a long time. And my cycle is being really weird this month. CD 21 and no positive opk yet (think I normally ovulate cd19).

I am TTC 1 that was my first cycle so this is all new to me. Trying to get to know my cycles better now. I have been off the pill for 12 months or so. I have always tracked my cycles but paid no attention to CF or anything like that.
I should be coming up to my FW now but still have a bit of blood in my CF. Only see it when I wipe (TMI) I wouldn't need a pad or anything.

So in the New year if I'm not pregnant I will go and get some opk.

With ttc 1 I used opk cycle 1 and had BFP but mmc after 8 weeks. I then used opk and fell pregnant on cycle 2 after mmc but had another mc. Decided to stop using opk as DH insisted it made sense to just dtd every few days after af finished. I then fell pregnant again on cycle 2 after second mc and now have ds1 who just turned 1.

Ttc 2 and I'm on cycle 2 and DH is again adamant that we try and be 'natural' about it and dtd regularly. I know what he says makes sense but I like the reassurance of knowing when I'm about to ovulate. I did use cb opk on cycle 1 just to get a rough idea of when I ovulate and if it all ties in with bodily signs as my cycle length has become shorter from 32 to 28 days since having ds1.

For now I've decided to do it dh's way (because he doesn't want me obsessing) don't get a BFP within another 3-4 months I think I'll start using opk.

Lovechild sorry you are feeling down - this was me over the last few days, even down to the hangover. I was saying the same to DH about not drinking.

Was at the doctor yesterday - just regards to repeat prescription for migraine tablets.
Was telling her about AF being 3/4 days late the how heavy and long it was. It is usually 5 days but lasted 8 days. She thinks I had a chemical pregnancy from what i described. Don't know what to make of it, was so emotional yesterday. Everything made me cry - But I am feeling a lot better today.

Anyway ready for this month now - FW will be here the end of the week.

Sorry to hear af got you, writer. Mine is due this weekend and I'm sure it'll come as usual.

I'm glad it's here because I knew I couldn't be pregnant this cycle anyway. I'm all geared up to have a non breast feeding cycle, my first one, as it's known that breast feeding can make conception difficult so here's hoping I am more likely to get a BFP now.

Sorry that you're feeling low lovechild - I don't really drink so whenever I needed to 'drown my sorrows' I would head for a HUGE box of Maltesers and eat them all in one sitting

Sorry for AF writer. Definite line there Flapper, I can see it even with my hangover. Had a crappy exam yesterday but I suppose the only plus side of being on AF was that I could drown my sorrows. Now remembering why I wasn't that sad about giving up drinking... Feeling rather depressed!

I did another hpt purple and it's fairly light, I also got another one from a different brand but peed all over the window and flooded it with my powerful jet stream.

As for preserving semen would it not be better to heat it at body temperature? Put it in an egg and convince a hen to sit on it till you ovulate or something?*

I know of one woman who kept the sample inside her bra to warm it up 😂

How many days PO are you Flapper?

My period still hasn't arrived and I don't feel crampy at all. Currently on CD37 of a normal 31/32 day cycle.

I'm thinking that if things have all gone a bit wonky now I've stopped BF maybe I should start using OPKs until my period does arrive just in case I have a random ovulation?
