Evening ladies and happy Friday!

Congrats me9an and skee!

Here are my stats:

TTC #2 (DS is 23 months)
Age 36
CD: 16 (I think)
AF due: 19 Oct
Cycle 4

Bit of EWCM today so hoping to bank (!) some swimmers tonight.

Soozc we went through those tests when TTC#1. Good luck!

RoseBud1987 · 07/10/2016 20:30

Writer I'm going to have to pull back from some of my friends too. Some are pregnant and some will get their BFP soon. I can't take much more baby talk and announcements. I have to go to one of their baby showers on the weekend and I don't know if I can hold it together while I'm there. I feel like I have to focus on my well-being and surrounding myself with people who don't understand how I'm feeling isn't going to help me.

SoozC I honestly thought that I'd be the only one trying to conceive #2. I thought it would be easier (mentally) TTC #2 but I am really struggling. I see pregnant women everywhere and try and avoid baby talk as much as possible.

DH (who is very supportive and wants another baby just as much as I do) spotted the new book on the table earlier and said that book was made for you 😂 I have been completely obsessed with TTC this month and I think I may be irritating everyone.

Writerwannabe83 · 07/10/2016 20:07

It absolutely isn't soozC Flowers

Three people I know have all got a POAS pact for tomorrow morning and I'm dreading it. Everyone else is all excited for them and I haven't been able to bring myself to say anything. I hate to say it but if they all get BFPs I think I'm going to have to draw back because it will just upset me too much. They all know about my miscarriage and all the upset I've gone through with DH regarding TTC#2 so I'm hoping they understand why I can't show excitement for them Sad

SoozC · 07/10/2016 18:41

Wow, didn't realise so many on this bus were ttc #2!

Age: 35
Ttc #1
Cycle #8
7dpo
Af due 14/10

If I don't conceive this cycle I'm going for day 3 and day 21 bloods to see if there's an issue and DP will have to get his sperm checked.

Writer, I know how you feel about baby bombing. Sometimes I feel I live in fear of people near me getting pregnant because so many seem to right now and it makes me feel like a pretty shit person but I don't think I can help it. A baby of my own doesn't seem too much to ask of the world Sad

wildbandit · 07/10/2016 16:57

Hi please can I join the bus? I'm currently being tormented in my 2ww- had what I thought was IB on Monday (never had mid-cycle bleeding ever before this) but have had 2 BFN clear blue non-digital tests since then. I've ordered some first response tests and will try again on Sunday morning.

I'm gonna test sunday when af is due. I feel af might come before that so don't want to waste tests.

MotherofUnicorns · 07/10/2016 16:22

I researched conception supplements today and read that Inositol is good for helping ovulation and Vit B6 with Zinc is good for regulating cycles.
I have ordered some off amazon.
Thought it might be a useful tip for any of you who aren't ovulating regularly or seem to have messed up cycles like me

MotherofUnicorns · 07/10/2016 16:18

Hello again everyone!
Took me a while to find this thread...sorry.
stats are:
TTC #3
Cycle 3 since mirena removal in June.
Age 37
2 DDs 4 & 6

Currently trying to work out if i am going to ovulate - have had a medium dark line on an OPK for 3 days so i will keep doing them twice a day.
Tried to DTG last night but DH was drunk so not very useful!! Will try again tonight.
I think i just need to keep DTG every 3 days so if and when i do ovulate there will be some banked swimmers there!
Great to see so many BFPs, i have a feeling it might be a while for me.....

sandsandwiches · 07/10/2016 16:11

We live in a small (but not tiny...) village and people are so nosy! DH is a SAHD and shop is constantly dobbing him in about things 'he brought her in with out shoes on yesterday you know' etc They also say nice things to him though so we find it funny (&buy any embarassing stuff online Blush)

So yes I totally get what you mean. Was hoping to save more before ttc being main worker but you're right there's never a right time. We didn't catch that quick with DD and lots of friends have had trouble getting preg w no 1&2 so just going to go for it!

RoseBud1987 · 07/10/2016 15:53

Sand I love this age. Since 18 months she has become this amazing (sometimes wicked) little girl. FX for you. I'm looking at #2 arriving during the threenager stage! Sad

bairnsangs · 07/10/2016 15:51

Hey sandsandwiches and hi to fellow bus travellers waves

Haha well we can wait and see what the FRER says in a few days... Totally get what you're saying with the "half excited half scared" comment - I really want to be pregnant but part of my mind rushes off to "but what about my work, what about money, what about childcare, what if, what if, what if???"

