The October bus (cont'd)

How many times a day are you testing? It's very unusual for you not to have ovulated when you have the other months. Do you think it's more likely to be caused by a brief LH surge which wasn't picked up on test? The month I got pregnant, I did not test positive on OPKs

Sorry for all the arrivals of AF.

I'm CD20 and I still haven't had a positive OPK whereas for the last 9 months that I've been tracking it's always happened on CD17/18. I'm not even getting faint lines, they are completely blank. I don't understand it really. I guess I'm having a random anovulatory cycle but I'm not too fussed seeing as even if I had ovulated DH has been away for my entire FW anyway.

Will the fact I haven't ovulated affect my period? Will I still have one? Do I just have to hang around and wait for ovulation to occur? I've never been in this situation before so I don't really know what to think....

I'm out too...AF here with a vengeance. Glad I know my cycles have normalised now though. Hope rest of you still on the bus have good luck! Hopping over to November...

I'm out. Af has arrived, with cramps to end all cramps. As if I wasn't already well enough aware of her presence. Grrr. Good luck those who are still in the game this month!
Cooper, I had the exact same thing last month, kicked in again a few days later. But always worth a test just in case.

Possibly implantation cooper ??

I guess only time will tell.

I still haven't ovulated - very bizarre.

This cycle is the first cycle that I haven't been breast feeding my DS so I wonder if I'm having some funny hormone issue or something that has caused me not to ovulate?

Urgh cooper, sounds like it. You might get it properly tomorrow.

Well basically I haven't a clue what is happening with me, woke up yesterday morning to do a test and had Fresh red bleeding on wiping so obviously thought had come on period properly and didn't do test.

Put a tampon in and as was at wedding didn't really think about it anymore apart from when was changing it a couple of times and nothing on it just tiny bit of brown.Again really unusual for me as once AF usually starts its heavy for few days.

Have pad on today and nothing on it, no symptoms at all so doubt I'm pregnant and just weird period?!

Thank you ladies. I did another this morning and it's still a BFN. I'm ok though. Well ask me in another month if AF still isn't here lol

So sorry mouse. I think I'm in the same boat this month. Light cramping all night without any bleeding, has now turned into AF. Testing tomorrow am if it looks more likely an implantation bleed by then, but I'm pretty sure that's my optimism talking. Bah. Onwards and Novemberwards...

purplehaze - I'm at work today and meant to bring some OPKs with me to test in the work's toilet but I forgot. I only have tonight and tomorrow night to DTG as on Monday me and DS are going away for 5 days whilst DH stays at home.

Hopefully we can DTG a few times over the weekend and then in an ideal world I will ovulate on Monday

I feel a bit pissed. I got a positive on opk but also have thrush now! I'm so annoyed

I'm sorry mouse - I think we are all guilty of getting our hopes up and so getting a BFN can be quite devastating

I always get a positive OPK on CD 17 or 18 and despite testing three times today, on what is CD18, I haven't even had a faint line

I started having EWCM on either Tuesday or Wednesday (can't remember) which is very normal for me as that usually appears 2-3 days before the positive OPK so who knows what is happening.

However, I'm very happy about it as my DH comes back home tomorrow (he has been on holiday for my entire FW) and so if ovulation is late this month it means I'm still in with a chance if I do some frequent DTG on Saturday and Sunday

Well that was hard. BFN ladies. 

On one hand I think I already knew, on the other I feel so devastated. Everything was against me. My sister turned up and stayed for tea then didn't leave for another hour.

So we went to Asda to get a test. The first response ones were sold out. I got a pack of Asda tests. Then I needed a nervous poop on the way home. Went to the loo and couldn't pee!!!

I think I'll pee on the other one tomorrow just in case but I'm pretty sure I'm now on the wonderful and uncertain wait for AF, whenever she decides to turn up. We should take a bet on which day she shows. Today is CD36

We're seeing what happens so not trying to count months or things.
However, I'm now 3 days late. 2 days late has been occasional post DS (13 months). 3 days late is new. I'm meant to be going to a beer festival on Sunday so need to buy a stick to pee on today I think.

Just been baby bombed by another 12 week scan photo on Facebook

I started having EWCM yesterday but had a negative OPK then and another negative one today too. Based on my previous cycles I'm expecting my positive OPK tomorrow and then my DH will be back in the country on Saturday night so who knows, maybe I will get extremely, extremely lucky this cycle if we have a one off DTG session then.

I'm not feeling too hopeful though!!

well AF arrived just now so i am out! this is cd50 so who knows what has been going on. Hopefully this means i am back on track for next cycle though.
I am going to celebrate / comiserate by drinking a lot of wine this weekend!

Mouse keep it that way. We didn't tell anyone we were TTC with DD. I wish I'd done the same this time. We only told people I was pregnant because at 6 weeks my sickness was so bad people were guessing. Then by 8 weeks I was showing. People keep asking if I'm pregnant yet. It's starting to infuriate me! We're adamant. I had to tell one of my friends as I was meant to go out with her Saturday and she wouldn't have bought the antibiotics excuse. She's under strict orders not to tell anyone.

Well if it's a BFP Rose I'll have 9 months to wait so what's another few weeks in finding out hahaha. It's not going to change the outcome. I probably wouldn't tell anyone straight away. I'm very close with my parents and sister but I dunno. I've not told them we're TTC. Still early days.

Unfortunately Mouse everything can be a symptom or nothing. I'm just jealous of your strength. I wish I could go that long without POAS.

Mother and Cooper I had a cycle like that in December. Started spotting around CD14. Absolutely pooped my pants as I did not want another baby then. DD was a nightmare sleeper and the though of another baby made me feel sick. Anyway, AF arrive a couple of days later almost 2 weeks early. It's hard to know what the bleeding is. Our bodies just love to play games.

mouse I had the longest off the pill cycle with DS. I think I was on cd 50 something when I finally got a bfp.

It's very frustrating isn't it motherofunicorns? Does your period sometimes start like this?

Fingers crossed for you, when are you planning on testing? I wouldn't test tomorrow if wasn't going to wedding I don't think x

cooper I am in the same boat as you I think. I had cramps on mon and Tues and brown spotting - v v light on Tues
Had v light pink spotting yesterday and a tiny bit today.
It is most likely just period starting early for me I think. I honestly thought it was coming on Tuesday when cramps were bad enough for a hot water bottle! I'm due sunday.
Not sure I'd have noticed any of this if I wasnt ttc!
Good luck tomorrow but at least you can have a fun day at the wedding if it's a bfn! X
