For those who can't do cheap opk's the more expensive clearblue ones you pee on first thing in the morning (normal ones you can't) which might work better? I really really don't think it's worth using them until you've had your first period though, you'll drive yourselves mad! Plenty of time for peeing on all the sticks in the coming months.
I'm on cycle 7/month 8 after coming off cerazette/cerelle (and was a very lucky one who returned to regular cycles straight away, no withdrawal bleed just a period 28 days after coming off it) and not a hint of a bfp yet, some people do fall a lot quicker but it's not a given whether you've come off the pill or not.
For those just starting to ttc, gp's don't tend to be overly enthusiastic about opks and temping especially at the start as they feel it puts pressure on you, so don't be surprised if presenting data to them gets you told to relax!
I don't temp but you should do it first thing in the morning, whilst still lying down, before you've moved. Ideally same time each day and you need to have relatively unbroken sleep for it to work.