I've decided to mostly ignore that part because we can't control what will happen in the future but we know we want to have a baby together and so we'll just have to manage whatever happens. It's a pretty life changing business so no wonder we're all having all the feelings!

Absolute LOL at the local shop's community contraception chat Grin it's pretty interfering but also kind of sweet in a way...

sandsandwiches · 07/10/2016 15:49

Such a lovely age isn't it rose she gives the best snoozy cuddles, so funny & is really into babies...Hoping to get upduffed before terrible twos start and I change my mind!

purplebella · 07/10/2016 15:46

Congratulations to skee and me9an (def a line!)

I've had af symptoms for 3 days now, normally only get them the day before but not gonna read anything into it!

Congrats to all the bfp's! We were going to wait a month or two after stopping pill but dtd yesterday in fertile week so may as well join in.. Half excited half scared. DH was supposed to buy condoms this month but apparently local shop refused to sell them to him because they 'know he's a good family man & needs to behave himself' Blush made me laugh though.. taking it as a sign!

bairnsangs · 07/10/2016 14:56

Today I've had sore boobs, feeling really sluggish, metallic taste in mouth and felt a bit nauseated, didn't really manage to eat anything till nearly lunchtime. I also have a sore throat and have coughed a couple of times...I'm 10 dpo. Too early for symptoms? Also got a sudden onset of thrush - it went from "hmm I feel a bit uncomfy" to "someone please give me a fanny-ectomy RIGHT NOW!" and I had to make a trip to 24 hour Tescos for some Canesten Blush

I think I'm either up the duff or have a virus Confused Anyone care to place bets?

RoseBud1987 · 07/10/2016 14:27

Sarita I already know I'm out this month. Just got to wait for AF in 8/9 days. I shall be joining you on the November bus.

I bought The Impatient Woman's Guide today. Making my way through it now.

Going to give acupuncture a go. I'm at peace with bot ovulating this month and that's ok but really feel that I need to give it my all now as planning to go to GP if we haven't conceived by April.

CaptainWarbeck · 07/10/2016 11:01

I'm hopping on to stay on the bus too...

Name: Captain
Age 28
TTC #2 (DS 17months)

Excited to see some BFPs popping up already!

saritah · 07/10/2016 10:40

Many congratulations me9an and skee and everyone else who I've missed!

Think I'm out as ovulation was earlier than expected and only managed to DTD the day after. Anyone taking early bookings for the November bus?!

Writer it's awful isn't it – I keep telling myself it's just the frequency illusion, but EVERYONE is getting pregnant! :( Hope your day gets better.

MissMagpie · 07/10/2016 09:54

Congrats for the BFPs - a good start to the month!

I think I am well and truly in my fertile week. Lots of CM though not sure exact day of ovulation and we have DTD (DTG!) four times so far this week. My DH's colleague said he looked tired yesterday and asked if he was having too much sex! He had better not complain - it won't happen next week!!

Writer I know how you feel. I currently have 6 friends who are all pregnant including a nearly 50yo and my S-in-L who has just given us her good news and her first baby is younger than mine. So basically everyone is pregnant except me. Trying not to let it get to me. It's not that I'm not happy for them - I just want my share of happiness too.

My stats are:
Name: MissMagpie
Age 33 (34 this month)
TTC #2
Cycle 4
AF due around 23rd Oct but could be a few days before or after.

MrsG280516 · 07/10/2016 09:26

Hope you don't mind if I join, I'm not sure if I'll be testing before the end of October but just in case...

Name: MrsG
Age 24 (25 in 9 days whoop)
TTC #1
Cycle 1 off Microgynon pill
Hopefully CD1, waiting for withdrawal bleed!

Don't expect to be so lucky as to fall on cycle 1 but you never know!

Congrats me9an and Skee hopefully this is a lucky bus!

bairnsangs · 07/10/2016 09:02

Staying on the bus:
bairns 28

Me9an · 07/10/2016 08:59

Purple I went to Tesco first thing this morning to get one but they didn't sell frer Angry
I've kept my fmu in a pot so am going to grab one in a bit when the chemist opens! Do you reckon it will be okay to test with that, or to go 'fresh' lol. I think I'm about 11 dpo.
